Casa Calicantus

Casa Calicantus is in a great location close to mainline metro and Arco Della Pace which is spectacular. Everything was spotlessly clean, lovely traditional furniture with modern artwork. Comfortable beds with nice linen and plenty of fluffy large towels. All staff we met were very friendly and kind. Breakfast was continental style buffet with choice of beverages and fruit. We were only in Milan for one night but would definitely return to Casa Calicantus if we return to Milan and highly recommend for a quiet authentic stay with good transport links to explore. Thank you !

Excellent location and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Very walkable to every place in the city. It felt comfortable at night walking around the streets and the building felt very secure. Linens were excellent and bed was very comfortable. room was larger than expected with the sitting area. Building had excellent soundproof windows.

It is across the street from the police station which has a wall with Bobwire. A little odd at the beginning, but rather comforting for security. There is no noise associated with it.

Gorgeous, spacious room with paintings and lovely old-fashioned features (such as bathroom sink). Tea/coffee and biscuits (also a minibar). Breakfast was nice and only 5 euro - I was served a specifically made, strong latte. This was probably the nicest room that I have ever stayed in, and from now on will pay more attention on the ratings.

A bit noisy as it was just beside tram/train line. The prices for the minibar items could have been on display as I could not see them. Also there could have been a sign to put into your door for the cleaners in case you just want to take a nap. Would have been nice to have a map of Milan somewhere in the hotel wall, for example, or some kind of tourist info (just a few suggestions).

Our stay in the "Casa Calicantus" was very relaxing. The hostess is always concerned about the well-being of her guests and conjures up a first-class cappuccino in the morning. The rooms are cleaned daily and were of good standard and above all, extremely clean. The city is within walking distance. We felt very comfortable.

It would be nice to have our used towels replaced not reused, but surely we just had to ask for that!

great location. a short walk to the centre with lovely restaurants within a few hundred metres (mammina Milano) very cute authentic hotel. modern clean rooms with a gorgeous downstairs lounge and breakfast area with espresso machine, lovely teas and snacks. helpful friendly staff and easy access. Cute courtyard out the back. parking garages very close by. would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again when next in Milano

Fantastic accommodation not far from the Quadrilatero della moda where you also find the famous Osteria de la Fortunata restaurant. The building is traditional Italian, the room is comfortable ble beautifully decorated. The bed and sheets all have that Italian high quality feel. The service is the best I have encountered in Europe. This is be where I'll be staying every time I'm in Milan.

I met a super polite and nice woman, housewife Sonya ..she helped me .she did everything I asked for,even dried my clothes after a heavy rain!👌❤️I call it service and the ability to give it at the highest level. Nice place, perfect location surrounded by perfect park with Arco della Pace . Highly recommended

Squeaky bed but it's ok😀

Absolutely fantastic!!! The room was huge, the bed and bedding was super comfortable. The air conditioning was powerful and quiet. The location although out of the city center is in a safe clean quiet area, within a short walk to the castle and a lovely park with excellent restaurants. The staff was so very kind and the classic Italian breakfast was good.

Clean and safe, this place felt like a safe haven for a first-time solo traveller. It was comfortable and well-equipped and the location was convenient too, with a tram station situated nearby and good eateries in the vicinity. It is also within walking distance to the Sforzesco castle. Service was also warm and great. Truly enjoyed my stay there!

There were mosquitoes but then again they're everywhere in Milan so I suppose it's not the hotel's fault.

Beautiful, well kept property. Incredible hospitality, generosity - and amazing coffee in the rooms made up for everything. Rossana was warm, gave me recommendations to great places in Milan, and was a wonderful intro to my trip. Just wish the garden was open for access!

I had to wait for about 5-10 minutes outside to enter the property as the housekeeper wasn't in. Slight issue with cleanliness: the coffee cup in the room was stained and the tray had crumbs on them.
