ASTON Tropicana Hotel Bandung

We actually was assigned to a room on level 7. The next morning we moved as we smelled smoke in the corridor. The staff at every station are super helpful and friendly as well. Cleanliness is very good. The room is also spacious. The breakfast is all great. Also Lotus Restaurant serves delicious timbel and spaghetti. Dining room is bright and inviting. I hope the staff get good salary and benefits as they work so well.

We couldn't enjoy the pool as much as we like. It's closed at 6PM. And during we stay, there was a rennovation project nearby the fitness room so we couldn't go there at all. The toilet near dining room was not as clean as those near the lobby.

I like how comfy everything is. My room was allocated to the view of the pool and there are always families or children there, making the room more lively. The bed, pillow, and linen are very clean and my dust allergy did not get triggered at all. The toilet was also clean and full of useful amenities. Located in the middle of Cihampelas Road and almost right in front of Cihampelas Walk, it makes it possible to do small walks and refresh ourselves from our daily activities. Food in Bandung is always exceptional, the breakfast in the hotel was also very good. The breakfast has a more distinct and sharper flavor compared to other hotels which use milder seasoning to accommodate people of every taste preference.

We chose the Premier Room with Double Bed specifically on Booking.com, however, we got the Twin Bed instead, as the receptionist claimed that there is no description of such a thing on their system. Could be a Booking.com problem or theirs, I have no idea. My family has lived in the same room class before, however, we were surprised with how the room and less important amenities look, as they are old. We got the ceramic flooring instead of carpet, a TV that could have been manufactured from 2002, and an Extra Bed that was not up to the quality of the main beds (A very springy mattress and thinner linen & blanket).

The room is quite big and clean, walking distance to ciwalk, children love to stay long in the room (because we have connecting room), parkir area connected to fave hotel (side by side), friendly staff, the concierge also are really helpful.

The tv cable program sometimes are not very bright and not having a hdmi standard views, even one of our remote does not active its on/off, the lift perhaps should be spray it often.

Friendly stuff, great location, amazing air con, lovely bath tub with hot water. I had the fabulous room which I specifically requested. At the end of our stay, I left my earings upon checkout and the staff were kind enough to mail them to my house afterwards.

It took 45 mins for us to be checked in. The wifi was not perfect, connection trouble here and there. But the rest of our stay went amazing.

the electric room key must be improved, the cleanliness of equipment such as electric water heaters must be maintained with new items every now and then so that the dirt that sticks to it is gone

Really good hotel. Strategically located in the heart of Bandung. All of the staff are nice and gave a really warm welcome. The room was great, comfortable, and spacious. I had a chance to try the free gym and sauna which are decent. I will definitely be coming back here for my next stay. Maybe we will bring along some other relatives too.

Located in a busy Cihampelas street full of fashion outlets and restaurants. A huge shopping mall is located just accross the street. What I like of staying in this kind of old-style establishment is that they have bigger rooms and beds, compared to newer hotels.

Breakfast could have been better in variations, but maybe it was because I stayed amidst the pandemic so everything is less than normal.

The staffs are very nice and helpful. They are also polite and quick to act. I really enjoy my stay here!

They do not provide instant laundry (you have to wait until tomorrow's evening). The cleanliness of the room and the bathroom can be improved (a lot of dust in the room and some stain in the toilet)

Good location at Cihampelas and just across Ciwalk for some good shopping and strolling. The room is spacious with 2 twin beds and is big enough for my family.

The room needs more power outlet to allow cellphone charging and remote working atmostphere with laptop etc.
