Hotel Primo

The lake is located across the street, so the distance to the beach 2 mins by foot. There are many shops and restaurants around. The hotel has its own restaurant, we can recommend it. Breakfast consist mostly of the sweet choices, but there is some ham, boiled eggs, salami and cheese available as well. The red orange juice was delicious. Room was as in the pictures, we had nice balcony view to the lake, but it comes with the price of noise. The street to the lake is super busy and noisy, which can be heard in the room. The bathroom is reconstructed and clean, however the tubes were stinky (maybe because it was rainy and there was different pressure). Shower is however very small in size, I guess 70x70 cm so it is hard to fit in. The free public parking is 700 meters away from the hotel, there were plenty of parking places, but we were there in off-season during the week. Overall, it was good value for the money. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff was incredibly helpful by giving us a local map and drawing all the free parking zones. The breakfast was the same each day, but it was a good breakfast. The rooms were cleaned and well kept daily. The hotel is right by a busy street, so you'll hear cars, busses and people constantly, however the balcony door was very good at blocking the noise so we could sleep soundly at night.

There was a smell in the bathroom that we just couldn't get rid off, even if we had the window open at all times. As if there was something wrong with the pipes.

Everything matches the description, the rooms are small but cozy and equipped with air conditioning , very friendly staff , answer all questions and help with advice , delicious breakfasts , the location is convenient, two minutes from the bus stop , from where you can leave Riva del Garda without stopping at the bus station . Very convenient location, in the very center, in the evening you can eat at a restaurant, 5 minutes to the public beach ,and a very beautiful park , it is suitable for hiking , there is an ice cream parlor across the street from the hotel . I liked everything , the room has a beautiful view , thanks to the hotel and I recommend this place .

I liked everything

Breakfast was typical Italian, Soy milk on request available, also extra prosciutto. We arrived very late, so got our room keys in a small locker box outside. Staff had prepared this by emailing us photos to describe exactly how to get the keys, and called us that evening to make sure we knew how to get in. Very thoughtful! Overall, staff members were exceptionally friendly. Also, we had reserved for 5 but then (due to sickness) showed up with only 4 people: we were then only charged for 4 people, without even asking.

Parking was a little difficult to find at first

The location of Primo is superb. You can go to the beach in just 100m, you can get to the decent shopping center with another 100m to another direction. There's a bus to the city center (if you want to skip the 1km walk on a beautiful beach park) or to other nearby cities. As to the hotel itself, it's nice, clean (rooms are done every day) and very friendly. Our room had a decent fridge and a balcony... What more to ask, it's not as if anyone would spend a whole day in a hotel in a place like Riva! As to breakfast, it's more than you'd expect actually, there's a good coffee machine, youghurts, boiled eggs, many kinds of sweet pastries, buns, toasts and a cute mechanic toaster. Would appreciate a bit more choice with cheese and hams though.

The room was kind of noisy and hot at night... Conditioning exists but don't help much. So we need the balcony open to for some fresh air, and it's right on the busy street, there are motocyclists, night revelers, delivery trucks... Not a big deal, but it's unavoidable.

I loved the friendly, unobtrusive staff who were always ready to help. The breakfast was more than adequate and the restaurant food excellent, especially the grilled sea bass!

I was happy to find a single room and to have a double bed and balcony, but the bathroom was pretty inconvenient with so much shoved into a tiny space. That said, I got used to the tight fit and it didn’t spoil my holiday in any way.

Super location. Nothing upset us, everything we reading before arrival in booking comments/reviews, so we did not have high expectations. But we were very pleased. Indeed, the toilet very strange sated up, I don’t understand how it is possible, but it’s ok. The room itself is good, the staff is helpful, breakfast for the Italy is also ok!

I think this has to to with booking, but every time i book two seperat beds most of the time we get one double bed. But the staff was so friendly and cave us a room with two single beds.

The best part of my stay here was, without a doubt, the staff. In particular, I'd like to shout out two people: Emna, who greeted me when I first checked in, was wonderful. She was invested in me having a great stay, and made sure I got the included breakfast each day and helped me figure out which items were vegan. We also swapped stories about rock climbing, so if you're looking for recommendations, you know who to find! Finally, Alex, who works in the restaurant, helped to make my stay truly memorable from day one. Every night he came up with some incredible vegan pizza or pasta, and makes the most incredible mocktail with local sambuchol syrup. He'll happily talk with you about art and give you excellent recommendations of where to travel around the lake and how to get there. He really went above and beyond with generosity and compassion. The location was also fantastic; across the street from 1) the best gelato place in town, 2) the start of a pedestrian and biking path along the lake shore, and 3) the beach! 15 min walk from the ferry (5 min biking).

The floor of my room wasn't particularly clean: dust in the corners, sticky area in the bathroom, and remained that way during my stay, even after cleaning came through...but the bedding was clean and changed once daily, and otherwise the room was clean.

the location was amazing, the airco was perfect, the breakfast was great!!!

The blankets. the bedding felt uncomfortable because the blanket didnt have a fully cover. it was just a thin bed sheet.
