Adiwana Svarga Loka - A Retreat Resort

The friendliness of Balinese people floors me every time and this place was no exception. Extremely friendly and courteous staff ready to assist in any possible way and always smiling. Pita at the front desk had very happily assisted me in reducing a day from my booking. The Hotel looks like built in an old temple located on the side of a hill, with a river flowing on the side and greenery in abundance. You get the feeling of staying in a heavily forested area and yet so close to the city. Peace and tranquility is unmatched. A perfect location for a wellness retreat. The property boasts of multiple yoga studios , a spa , wellness centre and and mediation hall. Clean and big rooms , no TV though and not required , breakfast was good, i did dine in one night and food was good as well. Just walk around and soak the nature in its purest form.

The place is a paradise. The resort is better than the photos. You are in the middle of the jungle, and you can feel a beautiful atmosphere. The staff was extremely kind and friendly, specially Kan Merta, who was very kind and made me feel right at home. As a solo woman traveller, I always felt safe in this resort. The spa and well-being are excellent. Their treatment exceeded my expectations. The food at the restaurant was delicious and at a reasonable price. They made good coffee. Everything was clean and comfortable. There was a free yoga class every morning. Thank you for a lovely stay 🙏🏻

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Adiwana Svarga Loka in Bali, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. The hotel's location struck the perfect balance between being close to the city center and allowing me to immerse myself in Bali's soul. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. One of the highlights for me was the breakfast, which was included in the stay. The options were plentiful and the food was not only tasteful but also reflected the local flavors and cuisine. It was a fantastic way to start each day and fuel up for new adventures. The staff at Adiwana Svarga Loka were friendly, accommodating, and attentive, making sure that all my needs were met throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality added an extra touch of comfort and made me feel truly welcome. Overall, Adiwana Svarga Loka is a hotel that captures the essence of Bali while offering convenience and comfort. The atmodphere of the place, the lush vegetation, great location - close to Zest, Alchemy, yoga studios, 5-7min motorbike from Ubud Center but you can also walk. Delicious breakfast, great facilities: spa, 2 pools, yoga, afternoon tea, tirta ritual, healer, learning to play a balinese instrument ... The staff was very friendly and helpful, smilling all the time; they took me to a healer ( real one not comercial nor tourist scam) and it was a great experience! The staff teached me to play an instrumemt - thank you very much to all of you for your hospitality and kindness - Purnama, Pita, Pande, Gaury, Merta, Bawa, Rista, Ratna and Wijana :)

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is some of the best I've experienced, and always up for a chat with a solo traveller. They were always so lovely! The peaceful ambience of the resort and the location is perfect if you want to go to Ubud town or organise a day trip to see the local sights. Also if you want to stay at the resort and relax by the pool or do a yoga class then this is the place for you. Such a lovely stay here! I'll be back!

Aircon in the room was a little light, but opening up the windows and keeping the mosquito net over the bed sorted that out!

It is a beautiful property tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud which is just a few minutes away. Our junior suite was large and lovely. We had an open air shower over looking the jungle and a bathtub as well on our balcony. We loved our room but I’m not sure all rooms are this way. It feels like your living in a jungle and you can always hear the river gushing right outside. The massage at the spa was good. The staff is friendly and great. The breakfast (which is all-day) had a wide variety of options which were all very good. Other food at the restaurant was average.

The property definitely needs upkeep. We were ok with it being a bit wild and jungle-like but it is really in need of care and repair. I’m sure it was a great property in its hey days but we felt like we paid a fair bit for the condition it is in now. We were left underwhelmed by the long walk down to the lower pool which is not in great condition. Just stick to the restaurant pool.

This is a magical hotel in amongst the jungle with old hindu statues and water features and a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of Ubud centre. The location is great, close to the ridge walk and well positioned to go north to the rice paddies and temples, or walk to local restaurants. The staff are incredibly helpful, they helped us rent a motorbike at a very reasonable price and the spa treatment is so relaxing and great value. The breakfast is great to have with good variety of choices. Overall the hotel is a little rustic within the jungle but very clean and does have luxurious elements, including the two pools, bath robes, nice bathroom and lots of different areas to explore, including a temple on site.

It advertised a free airport shuttle, but when I called to arrange it they informed me that is not running anymore post the pandemic, so I think they should remove it from the advert. However, we did arrange a paid shuttle via the hotel on departure which was a nice spacious car that got us to the aiport way ahead of schedule.

This property is so beautiful. The photos doesn’t do justice to the hotel. The landscape is magnificent. Imagine having breakfast with the sound of river water flowing down below. We were lucky to bump into the owner Ibu Dewi and she surprised us with an anniversary cake. Such beautiful thoughtful gesture. Another advantage of this hotel is that it’s on a higher ground so it’s very cooling and peaceful. We had a memorable stay. Thank you.

+full day breakfast -you get to choose from a several options (about 10?), you also get a croissant and a fruit platter. rooms are spacious +very comfortable beds, we slept like babies amazingly friendly and helpful staff, we even got our scooter booked and delivered last minute thanks to the help from the reception staff +the vibe of the place - so calm, relaxing, it is close to the centre but not right on the main street so you feel a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the town +"hidden" swimming pool -it is not exactly hidden and there are arrows pointing the way but it is a short walk downstairs so not many guests venture there, you can have the pool for yourself +great food in the restaurant

breakfast Balinese style coffee - you get it by default and it is really bad, HOWEVER, if you ask for the one from the coffee machine you get to drink a nice one! morning music - it wakes you up around 7 am (you can easily hear it if you are staying in a room near the restaurant) and it keeps on drilling a hole in your head as you eat your breakfast. It is a monotonous tone, sounds like an alarm clock that someoen has failed to switch off. Every day, the same, repetetive sounds. I believe that as a "healing resort"in Bali they should be able to fine hundreds of calming tracks that are pleasant to ears.

Breakfast excellent. Every day different. The avo toast with poach egg was delicious. The eggs florentine as well. Dinner, a la carte, not bad. (only one meal) Massage service was great. Yoga session very popular, even for beginners. Pools very nice but i didn't use.

Location quite close to Ubud, but not a nice walking distance. Dangerous road. Use Taxi. Taxi service from hotel very costly. Taxi can be arranged from just the corner at convenient prices for touring all day around temples, monuments and rice fields.
