Viktoria Palace Hotel

The property was very classy and clean. Beautiful location overlooking Venice lagoon. The pool was gorgeous and quiet even during peak time. The room was very grand, but small. we did however pay for the cheapest room so we didn’t mind.

The location is a good 20 minute walk to the main Lido port if you don’t mind walking! We walked everyday, but there is a bus shuttle service which is every 10 minutes. The nearest beach was busy, but we cycled the length of the island with the hotel bikes and found some beautiful, more quiet beaches. Worth doing to explore more of the Lido!

The room had been cleaned every day, the towels were replaced daily. The staff was excellent and considerate during our stay. At first we didn’t think too much of the pool, but after 3 hours in the sun at the beach, going to the pool and staying under a tree and enjoying a swim was everything we didn’t knew we needed. We ordered an aperol spritz and the barman brought some olives and some chips along, on the house. The location wasn’t as bad as I first thought it will be. To be honest, I think I prefer to stay here then on any other island. It is a nice little town. There is always a vaporetto that you can take from the station and go wherever you want. I highly suggest to buy a pass for the number of days of your stay. It will come in handy. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety!

The room was smaller than I expected it to be. I think that it was a little too expensive compared to other hotels I stayed in, but it’s probably because we booked it with 3 days prior.

This place was a really nice hotel. It was half hour to 40mins waterbus ride from venice. Ideal if you want to still be close to venice and not pay extortionate price as some places do in Central venice. It's family friendly as well if you just want to get away as a couple. Breakfast had alot of variety but as we could only eat vegetarian option the variety was still good. There's a little veranda where you can eat on the terrace and enjoy the sea view which is amazing. And the hotel is literally a bus ride away from the waterbus stop and the bus stops right in front of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and had helped in organise a surprise birthday do for me in the room with, cake, balloons and drinks as requested with extra charges of course. Lots of food places nearby that is only a bus ride away. Room is clean and big spacious we had a little balcony which looked over the garden.

Pool could've been kept a bit cleaner. There was lot of bugs floating in the water. I would expect a few but there was quite abit. The pool and surrounding area was nice and did have a swim in it though but not as long as I'd have liked.

The quiet area at the end of the 5 minute bus route along the foreshore to the hotel door. The bus to the town was every 20 minutes and the ferries to the canals just as often. Beats staying in the hustle and bustle of Venice and much cheaper too. Staff were nice and friendly. Breakfast was a veritable buffet of foods. Eggs, bacon, sausage,toast, cereals, cakes, pasteries, fruit, juices, coffee and more.

The air/con control was either not working or impossible to use. Whenever a 'neighbour' opened or closed their door our door rattles as if someone was trying to break in. As a light sleeper this was un-nerving through the night.

The hotel is in a very good location with a bus stop just outside that goes to the boat/bus in 5 minutes. The hotel was very clean and smart and had a nice pool area at the back. The breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice and they kindly made sure that there was gluten free food available. The room was clean with a nice view of the water.

The bed was very firm which is not for me. However my husband did like the bed. Our first night was in a room right next to reception on the ground floor which was right next to the lift as well. Was woken up at 6 in the norming hearing people checking out. Fortunately the hotel moved us without any fuss so the problem was sorted out strait away.

Great hotel, totally worth the money I payed. Really friendly and professional staff. Hotel has a beautiful yard and pool. Specially should mention the breakfast- it was just outstandingly tasty, so various and plenty, definitely the best one I had during my stay in Italy! The hotel is just in front of the bus last station-round point, so it is really practical to get there. The place itself is really beautiful. Wish to come back and stay a bit more next time!

Nothing to mention as everything was really fine.

The hotel is quite nice. We had a great stay. -The biggest plus was the gluten free breakfast. - The staff was absolutely great and really helpfull. Big plus here as well. - We had cleaning come every day and tidy the room and bathroom. - The bus station that goes to the vaporetto station is right in front of the hotel. The bus comes regularly which is great. You can check the schedule to know when to go down.

- The pillows were really slim and a bit uncomfortable. - Little upgrades to the room could be made here and there, like the minibar.

Beautiful hotel with very tasteful quaint decor. We had a room overlooking the sea... Breakfast was fantastic. Lift access. No kettle in rooms but coffee/tea available any time for free in the Lobby. There's a bus stop right opp the hotel. The bus takes you (about 2 kms) to the Riviera Santa Maria Elisabetta Ferry stop where you can take the Water Bus to and from Venice. For the water taxi, there's a closer stop.

The hotel is in a perfect and quiet location, easy to get to as the bus stop is directly in front. The staff were amazing, breakfast had everything you could wish for, the pool is perfect, rooms very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend.

Couldn't fault it. Even the owner came over to say hello. Special mention to Jacamo who kept us topped up on Aperol Spritz's and was a joy to be around.

This was an amazing find. It is an oasis away from the rush of Venice island. Tucked away with beautiful grounds and stunning surroundings.

The only downfall we found was the transportation for an early airport departure. The public transit and the taxi system does not start until 0600 in the morning.
