NH Hamburg Mitte

The room was well sized, clean and the beds were comfortable. The connection to public transport was excellent with U2 taking you to Hauptbahnof Nord and U3 taking you to Bamberk from Christuskirche and Schlump respectievely. The staff were very helpful and entrance drinks and treats were lovely. The breakfast also offered a wide variety of cheese and the water and juice was very nice.

The bathroom was very small and it only offered one sink, not two shown in the picture. The room design was also completely different that was shown in the pictures. Also, the kettle was faulty which made the hot water leak. Other that these points, this was an great hotel and experience.

We arrived for a 2 night's stay to visit a friend close by whilst touring Europe on a motorcycle. The car park was free and felt secure as it had cameras and a barrier. The hotel is situated on a main road close to public transport. It has a 5 star feel about it and we were greeted very warmly at the reception. Our room was on the 5th floor and had a very clean shiny lift which even accessed the ground floor parking area, making it very easy to transport our luggage to the 5th floor. Our room was clean (although there was a layer of dust on some areas, which I wouldn't have expected to see in this hotel), it was comfortable and larger than most we have stayed in. It also had tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was also very clean & large with a walk-in shower. The shower was lovely, one of the best showers we have had the delight in using. The bedroom was large, bright and spacious. The wi fi as ok but not fantastic. We didn't eat at the hotel at all as we refuse to pay for breakfast especially ay 17 euros per person as we don't eat a lot at breakfast and there were ample places to get breakfast close by a lot cheaper. We ate out at 1 of the local restaurants instead (which there were many of). All in all, it was a fabulous hotel for our needs and the location was exactly where we needed to be. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent continental breakfast - two blocks from public transport - cafes and restaurants nearby - close to beautiful parks and gardens - even though i didnt take the offer, they offer you with free drinks when you dont ask for every day cleaning (more sustainable)

was not close to the conference venue where I had to walk every day - there was slightly noise in the room coming from the fridge and/or sometimes the shower on the top floor

It's basically what you expect from a chain hotel, which means: perfectly fine. That's not a bad thing, but we picked it for the location and the pet-friendliness, both of which were fine. The room was clean, the staff was helpful, and the parking (which you have to pay for) very handy, considering the location is pretty central.

The wifi was pretty bad, and you have to pay extra if you want faster speeds, which I think is a pretty bad ripoff. Please stop trying to upsell people on things that are no longer luxuries! Also the AC was broken, so the room was pretty hot and stuffy, but they gave us a fan. And tbh, I'm not a big lover of AC so I kind of preferred the fan + open window to overpowering AC.

Great location, two subway stations close by which facilitates. A especial tank you for Hani at the front desk, a nice gentleman always helpful, your assistance was highly appreciated, thank you from my family and I.

I think the hotle sould invest to have fast meals, sometimes you arrive late at noght with no intention to go for dinner and having the possibility to grab something simple to eat makes a difference.

- The location is great - several stops from the city center. Plenty of good restaurants nearby, and stations of two U-bahn lines are very close. - The room is small but cozy and comfortable. - The sound proof is so good that it was almost dead silent 🙂 And since the room was facing the backyard, there was no noise from the street. - The bed was comfortable and firm enough to support my back. I slept like a baby🙂 - A mini-fridge that lets you keep snacks safely. There was no kettle in my room at first, but is has been provided me by request.

- Dark stains here and there in the bathroom between tiles. Not sure if it was mold, but it looked suspicious. - It wouldn't hurt to have mosquito nets on windows, so it would be possible to sleep with windows open.

Very clean hotel with decent size rooms in a great location. Within walking distance to Sternschanze which is lively with great restaurants and bars. Medium price range - good value for money.

I like a good hotel bar but this one is a little bit boring, but again you are within walking distance to some great bars, so don't really need it.

We liked the location and the window insulation (no noise from the very busy street), as well as the size of the room, lighting and mattress.

When walking into the room, it is clearly noticeable that this used to be a smoking room many years ago. Also, no towel hooks for hand towels next to the sink, just one hanger for all towels next to the tub.

I can't fault anything here! We had a wonderful stay. A fantastic location with great amenities nearby, easy links to the rest of the city. Wonderful staff who couldn't do enough for us and a amazing room - we decided to treat ourselves to a suite and so glad we did!
