Park Inn by Radisson Lübeck

The hotel is situated right next to the Holstentor, so within walking distance you can easily cover the old city of Lubeck. The room was quite spacious too and well equipped, the beds were comfy but aside from this I can't say there's more to add since we didn't spend so much time in the room anyway.

There was a foul smell of old carpet or smelly socks in the room (not sure if from the people that stayed there before us or not). We kept the windows open for the whole day (and night) to get rid of it (and we did). I just didn't want to go through the hassle of asking for another room when we had so little time in the city anyway, but I would be nice for the hotel staff to pay more attention to details like this.

Perfect position, immediately close to the city center. Service was great, personnel was polite and available. Breakfast was international and with different option. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it. I loved Lubeck and we will be back again.

A small missing detail that could have made it even better is the coffee/tea availability in the room. Also, I think some amenities like a gym would be a nice add to the hotel. But these are small details, we are satisfied with the hotel.

The bed was super comfortable, I slept so well. My room had a bathtub that was perfect for soaking, and it was overall a relaxing experience. The location is between the train station and the altstadt, which was perfect for an easy arrival and going to explore the city.

It was often quite noisy outside my door. Perhaps I was unlucky and just happened to be near a group, but despite being around a corner and down the hall from an elevator there were noisy people outside my room, even a bit after midnight.

The room was very spacious and had great modern look to it of which we both liked. The towels, linens and the room was very clean. The bathroom and shower area were separated and the shower area was very large, with ample supply of hot water. The restaurant located in the hotel provided a wide selection of items for breakfast. Something for everyone. The location is perfect and only 10 minutes walk from the train station and very close to downtown and sites.

From the first look at facade we didn’t expect such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that we felt inside. The room, restaurant and bar was very cosy and we felt at home there. Also amazing shower!

The room was a little warm to sleep in but was not a big issue. For example thinner duvets in summer and also extra pillow would been great!

The superior 36 m2 room was comfortable with a very nice view from each side.

The room was not cleaned properly, and the dirty glasses were not removed or changed. By check out I did not have a polite staff at the front desk. Hello and bye are the basics of each communication. So simple! No minibar at a 36 m2 room in a 4 star hotel!

Location, location, location and location. Other than that this hotel delivers all what you expect from a hotel this type. The breakfast stood out as a bit better than standard, I would say.

Breakfast could be a madhouse in high season when the hotel is full. We were lucky I think, but saw this tendency when some groups arrived.

I really liked my spacious room and the interior design (ambient), and especially the bathroom/shower (with rain shower), just perfect! Staff was always friendly and helpful.

I cannot complain about anything, I just had a wonderful stay in this hotel and can definitely recommend it. The only thing which I found uncommon was that house keeping came in rather late during the day, between 2 and 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

We have been visiting Lübecker Weihnchtsmarkt every third year since 1997, and every time we stay at this hotel (and Mövenpick as it was earlier). It’s a perfect location if you are exploring the city center of Lübeck, and the hotel itself is very good. The rooms (superior) are big enough and very comfortable. The breakfast was famous when the hotel was a Mövenpick hotel, it has been “modernized” but it still is very good.

It is a bit expensive, but not more than the others in that category.

The location was almost perfect: just a few minutes from the Old Town by foot. Lots of parking areas nearby. A wonderful breakfast. A spacious room.

The room was a little bit out-dated. No air-conditioning in the room, so it was quite warm even though temperature outside was only 20 degrees.
