ITC Maurya, a Luxury Collection Hotel, New Delhi

The staff was courteous and service requests were handled promptly. Room was clean and had adequate supplies. The Towers room's size is comfortable and offers space to move around. As for food, the breakfast buffet was good and offered a good spread. We liked the golf bar and it's aesthetics too.

There were queues for entry into the pavillion restaurant for the breakfast buffet. Similarly, we had to wait for a table during evening happy hours even though two lounges were accessible to us. It may have been because of the weekend rush. The mattress could've been more comfortable. It was too soft.

The overall service was good, the staff was courteous and were prompt when asked for anything. The cleanliness and comfort of the room was beyond expectations. The dinner at the pavillion was delicious.

The checkout experience, I prefer to have express checkouts, where I could just drop the key and walk off, but, there wasn't any such facility at the hotel, I would had preferred that. While I was waiting in the check out line for the checkout, multiple hotel staff asked me about my staff, the first time it was okay, but, the second and third time, it became annoying.

The locality of the hotel is very pleasant, clean and safe for solo travel. I enjoyed the breakfast spread, which was a pleasant mix of Indian and Continental cuisine. The staff are very courteous and helpful at all times. I would definitely recommend a stay at the ITC Maurya at least once in a lifetime. It is an experience not to be missed!

There was only one incident that was less than perfect, and that was when I had to call reception twice to have a dinner tray cleared from my room because the attendant did not show up the first time.

I appreciated the facilities, such as the bar, Pavillan, the fitness center, the pool, and the lobby.

In the bar, I felt the staff was not particularly welcoming. For example, this afternoon, when I arrived, the bar was empty save for one or two individuals. The staff person came to me and asked what I wanted rather than welcome, where would you like to sit. Instead, he insisted that I sit at the bar instead of at a table. I had to insist that I would be sitting at a comfortable couch in front of a coffee table. Later, when other single individuals arrived, by were ushered to tables rather than to the bar. I felt since I am Black, I was treated differently.

the Hotel was very clean, the rooms had a selection of pillows to suit, the staff were incredibly but Garima , from the moment I checked in was available and always asking if there was anything that I needed, the food was fantastic , just to say that I have been coming to the ITC Maurya for the past 25 years and staying at least once or twice a year and the service is at the best it has been from all the staff there, from the security personal all the way to the great housekeeping staff that do a fantastic job in doing what they are the best at, would recommend highly to anyone who wants to experience a fantastic stay at the hotel.

I felt that the temperature in the hotel lobby, and corridors could have been a one degree higher as it felt quite cold there, but that could just be me 😀

Probably one of the best hotels you can book in New Delhi. And the area is great, and surrounded by greenery and none of the blight and chaos that takes up a large percentage of Delhi. On the other hand, it's an unrealistic bubble that removes you from the reality of Delhi for 90% of the people there. Guess it depends on why you're visiting. The hotel restaurants are incredible. Some of the best food I've had in all of India.

This is true with all hotels in India - five stars should be graded on a curve. So if a hotel is listed as five stars, don't compare it to a five star hotel in Paris, compare it to a four star hotel in India. If it's better, it's a five star hotel. The common areas are fantastic, but the rooms could use about $5,000 US each in renovations.

First of all, the hotel itself is stunning and with its many restaurants you don’t even have to leave the premises if you don’t want to and you would still have a nice experience. Secondly, the room that we booked had a great size (it was really specious) and since it was the 3 of us traveling, we could easily fit a second bed. The room was also really beautiful and had loads to offer. Thirdly, the restaurants i. the hotel were really good. I would especially recommend going to Bukhara - really amazing food!!!

However, the wifi connection is really bad - if you are traveling without internet like we did, I would not rely on the hotels wifi (which was breaking all the time and only sometimes worked when you are in the lobby at a certain place/seat). Further, we had to remind the hotel staff 4-5 times that we need an additional bed which was a bit annoying. But other than that, we had a really nice stay and since the location is great I would stay there again.

The staff and attentiveness of the staff were overall very professional and super polite. The staff on the Bell Counter were exceptionally helpful and very ready to help and assist any request. The general overall the staff were excellent My room and bathroom was good sized and the bed was super comfortable. The shower was hot and the pressure was excellent, made showering super relaxing! The Housekeeping staff were very polite, helpful and always attentive. Traffic is super busy in Delhi, however the location was pretty much 30-35 drive to most sight-seeing and markets Which was mostly expected The Hotel is located in Chanakypuri which is a Diplomatic area and kept very well and tidy compared to surrounding areas, its a lovely area to walk etc. Full and extensive buffet breakfast, but limited for a European pallet.

The breakfast and lunch was mainly geared around an Indian menu which was quite heavy for me, would be could to get some healthier options. Having stayed for 6 days it can get a little too much!

The staff were great, esp Grina who was incredible, who had made sure that that we were checked in efficiently, the room was a lot larger and Grina had arranged for a welcome back cake for us, as we were In the ITC Maurya the month before, she also introduced us to the restaurant on the top floor, which was quite beautiful, the room was clean. We spent the evening the the golf Bar, all the fantastic, looking after us. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and would recommend very highly

spacious rooms! courteous employees. was allowed early check in by 11:30 despite a busy day and late check out too. thank you Garima (intern), and Pratik - duty manager for making my stay comfortable and accommodating a late check out having understood my need of the hour. at breakfast they very kindly were able to make me vegan pancakes as instructed. seamless stay! will def return

the location of the pool- the restaurant where bF is served has the view of the pool- making it an intrusion into the privacy of those swimming. the amenities in the bathroom were sub par. the business center had a rule of not being able to print more than 4 pages and since I was there for work, need close to 10 pages but wasn’t complimentary - odd, coz I stayed in the Junior suite!
