We liked the size of the room, it was perfect for just the two of us. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were leaving via the train and the walk to the train station was very easy and quick. It is a bit of a walk to other places we visited, such as the BMW museum and the Hellabrun Zoo, but the walks are beautiful and relatively easy from this spot so we did not mind. There is also many food option all around the area that are walkable.

The shower has a clear glass door and there is no other door for the bathroom expect to close off the toilet area. So, if you are staying with someone else and like your privacy, the shower does not offer that. As for street noise, there was also construction going on on the street outside so it did get noisy sometimes during the day, I understand that is not something the hotel can control, but did want to point that out. For a majority of the time, we could only hear sirens and honking a majority of the time as we were on the third floor so, we had space between us and the street.

Hotel Munchen was excellent in every respect; location, price, staff, breakfast, etc. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Munich.

I have the hotel a "good" comfort level only because I can't sleep (especially in summer) under a duvet. This is not a problem that's unique to Hotel Munchen. It was the case with every hotel where I stayed in Germany (and elsewhere in Europe). I wish European hotels would try to accommodate travelers such as myself by providing a top sheet and a light blanket, so that we didn't have to turn the A/C as low as possible (and still wake up sweating under a duvet).

Hotel is nice and in Quite area, room clean and good size. location was perfect, less than 10 mints to train station and 15 mints walk to marienplatz. plenty of Halal food restaurant walking distance from the hotel and they are open until 11 pm. plus point is the ac in the room was working and cold much needed during summer

i didn't like the bathroom as it was too small plus the shower was completely transparent. not very convenient

Clean & well presented hotel. Looks very new. Shower was very powerful which we loved. Comfy beds and good sized room. Close to main station. Self service breakfast was tasty and had lots of choice. 5-10 minute walk to main train station, 3-5 min walk to nearest U Bahn station, 10-15 minute walk to Karlsplatz 20-25 walk to Marienplatz. This side of town is where Oktoberfest takes place.

Lots of building work in the area. Immediate area around hotel was a bit unkept but within 2-3 mins in any direction this changes. (Not hotels fault and hotel is spotless inside and out) Staff friendly and helpful.

Upbeat, helpful staff. The person behind the check in desk even walked out in the rain with us to point us toward a restaurant after making our reservations. Good selection at breakfast, with eggs made to order. Despite the breakfast area being busy and crowded, plenty of staff kept it clean and made sure that the buffet was always promptly replenished. The location was convenient for walking to the principal tourist areas.

Despite obvious soundproofing in the room, light sleepers would do well to request a room that doesn’t face the street: motorcycles, emergency vehicles, and bar customers gathered on the street below provided enough noise to be annoying at times.

As we were staying for 3 days, we booked a superior room and it was very spacious. The breakfast room was attractive and the breakfast good with hot bacon and scrambled egg, cheese and cold meats, grilled and salad vegetables, fruit salad and a good selection of bread including gluten free. There was a small bar near the reception. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. One staff member went out of her way to provide GF rolls and lactose free milk, made us coffee when we came in fraught, and put a bowl of fruit in our room when we returned for another night 4 days after our first visit.

On our second stay, (both booked and prepaid through Booking.com), we were only charged for our 2 breakfasts at 34 euro for two. When we previously stayed for 3 nights we were charged 177 euros. We queried this on our second stay when we realised there was no extra city tax and presumably we should have paid 102 euros for breakfasts. on our first stay. We had paid cash for any drinks we had at the bar. The receptionist could not offer an adequate explanation for this, nor check it out. So although we had enjoyed our stay, we left feeling ripped off.

My stay at Relexa Hotel München was truly wonderful. The room was not only comfortable but also elegantly designed, creating a relaxing environment. The hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient to explore the city's attractions. The facilities were top-notch, catering to all my needs. The staff's attentiveness and friendly service added to the overall positive experience. Thank you, Claudia and Peter.

Having a door in the bathroom would enhance the overall experience

Our room was a good size for 3, and even though we requested an extra bed, it still felt spacious enough. After reading some older reviews, we got a bit worried that there might not be a door to the bathroom, but to our relief, the door was there. All of the staff, that we have met, were exceptionally nice and helpful and breakfast was really nice too.

The only complaint from our side would be the lack of cupboard space. There was only one cupboard, with very few hangers.

The room was quite nice. It actually exceeded my expectations. I really appreciated the triple glazed windows to keep out the noise from the very busy street below.

I wish there had been a minibar. I also found this one lady working the reception to be a bit too frosty for my tastes. She was giving me an attitude because I didn't want to get on the elevator to come downstairs to meet my guest. I think she was overstepping her boundaries. If I call the front desk and say I'm ok with it, that should be the end of it. In fairness, the gentleman who helped me check out was the complete opposite - super friendly and helpful.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had an issue with hot water in our room due to a technical fault and were moved without fuss into another room. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The location is great for Marienplatz and the station. All round good hotel for what you pay. Highlight definitely the staff, Miriam and the team made the stay very easy.

The only very slight let down is that there is no private bar area. There is a bar but it is basically sat in reception. I'd expect a separate bar in a 4 star hotel.
