The hotel seems friendly, polite staff clean and tidy, A little too far away from the city centre a taxi into the city cost 25 euros you could get it cheaper depending on where you wanted to go to in the city.

Breakfast was optional if you wanted it this it was paid for with 100 euros prepaid when checking in the property added to your bill. Our friends booked on the wilder website and asked for the same room as us the popular double paid the same price as we did on booking.com but they received a king size room an upgrade if you like. Where as booking though a third party you get the room you asked for No incentives.. A taxi to the airport cost 50 euros and there was a mention of an extra 5 euros if you needed to get there quicker by using a tunnel?

Really gorgeous townhouse. Even though it was small, the room was absolutely stunning and spotless clean. The decor was beautiful, and I even took notice of the lovely music playing in reception. When we arrived we got a free room upgrade, we were welcomed with a lovely note and a little treat in the room, and a complimentary g&t. While we were out there was a turn down service. We came back from our concert to a little chocolate on our pillows and books to read. Staff were lovely, location was ideal (10 min Uber to 3arena)

Parking was limited but it wasn’t a huge problem. Street parking is cheap and the app is very handy

Great hotel communication & travel advice. A welcome G&T. Friendliness of staff (Danny in particular) & cleanliness of the whole hotel, rooms & grounds. Breakfast was Fantastic! Location was in a very pretty & convenient area. Close to a main tram stop & 25 min walk to O'Connell Monument, through St Stephen's Park. Great experience of our first time in Dublin. Recommend staying at the Wilder Townhouse. Only downside was our bed in room 312 was a little hard. We had trouble with opening/locking the door - soon sorted and lock 'recharged'. Deluxe King Rooms worth the extra euros. Thanks team 😁 From Jane & 9 buddies, UK

THE CUTEST BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN DUBLIN CITY. GREAT LOCATION 2 MINUTES FROM LUAS STOP, 5 MINUTES FROM STEPHEN'S GREEN PARK. STAFF WERE AMAZING THROUGH OUR ENTIRE STAY. EARLY CHECK IN, SURPRISE BIRTHDAY TREAT, ROOM SERVICE, BED TIME BOOK AND CHOCOLATES FOR MY 8 YEAR OLD. STUNNING ROOM. QUIET. COMFORTABLE BEDS. GREAT WARM SHOWER. BREAKFAST NEXT MORNING WAS EXEPTIONAL. THE ATTENTION WE RECEIVED FROM STAFF WAS EXEPTIONAL. DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE THIS PLACE. ELLA WOULD LIKE TO SAY SPECIAL THANK YOU TO THE GIRLS ON RECEPTION.

Beautifully restored building with a comfortable bed in the room and charming and attentive staff

The room was cramped, with only a very narrow space between the bed and the shelving where tea/coffee and the safe were. lovely as they were to look at, the tea-cups were not suitable for making a cup of tea directly in - too small but wide at the top so spillage inevitable - & no where to leave the teabag except in the saucer (ensuring a dripping cup) or in the water glass. Also, when we got back from dinner in Drummond Street, we wished the bar could have stayed open a bit later than 11pm…but that is a minor quibble as it was open all the rest of the time.

This staff and property were well above our expectations. We arrived at the property well before check in at 5:30 AM our room was not ready but they provided us with another room to freshen up and relax after our flight. When we returned after some sightseeing our bags were moved to our room. The rooms were well appointed, clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect we were more in a quiet residential area but very close to all the activities restaurants and sights that Dublin had to offer. The staff were very helpful in providing information and where to go and what to see. Clara booked our train tickets for a day in Galway. She was very pleasant and helpful. The Breakfast was done 1st class the china, presentation and food were better than expected. A word of warning make sure you are very hungry before you order the Full Irish Breakfast it was delicious but very big. I would have been happy with half the amount. They organized all our Taxis all we had to do was enjoy our stay. They took all the anxiety and stress away. When we checked out it was well before breakfast service began but they had pastry, coffee and fruit waiting for us thanks to Antohin, Jacobs, and Birju. Mazlum was the bartender and he made excellent drinks and provided conversation. Senka, Emel, Rachel and Bianca worked breakfast and were always there with a smile and fantastic service. Anthony, Cian and especially Clara at the front desk were amazing. If I forgot to mention anyone I apologize. I do not know who was responsible for cleaning the rooms but they were exceptional and timely. You will not find a better hotel or friendlier staff than this. Thank you to everyone at the Wilder!

If you are asking what could have been better The weather. If the hotel could have done something about that I'm sure they would.

This was a real treat for us. An immaculate renovation of a historic building with quirky touches. We were upgraded to a suite with two fireplaces and a stunning shower room. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. the references to the history of the building - previously a home for retired governesses - was delightful. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. perfect location a short walk from everywhere in Dublin but tucked away in a quiet street. I would definitely stay again.

It was expensive but you get what you pay for.

Quiet but convenient location, handy for trams into town and close to airport bus drop off. Bedrooms compact with limited access either side of bed but comfy bed, rain shower and mid height hand held shower rose having powerful pressure. Cleaning and laundry of high quality. Buffet breakfast with plenty of choice and quality products but coffee a bit of a let down, percolator style Nespresso with milk jug on table, served in cups and saucers, as in the bedroom. Would have preferred cafetière and better coffee to wake up to.

The location was great with lovely walks around in a nice area of Dublin. The room was small but felt fresh and airy with its high ceiling. There was a very high standard of cleanliness. The water power in the shower was great. The decor was so funky and yet had a classy feel. I was excited with every corner I turned to be wowed by the furnishings and art work. There was such a fabulous atmosphere ,the staff were so so lovely and attentive. The whole experience was very relaxing . I would highly recommend a stay in The Wilder.

There was nothing about The Wilder that disappointed me.

Beautiful hotel in a good location. Nicely decorated and very clean. Welcoming staff. Lots of complimentary things (water, chocolate, drinks at the bar)... it is so rare now days and very much appreciated, made us feel welcomed. We would definitely stay at the Wilder again.

Rooms were small, with no desk, drawers or closet. We only stayed for 2 nights so that was okay but for a longer stay it would be an issue. Also, there was not a single shelf to put our toiletries on in the bathroom. We ended up using the window seal and things kept getting knocked down.
