M&A Cityhotel Hildesheim

The breakfast was (for our taste) excellent: a broad variety of cheese and ham, tomato-mozzarella, ruccula salad, olives, soft!-boiled eggs, different types of rolls and bread, white fatless and 3.5% fat containing yoghurt as well as sweet yoghurt, different sorts of black tea (Assam, Darjeeling...) in addition to the obligatory coffee sorts from the coffee machine, two fruit salads, fresh melon slices, juice etc. Also warm food (eggs, sausages) - which we did not try as we do not like warm food for breakfast.

It would be better to offer not only melon, but - perhaps alternating from day to day - also other fruits (apples, kiwis, bananas) not included into salads for those (like me) who cannot eat oranges or grapes. The seal of the shower cabin door was defect, therefore, always some water passed through the door while we took a shower.

A prefect central location where major sightseeing and the old city are within a walking distance. Great parking for your car in 200 meters from the main entrance. Tasty breakfast, comfortable bed, stable WiFi and a clean room! All that for 78 EUR - great value for the money!

It was a bit cold in the room but the temperature outside was -9 Celsius.

We know our hotel cannot be held to account for this and the hotel was conveniently sited in the middle of the city however the noise from surrounding businesses and their clients was more than we expected.

I couldn't get WiFi in my room it kept loosing signal soon as you walked in .... apart from that excellent

Nice hotel, were told we could leave motorbikes outside hotel, but on arrival that had changed. Had to leave in a car park round the corner. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area and short walk takes you into the town square with the most wonderful architectural buildings.

Everything as we expected, good value for the money we have paid. Not quite knew, but maintained. A bathroom after reconstruction. Very clean.

There isn´t any fridge in the room, but we knew about it before. It is just comment. Noisy streed, but it is not problem for us.

Breakfast was excellent and the room very clean. The beds were very good to sleep in, pillows nice/full which is not the case often! The staff was very polite and helpful, even helping us to find a good parking spot in town.

The noises from outside, but the fact is that the hotel lies nearby the center of town, which is very nice.

Location excellent. No problem having a dog with us.

The car park was quite expensive for a spot in a place that had two clubs or pubs nearby and didn't feel totally secure (although nothing happened to our car). Nitpicking though - we really liked the hotel, and enjoyed our stay in Hildesheim. Nice town.

The beds with memory foam matress. The very fresh breakfast buffé and the parking at the back of the hotel. Big spacious family room.

The pillows, they were bumpy and flat. No bacon to the very nice scrambled eggs at breakfast.

It was nice experience. We arrived in the middle of the night and stuff wellcomed us. Room was specious and clean. Late checkout (12h) was good solution for us because we travelled by night.

No English speaking stuff (but we managed our conversation any way).
