Hotel & Residence Venezia 2000

Breakfast was wonderful with good spread buffet. Well maintained restaurant and staff were really professional. Check in and check out was swift and they were quite busy for the time. We reached the hotel quite late due to flight delays and just stayed for the night. Great sea view room. If you are looking to do something in Lido island only then you should book this otherwise end up paying for the ferry as well which adds up to a huge cost.

For the time(2nd Nov) it was not even too cold on a rainy night, however the AC were off due to the 'season' - there is no way to turn it on even after request.

The breakfast was very good, the room was very confortable and had what we needed (we just needed a place to rest and spend the night, no luxuries). Bathroom was good. We stayed there in the winter, so we could not enjoy the beach. In the summer, the location must be perfect, because it is right in from of the beach. They stored our baggage before the check in and after the check out, which was amazing.

It was a bit of a walk to get to the waterbus station, but nothing much. No complains.

We have taken the spacious room (junior suite) on the first floor. Everything was wonderful. Especially delighted I was by the big patio, and the sight of the sea and different south trees. We do not regret that we pay a little bit more, but we got all conveniences for a comfortable rest with children.

The floor is from tiles, not carpets, and it could be a little bit cold. But it is possible to switch on the heating to heat it so that everybody can walk on bare feet. In general, a very good option.

Wonderful location, Lido very relaxed and less busy than Venice centre. Stayed in a family suite which was huge - large lounge area with 2 day beds, fridge/2 ring hob/sink in corner - 2 bedrooms (one double, one single) and bathroom off lounge. Spectacular views of beach to front and over Venice to the back - amazing! Loads of choice at buffet breakfast - kids loved all the pastries! Staff helpful and friendly and we soon felt at home. Beach across the road has basketball and volleyball courts. Coop supermarket a few streets away ideal for self catering.

Note family suites are on 5th floor and lift only goes up to 4th then stairs. We managed fine but worth knowing.

Very friendly staff, Maid service was spot on.

We only used the roof top bar out of the hotels facilities, which had a great location and view over Venice. The barman was such a nice friendly guy and mixed some great drinks, but we couldn't finish them due to being attacked by mosquitoes. Clearly need some sort of detracting equipment here.

Hotel is located on the Lido, very peaceful and just a 15 minute walk to ferry. Ferrys to St Marks square are frequent and take 15-20 minutes Hotel is opposite nice sandy beach and sea, ideal in the summer.. Staff were very pkeasant

Hotel decor was a bit dated, but very clean Very quiet in winter but that made a nice change to the crowds on the main island

Lovely ambience and friendly hotel staff. comfortable family suite well equipped also with a fitted kitchen and air conditioned rooms. walkable to all reach points say ferry port,restaurants or shopping. Highlight of the hotel would be just a few 100 meters away from the beach which was just across. On the whole we had a nice comfortable and relaxing stay and looking forward to coming back again.

Great location right opposite the beach. Employees at the front desk were very polite and helpful. We were able to leave our bags in a locked room after checkout. Our short stay on Lido was very enjoyable.

The kitchenette was very basic if you plan to cook any meals in the room. Frying pan was warped and the only cooking utensil was a soup ladle. This could definitely be improved upon.

Excellent location across from the beach. Hotel has a nice feeling to it. Our room was a little dated but very clean and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was ok, but served in a dining room with a nice outlook over the beach. Staff were really helpful and went out of their way to be helpful. Overall the hotel was good value for money in a good location. I would stay again.

Location right by the beach access. Bus stop right outside. 15 min walk away from the boat stations. Quiet at night. Breakfast was tasty. Staff very kind and helpful. We had the suite and room was big enough for 5 people, had a full kitchen and 2 balconies.

Room walls too thin, could hear everything the neighbors were saying. Still our bed was towards the other side so it didn't bother us at night.
