RIMBA by AYANA Bali

The hotel has a huge and very green territory. You can even meet monkeys on your way to the beach. The stuff is very nice and helpful. One can move around the territory by open buses which comes frequtently. Breakfast offers lots of dishes of international cuisine.

1. The worst problem of Rimba and Ayana is poor taste of food served in most restaurants. They can even make a simple burito untasty in Mexican restaurant on the roof-top. The only exception is breakfast where anybody can find food to his taste. 2. Beach is nice but with little facilities. 3. There were some signs of poor mentanance in the room.

Excellent resort, will definitely be back again, the use of all 3 hotels meant we didn’t have to leave the resort and we still didn’t have chance to do everything on offer. top quality service everywhere we went.

Food and drink are very expensive! if you are eating and drinking in the hotel it’s very easy to build up a large bill. $9.50 for a Bintang and $7 for a coke is a little too much.

Where do I begin? From the moment we drove in to the property, to the time we left and got onto the plane, we were blown away by our experience at Rimba/Ayana. Hotel and property is stunning, facilities and amenities are top notch, the pools, water features and gardens are impeccable, the restaurants and bars within the hotels are fantastic, the cleanliness of the rooms and turn down service was amazing, the staff were out of this world. We felt so welcomed by the hospitality we received from the moment we stepped in and were even pinching ourselves from the lovely thank you card and gifts we received from the staff. We have been recommending this place to all our friends, family and colleagues. Everyone asks me where my photos are from and I tell them it's all from the ONE incredible property. Just perfection from start to finish. I have not come across a hotel like Rimba/Ayana before. Truly the BEST experience we have ever had. We will 1000% be visiting again. We are very grateful.

I would usually easily answer this but I genuinely could not fault this place. Everything was top notch! If I HAD to say one thing, I would pick out that the closet/cupboard doors in our room were opening out towards the front door, as opposed to opening towards the window (for light) which made it difficult to walk past to the bathroom, and also made it quite dark to see inside the closet, but this probably can't even be changed unless there is a huge upgrade done to rooms and then I'd suggest slide in doors! Everything else was just perfect. Staff are amazing. SO grateful for it all.

Every single member of staff we came across shon with happiness which made our time that little bit more special. The detail and care the bar staff, waiters/es, housekeeping made was second to none that I’ve witness before. Our room was great and perfectly cleaned daily. Food was also very good and our personal favorite was To’Ge for food and Unique Bar for the evenings.

I do have to say that I did find drinks in particular expensive. When a small beer costs the same as an appetizer or even some of the main courses it doesn’t sit great with me. Especially as it is a local Balinese beer. But, I won’t let that cloud over what was a great few days at Rimba.

The pools are absolutely amazing, there were so many at the RIMBA hotel where I didn't feel the need to go to the other resorts to check out the other pools. Very well positioned to the rooms and large variety of pools to use, very clean and the pH balance they ensure is absolutely amazing, this was the only pool in Bali where my eyes didn't burn like mad as i swam underwater with my eyes opened. The Japanese restaurant there when I went, the rice bowls were great ($12.50 AUD a bowl) and the teppenyaki food was really nice as well ($200 AUD per person.... yeah read the negatives I added). Rock bar is nice to have a quick drink and chill as you look at the sunset, so definitely check it out.

Be prepared to pay to play. I stayed during an off season and when COVID had decimated the tourism industry so I felt like i had a great deal with the room, however the food is very costly. For example a bowl of Pho (Vietnamese beef noodle soup) inclusive of the exorbitant tax + service charge makes a bowl easily $25 AUD. That's premium priced stuff. I recommend if you have a motorbike (or plan to hire one) get one as there's parking in the RIMBA, use that to go out and eat dinner outside if you don't want to pay the premium prices. While i know if you stay at a 5 star be ready to also pay 5 star prices for everything, just an observation for those who may not want to pay that much for food.

Expansive property with plenty restaurants and facilities. The Rock Bar is fantastic! Good breakfast variety and you could go to any of the breakfast places at Rimba and Ayana. The pools are really good, though mind you that the one at the cliffs is adult only. The rooms are big and the balconies have a lounge seater to relax.

The staff sometimes was a bit unorganized. There was no light on the balconies except for a small lantern that was way too dim. The area behind Kubu Beach could benefit from a good clean up. We collected quite a bit of trash, but there was still much left.

In all the restaurants cook very well, nothing to compare to international hotel chains where food is not a priority. Food was certainly well prepared from simple food to something more elaborated. Swimming pools very nice, staff awesome, and the beach really beautiful. Also the Rock Bar is pretty cool and in general everything is carefully thought for a wonderful experience

The standard room is small, the individual beds are quite narrow (not queen size). We travelled with a kid (below 12yo don't pay) and we shared one of the beds, and it was not comfortable at all. If we know the beds are so narrow, we had looked for another option.

The hotel was great! Everything was reqlly beautiful, great views and sooo many great pools! Fun to walk around in the huge area. There's a shuttle to the other areas like the ayana hotel and it's really comfortable. Great gym, breakfast was very generous and delicious. Every person in the staff was nice and welcoming. Everything was really clean The hotel is so big that it never felt full or crowded. The room was huge and very comfortable One of the pools is adult only which is nice

There are many restaurants in the hotel, we dined in 3 and the food could be better and not so expensive

The facilities and amount of pools was amazing. Our bed was very comfortable and loved catching the tram bus to the other parts of resort and being able to use all fascilities.

I didn't like that when we arrived, the third room we booked on booking.com was not visible in your system. I had booked the third room months ago and communicated via the chat with your staff. I asked for two king beds and one room with two beds, your room confirmed via chat but when we arrived there was three rooms each with single beds. That was dissappointing that your staff hadn't done what was requested.
