Location is excellent, very near to metro station and shops. Breakfast is nice and fresh, though could improve on variety. Staff is super helpful and friendly, on my check-out day, the lift was broken and she offered enthusiastically to help carry my suitcase down from 3rd floor, and the other gentlemen is also very helpful with giving directions to metro stations and places to visit.

Facilities too old, heater take long time to heat up and for overseas traveler with little experience in operating the heating system, would be helpful to give some notice/instruction in the room, as we could not call the receptionist. I notice there is some stain on the bed sheet, and housekeeping did not change the sheets even my stay was 2 nights.

The restaurant connected to the hotel served a delicious dinner. Our room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was very nice with many hot and cold options. The staff was helpful.

The shower had a very tall step up to get in, and getting out was difficult and dangerous. There was nothing to hold on to except the glass doors.

As a solo traveler, my stay at Frankfurt's Paulaner Dom Hotel was delightful. The central location allowed easy exploration of the city, and the welcoming staff offered valuable insights. The room, was comfortable and well-designed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Dining at the Paulaner Dom Restaurant was enjoyable, albeit a bit expensive but definitely worth the money..

Finding parking was a challenge, and it lacked a dedicated area. Additionally, occasional delays in staff responsiveness were noted. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel provides a safe and convenient haven for solo travelers in Frankfurt, enhancing the overall experience with its comfort, central location, and friendly atmosphere.

The best is the staff: always helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mile. If you check in late they will leave your key in a safe location. It's a relatively small hotel. Very centrally located by the Cathedral, near the main shopping area (Zeil) and Roemer/Old Town, just a couple of minutes walk to Ubahn to go the main train station or to various trams, and a short walk to either Hauptwache or Konstablerwache with connections to the S-Bahn. Wifi is also strong and reliable. The building is modern and has a small elevator, which is a big help with luggage. Rooms are spotlessly clean: flatscreen TV with German and European channels, tea kettle in room with a supply of instant tea and coffee. SIngle rooms can be small, doubles more generous, but beds in all categories are very comfortable. Breakfast (until 10 am on weekdays, 11 on weekends and official holidays) is includes and excellent for this hotel category: they even make you eggs and espresso/cappuccino on demand, no extra charge. White sausage, pretzels, cheeses, even smoked salmon. There is also a restaurant on site, which is open in the evening, and has an outdoor seating area too--recommended for a special treat. Traditional Bavarian with some modern twists.

I liked everything. But a small fridge in the room would be nice

Easy location to find, just go to the Romer/Dom U-Bahn Station, take the Dom exit and go round the other side of the Cathedral. The hotel is an easy walk into the main town square and is easy to get anywhere either on foot or by the U-bahn station. The breakfast was really good and excellent value and the service very prompt and courteous. The restaurant & Beer Garden attached to the hotel serves great food at reasonable prices. I rate this hotel very highly and excellent for a solo traveller & I would expect it to be good for couples etc

My room had no view other that a rooftop and fire escape. I wasnt bothered, but it would have been nice to see something else

Great location in the old town of Frankfurt so easy to walk everywhere on the tourist-trail. The hotel was very clean and safe and the breakfast was excellent. we were also able to leave our luggage before checkin but there was only a small corridor available and it didn’t feel that secure Our rooms were in need of a little attention (the bathroom was rather tired) and they were really hot at night (it was a heatwave so understandably unusual circumstances) but being in the centre of town meant it was quite noisy so needed the windows closed. A nice hotel in a good location

The location is great as you can reach city center with many sights and the river by walking. The breakfast was great for the bavarian soul with white sausage, obazda (chesse creme) and fresh&warm pretzels. The restaurant next door is also a great option for dinner with a beergarden outside (in summer). Staff was helpful and fast.

The rooms have a nice wooden interior, but aren't equipped well. There is no minibar (in winter you can use the balcony as a fridge for your drinks). The bathroom is old-fashioned with an incredible loud fan (other rooms might be different). The fan is linked to the light, so if the light is on, the fan is on as well, which is pretty annoying after a while.

Room had direct view onto Dom, which was beautiful. Loved the picture of alpine meadows behind the bed. Single room was simple but bed comfortable and it had everything I needed. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were very helpful. They managed to squeeze us into the restaurant even on a busy night. Highly recommend eating here if you can: huge portions of well-cooked Bavarian food. I had the beef and mushrooms in cream sauce with spätzle and it was delicious and filling. Good to be able to explore the old town of Frankfurt, though sad to see the total destruction by Allied bombing (photos in Dom porch). It has been rebuilt in a mixture of reproduction and complementary styles. Also river is very close so worth going to have a look too.

Nothing - it was really excellent and amazing value for money.

This was an amazing hotel to stay in! Right near the U Bahn. Walking distance to everything, river, old town, main train station. It was so close to everything. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. The beds were comfortable and the shower nice and hot. The breakfast was great and the restaurant downstairs served some great food with friendly wait staff. The reception at the hotel was so nice and offered us to take some breakfast with us when we left early on our way to the airport. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The tv was all in German but that's all I can complain about 🙂

Quaint, German hotel with great breakfast and a fabulous German restaurant for dinner that many locals frequent! All of the staff were wonderful, they went above and beyond to be helpful - especially train info. It is in a perfect location right next to the Dom and town square, with the beautiful Christmas Market. Loved waking up to the wonderful sound of the church bells, it was a lovely bonus :)

Everything was terrific, just wished the elevator was a tad bigger so my mom’s small wheelchair wasn’t such a tight squeeze, but that’s expected in older buildings and can’t be helped. A regular size wheelchair would not fit, so if that’s needed probably not a good place to stay.
