Shinjuku City Hotel N.U.T.S Tokyo

The train systems got us where we wanted to go. So it's a must to learn before booking into any hotel. Hotel N-U-T-S was located in a great area with many restaurants to choose from, If you want to see other areas of Tokyo, the Shinjuku train line was only a few blocks away.

Not sure what is there not to like. However, learn the Shinjuku Train system and get your hands on a Suica card. It's a must! I used the Bullet train to see Mt. Fuji and go back to Narita Airport at the end of my stay. I also went to Sumarai Theater for Sumarai training, and the Tokyo Radio Building to buy a new computer. Visited the national garden, and the infamous Godzilla Building. I also escorted my wife to her first Sushi making class and ate some amazing Japanese food in the immediate area. All in less than 8 days and staying at hotel N-U-T-S. We had a great time and hope that this review helps.

Great hotel due to wonderful staff (reception and house cleaning all friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional), room was lovely (lots of space, comfy bed, huge bathroom with great shower and spa bath), good location (close to metro and park, easy walk to entertainment yet quiet for good night's sleep), and nice atmosphere.

Ceiling was a tad factory-like as it was painted concrete with attachment points removed and not quite complete. Walls a little think as I could hear neighbours having sexy time (though it only lasted a minute or two, but she was obviously having fun in that time).

The location is spectacular. Laundromat across the street and many fabulous little hole-in-the-wall restaurants right in the neighborhood. And super close to the train station. Most of the staff was wonderful and very helpful. The room was a pretty good size (for Tokyo) for our family of four (3 beds). We even had a tiny little balcony!

One lady at the front desk was pretty rude (I don't know her name). The biggest disappointment was no breakfast. When I made the reservation it showed we could buy breakfast every day, but then we found out that's only if you're in the main hotel and our room was in the annex up the street a block. So, most of our breakfasts were from the nearby Family Mart!

Near Shinjuku station, walking time 15 mins with the luggage. The apartment is a single room, but enough for 4 people family sleeping. The bed quilt is clean. Suitable for traveller stay overnight.

The room is a really good size! One of the biggest we stayed in for our trip in Japan. The bath is amazing, again really big with fantastic jets. The air unit was a life saver as it was really cold and helped keep us warm. The TV had netflix and youtube on it which was fun for when we relaxed in the room. The staff were really helpful when we needed to use the laundry and we got fresh towels everyday and the room cleaned p much every day. There are some really amazing restaurants within minutes of leaving the hotel.

The room has seen some better days and it wasn't in tip top brand new condition which is completely fine. There were some marks on the counter and light controls next to the bed was a bit dated but it didn't affect our stay. You're not located in a busy area of Shinjuku but you can walk to the main station in around 15/20mins FYI. The check in wasn't as smooth as we'd liked, you have to use a digital screen that was a bit clunky and for Westeners it may ask for your last name first which wasn't clear and delayed the process.

Love how accessible this little hotel is - just two easy stops from bustling Shinjuku Station. Our family room was clean and comfortable too. A plus to have Netflix in-room!

Great location close to restaurants, convenience stores, coffee shops, quiet area. Huge shower and bath, great to have kitchenette with sink and fridge. Staff friendly and helpful and on duty 24/7 which was amazing as we needed help with a sick child and they assisted us greatly.

The rooms are very small , 4 beds in one room, beds quite hard, pillows not great, kitchen tap sensor was very annoying not having constant flow which we needed as bathroom sink so tiny we're unable to use to brush teeth etc.

Great location, has all you need.

Stayed there for 10 days. Dust started accumulating on the floor. Put the sign for the room to be cleaned up - no change, bedsheets were not changed either. Did this 2 days in a row. On the third just asked at the register for the floor to be cleaned up and they said sure. Came back in the evening - no change. Towels got replaced every day though regardless of the "clean the room" sign being put up or not.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the jacuzzi bath was a fantastic treat after busy days exploring Tokyo. The staff were very helpful, kind and polite and we were happy with the location, it was a good base for the start of our holiday. Close to a tube station and connecting links for travelling around Tokyo was a bonus too. Would recommend

The hotel was a little hard to find when we arrived.

The layout was perfect. We could store our luggage under the beds which left us with lots of room. The bathroom was huge, and we liked that the shower had its own door, so we could still use the bathroom. I tested the jets after soaking, and they were actually clean, I was very surprised

Noise. I'm pretty sure we were making noise, too, but not that early in the morning
