Breakfast was excellent! And the whole staff are truly nice, flexible and helpful. Señora Carla is a powerhouse and the two young guys that help her are fantastic! The piano and the convenient pool. Lovely area and parking lot!

I think the hotel is very practical and has a lot of character but some renovations are needed. Paint, flooring, lighting, clearing out areas with clutter, etc.

We visited this hotel as part of our journey from central Italy to Germany and back to Denmark. The location is beautiful, and not too far off from main roads. You can combine a visit here with a trip by car across e.g. one of the mountain passes, passing by the Lugano lake, etc. - all of which is stunningly beautiful! The hotel is in a quiet location, parking is free and so is charging for electrical vehicles (two Porsche location chargers are available in the parking lot). The city itself is small, but interesting, and the surroundings are beautiful. There's an included rooftop pool in the modern building (family rooms).

We stayed in one of the old / traditional apartments. The apartment had nice, spacious rooms and a beautiful, classical setting. It seemed that some of the rooms could do with a bit of renovating, though (nothing critical at all, only optical), and cleaning could be better - e.g. below the beds where dust was very visible.

Very nice and very special. The main building is already extraordinairy..The room is large and the bath very nice and spacious. The main building is unique and the personnel friendly and relaxed. The sidebuilding with its roofgarden and pool looks like a art museum. Your have to see it because difficult to describe..It feels like in the middle of nature and mountains although in the middle of the village. The whole arrangement is impressive with a lot of little details.

A little maintenance like cutting some green covering the windows would be nice but not important.

We stayed for one night. Because of traffic coming from Switzerland, we were delayed quite a bit. But the staff were all very kind, and they were able to accommodate us for dinner on very short notice. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and in style like only Italians know how to achieve. The facility is lovely, old building mixed with very modern amenities, and a lovely breakfast garden. Italy at it's best.

It was perfect!

The hotel is a refurbished factory. The owners kept the "industrial" style and added beautiful art pieces. You are surrounded by art at all times. There is a swimming pool on the roof top with excellent view. The breakfast is exceptional served in a ball room surrounded by garden and hidden spots for a walk. Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant exceeded our expectations. We will return definitely.

This place is so special for us ,very welcoming the owners are amazing people ,very helpful and always ready to fulfill any requests.Super hard working people big respect for them.The place is very arty , brilliant design in a huge establishment. Surprisingly huge place you can lost easily ...perfect for weddings and celebrations.There is a swimming pool on the top floor with perfect view.Rooms are very modern and well designed.Huge terrace.

We stayed for three nights. Everything about this place is magical including the family owning it and all of the wonderful staff. It is like living in an extraordinary art gallery, with new things to be discovered every day - the attention to detail, mix of different kinds of art and beautiful, beautiful amenities and rooms are sure to make us want to come back anytime. It's the most extraordinary stay we've ever had. Additionally, the breakfast is outstanding and the location is absolutely brilliant for exploring Lake Como, Lago Maggiore and even Lugano - absolutely nothing we could find at fault - Grazie Milllllle!!!

Everything was perfect, truly nothing we could complain about.

Good location for a short break, to play golf in Varese and for our route onwards to Switzerland. The restaurant was excellent, with great service, lovely surroundings and delicious food. A good breakfast, all served personally. The building has a great history. The property has private parking. The bedroom was clean and comfortable.

No coffee making facilities in the room or complementary water which would have been nice.

this is indeed a hidden diamond. Beautiful hotel with a really spacious family room -we loved how it was split in 2 which meant we could have an adult section. The staff/owner is super friendly and also recommended a great restaurant to us as their own was occupied with a wedding. The rooftop pool was the a huge hit with the kids (and parents )

We never got the WiFi to work but that was not a huge disaster

Nice place to stop on while on the go. The pool is a nice plus, while the rooms are fairly spacious. Breakfast in the garden was enjoyable and staff friendly. Room was quiet.

Quite some walking to get from the room to the breakfast area / out. Overall though not a problem.
