Everything corresponds to the photos. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. We stayed there for Spiel '22. There's been a free magazine with a promo card in the room. There's a bus stop nearby. You can get to Messe Essen by a direct bus, but would have to walk about 10 minutes from the bus stop to Messe. The reception helped us to get a taxi.

We stayed in October and it was a bit colder in the room that we would prefer. There was only one chair in the room for two. Mentioning this to other travellers just in case. It was super hard to get a taxi anywhere in the city. Better to ask to order a taxi from the hotel reception or take a bus. This is not the fault of the hotel and it didn't affect how I rate it.

The room was a good size and the bathroom was huge. The Reception staff were very friendly and efficient. Fortunately, although no dedicated disabled parking areas, I was able to find a spot close to the entrance to the hotel.

Despite a sign saying no smoking just outside the front door there always seemed to be a group of people smoking there. There were dozens of cigarette ends all over the floor and the smell of cigarettes was awful. The early morning cleaning staff were quite noisy when they came on duty, talking loudly. Although not really the fault of the hotel staff, a wedding party one night were using the entrance to the parking garage as a toilet which was very unpleasant. I found it unusual to have to pay extra for a disabled room.

Excellent location, close to transit, close to the Hauptbahnhof, Messe Essen, Berlinerplatz. Great reception staff, huge rooms, nice bathroom, great bed. The breakfast was nice, but needed more desserts.

The WiFi was really bad, I was on the 9th floor and barely had any reception. I received 2 SSID and still had trouble, barely any signal. I think the hotel needs to upgrade their routers.

Airconditioning, friendly staff, great beds, room size, no noise from other rooms and free parking available in the streets near the hotel.

Hygiene left al lot to be desired. One of the cups was not cleaned properly, but worse was the incredibly strong urine stench in the bathroom. Really disgusting. Complained at reception but, as there weren’t any other rooms available, I was told nothing could be done about it. Turned out someone had peed in the shower and it obviously had not been cleaned. After spraying it with some soap and water, the smell was ultimately gone but you wonder how it could have gone unnoticed by the cleaning staff.

The room was very modern and clean, check in was very easy and the staff were very friendly. The shower is nice and big and the hand soap and shower gel had an elegant scent. I particularly enjoyed finding water bowls for my dogs and a special “Don’t knock, there is a dog in here” sign in my room as I was traveling with my two dogs.

The only downside was that the room seemed to be poorly sound proofed and I could hear quite a bit of my neighbour’s conversation

Thee room was very comfortable, I loved the furniture, colors and design. The layout was very nice too. The bathroom was spacious but not too big. Everything was sparkling clean. The communication with the reception was great, they spoke english. The bar tender in the evening was super kind. Loved the location too. I walked home every day (5 days) from the inner city which took 20-40 minutes depending on the location. Was lovely to see Essen like this. Great town, I will be back for sure.

The breakfast was very tasty, when you got there in time... I was supposed to nd at 10:30, but around 9 things started to run out. When I asked for some eggs, they just told me there is no more. That was quite bad experience for a 15 euro breakfast. I had 5 breakfasts, 1 I did not get eggs at all at 9, 1 time I got the last of them at 8:45. Scrambled eggs. When I told the receptionist about it on checkout, he said that was very not okay, he said to take steps. So if I told them about it earlier there might have been a solution. Also the coffee from the machine was really not nice. I asked for filter coffee and they made it for me every morning. Would be nicer to just have filter coffee out there as an option per default.

Very close to Klinik Essen Mitte. Very friendly stuff. I was wondering before my stay whether it is an older type of hotel, but was modern bathroom, top bed and very clean

if you want to visit the city center you need to walk 25 mins or take the bus which needs 8min

Everything was good except for the fact that the room didn’t have a small refrigerator where one can store water especially during this summer period. Apart from that everything was good especially the hygiene of the rooms. Great staffs too.

No refrigerator in the rooms

Property well located and the room was clean. Comfortable bed and pillows for the good night sleep. Free WiFi for as many devices as you want. Bar with a few drinks and snacks downstairs, nice place overall.

The toilet was very noisy each time you flush, especially during the night. Was staying with the kids so was even scared to flush when they were asleep. When I say noisy, think of the airplane toilets. That was the sound. Other than that, shower, hairdryer and all you need was there.

Clean, comfortable and very polite staff.

Air conditioning did not work, we asked for assistance and we're told some one would come to check it but they never showed up. Also several electric outlets did not work.
