Shangri-La Jakarta

WE LOVEDTHE STAFF AT THIS HOTEL VERY FRIENDLY. WELCOME US AND GAVE BALLOON AND CHOCOLATE TO OUR KID AS WE ARRIVED CHECK IN & OUT SUPER FAST I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE AN SPECIAL THANKS TO (Robby & Aer) THEY WERE SERVING US EVERY MORNING AT BREAKFAST AREA AND LOOK AFTER US TREAT US LIKE VIP LOBBY AREA SMELL VERY NICE POOL AREA BIG AND CLEAN AMAZING SPECIALS AREA FOR KIDS TO PLAY AT POOL

I WENT DOWN TO HAVE MY BREAKFAST 2ND DAY AND I WAS WEARING SLEEVELESS T-SHIRT THEN THE MANAGER CAME TO MY TABLE AND SAID THAT GUEST CAN ONLY WEAR SLEEVELESS AT WEEKEND'S I WAS SO SHOCKED ABOUT THAT RULE IN HOTEL AFTER WE FINISHED OUR BREAKFAST THEY GOT US A SMALL APOLOGIES CAKE BECAUSE THEY KNOW I FELT BAD ABOUT IT

The pool was exceptional because there was a water playground, 3 lifeguards, and floaties. Service was also great

The check in could have been quicker especially because i already booked through booking.com and i didn’t understand why they needed to see my husband’s ID and my kids’ birthdays (the reception took a photo of their IDs). Both my kids are still very young (grade school & kindergarten) so it was very obvious they were young and needed to stay in the same room as parents

Breakfast and dinner buffet with huge variety of food and good quality. Room very quiet. No noise from cars or room service. Thick carpets and good windows help for noise-cancelling. Room service staff polished my shoes and gave me listerine. Restaurant staff is very friendly and they remembered my name the other days although there are many guests. Good gym for a hotel and sauna and cold pool and hot jaccuzzi too. Outdoor swimming pool is nice too.

The room was great with a bathtub. The bathrobe and slippers were very comfortable. Free drinking water was provided in generous amounts. What was under rated I would say is the ease of controlling the air-conditioning. So many other hotels use a very ineffective thermostat like control which in my experience, is not the best to use.

Amenity kit could've been better if there was cotton pads. The hairdryer air funnel was broken so it couldn't stay attached but i'm just nitpicking at this point. The bed was more towards the stiff side.

Nice hotel with the expected Shangri-La standards. (like beautiful woodwork in the elevators, for instance.) All the staff is very friendly and helpful even trying to anticipate your needs. The room was also without any complaints - good size, nice view, comfy bed, huge desk table, extra sitting area, nice bathroom with tub and shower separately. The breakfast buffet has so many options that one would need a week to try it all out. (and the quality is also very high.)

everything :) to pick one it is d exceptional staff attention from the lobby to Satoo to swimming pool to room service, luar biasa, my children were spoilt and my wife felt comfortable. We had an incredible weekend stay to celebrate my 1yo turning 2yo :) on his second birthday in Satoo during brekkie the staff lead by Pak Dedi Supriyadi provided a nice surprise for my 2yo :) omg! my son was blown away he became became so malu :) ..... the staff in Satoo very attentive not just the unplanned birthday cheers but just in general, so friendly good. THANK YOU VERY MUCH Pak Dedi & your Satoo team.

nothing for me to nit-pick.....

I really like to stay at Shangri-La, we booked 2 room for staycation, the room is very big, we asked connecting door due to 2 room booked and hotel can fulfill our request. Check in very fast, WIFI is very fast, all facilities are working properly from hair dryer, TV, cable plug , lighting, toilet amenities, and best part is they offer me to upgrade the room with additional privilege however we only stay 1 night then we think to try another time. Due to heavy rain, unfortunately we can not try the swimming pool. Satoo restaurant provides variety breakfast menu, this resto is very famous, the taste, the food , the waitress all of them are excellent! I will stay again in Shangri-La for sure. The hotel also implement high healthy protocol to ensure all guest are safe. Thank you Shangri-La for nice staycation.

Nothing, excellent service as five star hotel!

I have not yet checked out, am at d breakfast restaurant Satoo having breakfast with my family, this place is so alive its fantastic, service stupendous, waiters/waitresses/chefs, all proactive, such a huge improvement since my last stay pre-covid...... d check-in process d staff service was welcoming friendly kind accommodating to my request in my booking for an early check-in if available because I had to drop off my family n rush off for a day's meeting. Feels so good to be staying here. I really can't fault anything right this moment, sure I can nitpick but I won't. Really good to be staying here, my family especially love it.

I can't think of anything at this moment, nothing really, I'm truly enjoying d moment.

wow this is shangri-la, we really like all the facilities, a big swimming pool with a mini water park, a child-friendly playground, making children very happy. the breakfast menu is very complete and the taste is also very good. all the staff from the lobby, check in, room service, restaurant, and at the pool are very nice and very helpful. a large car park area, the location to public transportation is also very easy to reach. if you are with your family, we highly recommend this hotel.

there are no complaints for facilities and staff, it's just that during the check out process there are only 4 officers on duty, even though there should be 7 officers who can serve, thus making the check out process take a long time. but maybe because of covid all officers have not worked 100%.

Shangri-la has set a very high standard for staying comfortability and customer services Miss Sheena personally has been so helpful in preparing surprise for our daughter’s birthday, even arranging a vegan cake I’m so grateful for her&her team♥️ We have a wonderful time during our staycation and impressed by the cleanliness all over the area The swimming pool and kids waterpark are very nice, and not forget to mention the lifeguard who was sprightly helping me and my daughter when we’re almost drowned 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thank you shangri-la Will come back for sure!
