NH Fürth Nürnberg

I liked the quietness of the neighbourhood. The rooms were well sound proofed. I didnt hear any noise outside our room. I loved that our room was facing the park. And I liked that the windows in the room could be opened. The staff I found were courteous and very pleasant and friendly.😀

My only complaint really was that the pillows were not comfortable - way too soft . It would have been ideal to have some of medium softness and then use a combination to get the desired firmness.

We rented a suite, was really nice, large and good value for money. Free parking discount was appreciated. TV was not working but we got vouchers that we could use for 3 free 0.5l cold drinks they offered - was totally not asked, they just provided to us. We appreciated that a lot. I also got free parking promotion via booking (normally parking is paid though, 12 euros a day).

First of all, we liked everything and we really enjoyed our stay. Two little constructive comments: last time we paid 25 euros for the dog and we received a dog bed and a bowl. This time we did not get anything. They must have been out of stock. Still was a bit strange. I also did not like the terrible smell in the parking garage, I think it would be great to have a better ventilation system down there because we felt we were suffocating from exhaust gas accumulated in there. Very unhealthy.

I really liked the 24 hour reception, the friendly staff, the availability of the parking garage under the hotel (although it was a bit narrow-dangerous in case you are not paying enough attention) and the fact that there is an elevator from the parking garage (was good because we were with a baby and a dog). We also really, really appreciated the huge baby bed (cot) for the child, the NEW (or hardly used) bed for our pet, and the NEW (it literally had the sticker on it inside) bowl for our dog to drink water/eat food. That was really nice from the hotel (of course there was a 25 EUR fee for the dog staying with us, but still, we appreciated the amenities for him). The rooms were also really practical/nice, we had a huge fridge in the room and I believe even a microwave.

We did not have hand soap - shower gel in the room, that was a bit disappointing but I assume this is just a one-off mistake done by the housekeeping staff. What we also did not like was that we arrived after midnight (well after) and by the time we arrived and wanted to have a shower in the room there was hardly any hot water coming out of the shower in the bathroom. But I understood from my wife this was not a problem anymore in the morning. So probably there was a hot water issue during the night. Not sure if this is standard or it was just an issue in our room. We also did not choose a room with breakfast because the difference between room without and room with breakfast was 40 EUR, we found that's too much money for it.

Nicely located in the surprisingly attractive town of Furth. Close to the metro to Nurnberg, takes about 30 minutes in total. But Furth is worthwhile in itself. Park with perfect playground and nice terrace across from the hotel. Spacious apartment with comfortable sleeping for a family. All amenities are there, including a little kitchen area with a fridge and a sink.

The location was perfect and the staff were wonderful, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

I booked a room with a kitchenette, and was surprised to find there was only a microwave to heat food up. I had expected to be able to cook in the room. This is not my understanding of a kitchenette. Otherwise no complaints.

Good value hotel with a good size bedroom, we were in a suite. Staff were very helpful and friendly, with good English. We traded a daily clean of the bedroom for a couple of free beers everyday - first time a hotel has offered this, but it seemed like a fair exchange!

Free wifi was poor and occasionally dropped out. Breakfast was expenses to add as an extra and restaurant a bit crowded at the weekend - we ended up going to a local café instead.

We love the spacious family suite, the kitchenette area, parking was easy, the location to many food options, next to children's playground.

The floors were not very clean and it needed to be vacuumed better. The shower had rust or mildew in the corner that needed to be fixed. The painting of the corner of some walls needed to be painted over again. The AC didn't blow cold air and we had to open the windows. The beds were to hard for me.

Location, in the center of Fürth, close to restaurants, supermarkets, shops. Quite easy to reach from the highway. Friendly staff. Breakfast - considering the current Corona related challenges, the breakfast was pretty well organized and tasty. Although there’s nothing spectacular about this hotel, it’s a good place to stay when visiting Fürth and the surrounding region.

Wifi was pretty weak in our room and caused a fair amount of unhappiness. Cleaning - the room was cleaned only at our request. On the other hand, despite the “Do not disturb” sign, the window cleaners entered the room to clean the windows. Garage - quite narrow and challenging to navigate.

The hotel is situated close to the park and a lot of restaurants. Rooms are clean and very comfortable!! We slept so well that my kids didn’t want to wake up :) Bathroom is clean and has everything you need, shampoo, conditioner and even body lotion and all of good quality! Breakfast is also very good and with a variety of foods.

Family room/junior suite was excellent. Enough room, fridge in the room and comfortable beds. The lady at the reception was very friendly upon checking in and gave some good advice for diner possibilities in the vicinity. Pretty decent prive-quality ratio and not very far from the highways used to travel to the South.

Airco was not really easy to operate and didn't really work that well. Parking was a bit expensive. Breakfast not included.
