Tokyu Stay Shinjuku

Great location, lots eatery and shoppings around the hotel… just a 10mins walk from JR Shinjuku Station, or 5 mins walk from Shinjuku Sanchome Station (if using this station, use Exit C4 as this have an escalator for those with luggages and near to hotel)… You can take Airport Bus or Narita Express Train from JR Shinjuku Station/Bus Station to get to Narita or Haneda Airports (info easily available/provided by the hotel staffs during check in). The hotel location have a lots trains/metro that can easily get to other places of interest… For those that are tired from all the touring and shopping, highly recommended to go try the Thermae Yu Onsen Spa which is just a 8mins walk away from the hotel to rejuvenate and recharge yourself…

The hotel was a stone’s throw away from the C3 and C4 exits of Shinjuku-Sanchome station. There are numerous food options along the streets and lanes in the vicinity of the hotel. A Family Mart 24hr convenience store is just opposite the hotel. There is also a shopping mall opposite the main road which has a nice store selling toys and collectibles. The room is clean, staff are helpful and courteous and the stay even comes with breakfast served in an adjacent bar from 7-9:30am. I love having that washing machine/dryer in the room. I do my laundry before going to bed and the washing to drying cycle is about three hours. When I wake up, the laundry is done. Pack less clothes and leave your luggage for more souvenirs and shopping goods. Two thumbs up.

The location of this hotel was prime! Very close to shinjuku station and local metro lines. The breakfast gave you a variety of option to fill you up. Rooms here are larger than you would find in other tokyo hotels but they ate still on the small side.

I know its Tokyo and real estate is hard to come by but yes the room was smaller than I would like. Had I been alone the space would have been fine for two people it was very cramped.

Amazing location— easy to get around from there. So many places to eat just around the hotel. Breakfast had lots of different choices. Staff were friendly and the room was clean. Amenities bar in front of the elevator.

1. Location Walking distance to Shinjuku Station, Kabukicho but far enough to not be bothered by all the hustle bustle and nightlife. This allowed us to walk to Kabukicho for night activites and not worry about catching the last train etc. 2. Room + Facilities Best thing was the washing machine + dryer set up in the room. Not having to wait for a coin washer to free up, going through the whole waiting process was a real blessing. We could just chunk our clothes into the washer/dryer at night, start the full process and head to bed. Wake up in the morning and we get clean dry clothes. Everything else were as what you would expect, but really wanted to point out the above two.

Room size. There was barely any space left after we set our luggage down. But well seeing that we're staying a 5-minute walk away from Shinjuku station, you get what you're paying for.

Hotel provides all toiletries you may need, shampoo,conditioner, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair ties, q-tips, cotton pads (I think they also had razors). Extra free toiletries in the lobby. Also lobby has tea, coffee, and vending machines. AC worked great in the room and allowed you to set your own temperature (you can get it down to cold). The rooms were small-ish which is typical for Japan, but had enough space for my husband and I to both go into our carry on size wheely bags on the floor. Washer/dryer combo in the room and includes cleaning spray. Also room has a microwave. Despite it being in a busier night section of Shinjuku, it was very quiet. The blackout curtains work pretty great, but I always use a sleeping mask while traveling. Very friendly workers, they helped us make and cancel dinner reservations, and also arranged to have our luggage overnight shipped to our next destination. Umbrellas were also included in the lobby, which come in useful.

There are only 2 elevators and it seemed like a lot of people were staying, so sometimes there was a long wait for the elevator. Other than that no complaints. Please note there is limited cleaning service and they do not come in and make up your room/bed, we don’t care about that, but I know some people do. You also have to request new towels if you are staying less than 6 days I believe.

Location was perfect, 1 mins walk away from the entry of city subway and 8 mins walk away from Shinjuku JR station. There were A LOT OF local bars and restaurants downstairs.

It was no room cleaning during our 4-days stay, which was not a big trouble for me but might be a issue for some people.

It is all surrounded by tasty restaurants, perfect for a walk and a dinner after a day visiting the city 50m from metro station, really easy and convenient Room was like new, same as bathroom. No noises and everything super clean Our room had a washing machine (and dryer), which we found very useful Staff nice and helpful. They allowed us to store the luggage on first and last day Free coffee and tea in the lobby

As all accommodation in tokyo, I found it a 30% more expensive as I my European reference

The location is just great and this was one of the main reasons we booked a room at this property. The room and ensuite bathroom was big for japanese standards and that was a plus since we stayed for 6 nights.

We felt that the value for money was not that great since it was a bit expensive considering we did not opt for breakfast. Plus, the hotel does not offer a full room cleaning service for free. If you want bed making you need to pay an extra fee. For free, you only got towels change and trash clean up and by request placing a magnet outside your room door. We asked 2 times for a 6 night stay and not even the soap and shampoo were refilled.
