PLAZA Premium Parkhotel Norderstedt

Very spacious room with 2 double beds and 2 cots, which the staff was extremely friendly to arrange for us at no additional costs. The staff was very kind and helpful, the location is ideal, with supermarkets, coffee shops, pharmacy and more just a few steps away. The hotel is easily accessible by public transport.

The only inconvenience was that our room was located on the 3rd floor and the elevator only got till the 2nd floor, hence we had to carry the buggies via the staircase, but the staff helped us and also offered a storage room on the 2nd floor. However, that might have been to offer us a bigger room. Toiletteries were not provided, even after asking at the reception. In the bathroom there were soap and shampoo dispensers.

The parking was easy and the U station was very close as was the bus station. The reception staff were helpful. A very convenient location to visit the city - about 50 mins by U bahn,

Given that covid has diminished, the lack of room servicing needs to be considered. Nothing was done in terms of replacing towels, used tea and coffee facilities, toilet paper or tissues but the reception staff were very obliging and gave them out when they were asked, If rooms cannot be serviced which is difficult to understand since rooms were being cleansed and prepared between guests, then basic stuff should have been delivered to rooms and bins should have been emptied daily. If this improves when we return, it will be commented upon.

Breakfast was excellent and plenty of everything. Beds were very good and the room was clean. Staff was (very) nice.

Very busy during breakfast and we couldn't sit in the usual breakfast area and were placed in a somewhat cold and cheerless conference room. No elevator to our floor which was no problem for us but I can imagine for others that would be an unwelcome surprise. Not as close to the highway as I thought. (that's my mistake, I could have checked better)

- easily accessible - incredibly nice and helpful staff - the room was gorgeous and comfortable

- parking is a bit expensive - the balcony in the rooms are connected, which is strange. That makes leaving the windows or the door open uncomfortable, as another guest could just peer or walk in. - We were on the park side. There is a school (?) right there and it’s quite noisy while the kids have their breaks.

A short walk from station. Although in town centre, is a quiet location in a small park.

Breakfast had zero labelling on what was veggie/vegan. Staff perhaps a little too enthusiastic clearing empty plates at breakfast - felt somewhat hurried and created twice as much washing up than necessary for our breakfasts.

Extremely convenient location. There are supermarkets downstairs. There is a CORONA Test Centre on the Ground floor in the hotel lobby providing quick test with free of charge, very convenient for taking the test and obtaining the official test result needed for the hotel checkin-in. Free parking for hotel guests. Easy check in / out. Friendly hotel staff. The room is modern and clean with good facilities. 1 x Double bed + 1 x Single bed = Perfect for a family to stay. There is a computer with a printer and A4 papers in the lobby which can be used by the hotel guests with free of charge. This is particularly convenient and thoughtful.

Had a lovely stay here. The rooms are well designed and comfortable. Showers were great relaxation after an 8-hour drive and after all the traveling enjoyed one of the most delicious coffee I ever had at the hotel during breakfast.

It took a while to figure out the elevator, and since it was only one we had to wait a few times in line to get to and out of the room with the bags.

I met no staff, might not have gotten my room key and into my room, had it not have been for a very helpful German man, himself a guest. you need a better system. he spoke in German to the given phone no, and there was difficulty finding my booking and retrieving it, and I had checked in on line!

breakfast didn't convince me personally - more options for vegetarians / vegans would be appreciated, salt for the eggs would be nice

The hotel was perfect, the room was really big and comfortable. Also the reception was very helpful and friendly. When I visit Hamburg again I will stay in same hotel again.thanks for everything.
