La Boheme, Rooms and Coffee

Many +: Very comfortable beds, the suite with the balcony is worth the extra money, rooftop restaurant/bar is fabulous (and wait staff here is very kind/food is delicious), hotel is designed well and very photogenic, location is in a busy area (but quiet side road), superb view from all sides; good value, laundry is good value/good service, all information is very clear in the room

Missing some basics in the rooms (coffee/tea, mugs, kettle, hand soap, small towels), some staff do not speak English (not a problem... I live overseas) and maybe could make an effort to communicate with translator apps, could be a little cleaner if vacuum cleaners were used *Some minor improvements to be made, but I recommend! If I came back to Jakarta, I would stay here again.

The room is very comfortable and modern They provide different options for breakfast (nasi goreng, mi goreng, french toast, eggs, cereals and bread and jam) I used laundry service as well and it is quite convenient (takes 24h) Location is quite convenient. It seems that it is an area where a lot of small hotels and guesthouses are being built. Rather than providing water in plastic bottles, they have refilling stations at each floor.

At the café (ground floor) there are several mosquitoes as there is a nice small garden in front of the building. However, I didn't have any in my room.

Great location. Nice big room and the idea of a water jug in the room with refilling stations in the corridors is really good and handy. Not only from an environmental perspective but also convenience. Breakfast was included with my stay, so nice to be able to walk down in the morning and have a coffee before starting the day. They also offer very affordable and delicious meals as a room service option to the room for only 40K and includes an ice tea.

The bathroom was fine, just a little small and pokey compared to the room. At night there was a little noise coming from above and you could hear furniture being moved.

Excellent location, laid back atmosphere, welcoming staff. Location was great for me, as it is at the walking distance from the airport train as well as from the Grand Indonesia Mall. View from my room was absolutely spectacular, and I appreciate huge windows.

The policy of retaining the deposit of Rp 100.000 is ridiculous for a hotel of this price range. Alternatively, you can also leave your passport or other document, but still, is it really essential for the hotel? And in my case it was a pain in the neck, as it was my last day in Indonesia, and I had precisely Rp 100.000 for the remaining little cash expenses, which I had to deposit, and then to use the ATM again, pay the commission etc, as I was uncomfortable with leaving the passport at the reception. A la carte breakfast is largely overpriced, but there are no other acceptable options in the vicinity, so take it or leave it.

I loved the décor, with natural elements everywhere (wood shelves, cork signboard, sisal basket, rattan stools in the room), the central corridor with openings through all the floors so that light from the transparent roof reaches the ground floor. The carafe in the room and the water dispensers in the corridors are a great idea for unlimited drinking water supply. I enjoyed their coffee and pastries. The rest of their menu is okay, they are not a restaurant so I can't complain about the lack of options for raw veggies (my personal preference), I just ordered salads online from outside.

Internal soundproofing needs to be improved. I could hear the corridor phone whenever it rang, and people slamming doors. The area has sub-standard mobile coverage (this is not the hotel's fault, however).

Cute and nicely decorated boutique hotel, in a green and calm area of Jakarta. Roof terrace was a big plus for us: cool to have some drinks and snacks in the evening. Bed was comfortable, room was super clean and staff friendly. Salty breakfast option was great (rice with meat).

- Rooms are not really sound proof, you can hear almost every sound of the hallway. We had a room next to the kitchen (top floor) and roof terrace. There was a party at the roof terrace in the evening so we couldn't sleep. The kitchen received breakfast orders by telephone, which rang loudly from 7 in the morning. So a little advice would be to ask for a quite room if you are a light sleeper. - Sweet breakfast options could be improved.

Beautifully and cozy hotel in the middle of the city. Quite close to the train station that connects to the airport which is very convenient if traffic is crazy again in Jakarta and you want to go to the airport or vice versa. Comfy bed, fast wifi. The shower amenities smell quite good! Rooftop is nice as well.

People talking loud in the hallway can be heard very prominently in the room. Also beware that there is a mosque nearby, so you will hear prayers several times a day. Breakfast is very small and has limited options.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was very clean and modern and was beautifully decorated. There is a water cooler at the end of the hall and a free flask to get fresh, cold water which was a nice touch. The hotel has a cafe attached that served lovely cake and coffee. We were also able to chill in the cafe in the evening before our late train!

Unfortunately, there was an active building site outside the hotel right beside our room which impacted our stay negatively. There was a lot of noisy hammering and sawing which went on until relatively late at night and started early in the morning (just after 7am !?) which woke us up much earlier than we had planned. The hotel obviously can't help the noise of the building site. However, the shouldn't be placing guests in rooms so close to the noise and if they absolutely have to, they should be advising the guests of the issue at check in and asking if this is ok/if they would prefer a room at the opposite side of the building. The WiFi also cut out several times throughout our stay.

Really nice hotel for everyone who is looking for a stay in the city centre of Jakarta. Very friendly staff and amazing coffee in the morning. The hotel is modern and stylish and has beautiful rooftop terrace.

The room was nice, unfortunately a bit of smell (probably because of wet weather) and the bathroom wasn't perfectly clean. You can hear the noise from the hallway and other visitors inside the room.

Great place, with cute cafe. we were welcomed by two iced coffees. The staff were really friendly. Rooms cute and clean. Water fountain outside room to refill water bottle. There was also a rooftop bar/restaurant. We didn’t try it, but it looked busy!

Slightly humid in the room, but okay with aircon on. TV signal not great either, but not a problem if you’re not wanting to watch Tv.
