ibis Koblenz City

We were a group of 8 women. We were welcomed very warm and the check-in was efficient and professional. They answered all of our questions. We stayed in Ibis hotels in the past. This one was the best when it is about the rooms, staff and service. Rooms were very quiet and clean. Breakfast selection was great and everything was fresh. Staff was very observant, friendly and helpful. The waffles were great. Everything was filled out as soon as it was half empty. Will for sure come back. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff made our stay.

Room was super clean, comfortable bed, short walking distance from train station. Staff member was very helpful both over the phone and at the hotel, he was very informative, attentive and ensured all our needs were met, we couldn’t have wished for better accommodation. our bags were kept safe while we enjoyed Koblenz. Nothing was too much trouble. I couldn’t get the AC to work but in any case I didn’t ask for help as it wasn’t really needed.

The location was perfect for me. I had an early train to catch on the day of departure and the property is a 5 to 10 minutes walk from the station. It is also an easy way to the Altstadt. The room was a reasonable size and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a large shower cubicle. There is a nice public area/bar.

The room was basic. Tea and coffee facilities would have been nice to have. The staff sometimes seemed preoccupied with other things.

I stayed for 13 days the doors didn't wotk automatically very hard to push or pull. The entrance door is dangerous it opens outwards instead of inwards I wonder whether it is legally accepted The fruit offered at breakfast was not fresh and very little choice Even certain food (sluced cheese) was a leftover from the day before.

Breakfast was fine, enough variety and pleasant ambience. Bed was very comfortable with good supportive pillows which was excellent. Not disturbed by any noise within or outside of the hotel. Location perfect for station and easy stroll into the old centre.

Would have liked at least some bottles of water to be provided in the rooms. Tea making facilities would be a bonus too.

Breakfast was good. Hot and cold food available. Air conditioning was good and essential for the time of year. Room was comfortable.

All of the sockets in the extension cube, a standard IBIS feature, wouldn't take the standard two pin plugs - several tried - whereas all the fixed sockets in the room did. This left a shortage of sockets for charging up devices.

The location is excellent, really close to the main train station (around a 10min walk) and really close to the city center as well (around 15 min walk). The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small but very comfortable. The bed was really nice. The bathroom was clean and practical.

You can hear some noise from other rooms and from the nearby train tracks, but overall I didn't feel it affected my sleep.

Friendly staff, Nice breakfast. Near to city center. Tourist attractions like Rope car and deutsches ecke can be reached in 15-20 min by walk.

We had booked a family room with one child. Room could have been bigger. No additional bed for child. Children have to share bed with parents. No parking was availble at the hotel. Nearby parking per day would cost 15 to 20 EUR.

Comfortable room and bed, well located between the station old old town, friendly helpful staff

My room was too warm and I was advised to turn the climate control off (because it was set to "heat" due to the night temperature) and open the window. But then my room was still too warm and I had traffic noise.

Conveniently located within walking distance of the old city and numerous restaurants and shops were nearby. Discounted secure parking next door was good. Very good buffet breakfast.
