Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo Kinshicho

Convenient location: the hotel is a 5-minute walk from Kinshicho JR station and on the Hanzomon metro line which made it convenient to get to most major sights in the city. Sumida City is a calmer ward, a bit less touristy, but it suited our preferences. It's about a 20 or 30-minute walk to the Skytree and probably a 40 minute walk to Taito City ward where the Senso-ji temple is. Kappo Kinari is a hidden gem sushi restaurant super accommodating and hospitable to tourists. But beware, as this is a less touristy area overall, some sushi restaurants are not as accessible in that they require that you book ahead or speak Japanese to be able to dine there. There are a couple of shopping malls within walking distance. Lots of other food options, too. Room was tight but was as expected. The room was clean and bed was comfortable and large.

Front desk staff were kind and called restaurants on our behalf to book reservations, although not all were super well-versed in English, so asking for directions and other help was a bit tricky on a couple of occasions.

The number of self-service washing machines is only two. By evening, there is a large crowd of customers waiting to use them, and some customers do not pick up their clothes on time after washing, resulting in a significant increase in waiting times. I have experienced waiting for more than 3 hours at times before being able to use a machine. Additionally, I have to take the elevator to the laundry floor every 30 minutes to check if there are any available machines. Furthermore, the washing machine's washing effectiveness and the dryer's drying effectiveness are not as ideal as expected. Therefore, it is suggested that customers who need their clothes urgently should be willing to pay a higher fee and use the services of a dedicated laundry department or an external laundry shop.

Practically next to JR/Metro Kinshicho, in an area filled with eateries and shops. Also within walking distance to Skytree and provides opps to take Skytree pics from the narrow streets and also neighborhood park. After Skytree, can continue easy walking to Sensoji/asakusa. The hotel also have more front office staffs compared to similar hotels it seems, and thus guest handling/processing is quick and I didn't see any lines at all.

The room with double bed is also actually one of the smallest I believe, which is quite confusing. But small is not uncommon, and just need to carefully pay attention to the room size info when reserving.

Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a while. Excellent facilities, very comfortable and staff were exceptionally welcoming. Perfect location away from all the hustle and bustle of Tokyo yet ideal to reach everything as its one minute from the station. Bed was lovely and comfortable, shower and bathroom was perfect. Hotel provides a lovely gown and slippers as well as toothbrush and other accessories if needed. Above and beyond. Will definitely only book here when I visit Tokyo again!

Nothing, everything was excellent.

Very clean and modern hotel in a very good location. The service was excellent, and the room has a lot of great features, like many plugs for charging appliances and light controls. Large number of shopping centers, restaurants and transport nearby, and the area is very quiet as well. Best of all were the self-service amenities at the hotel lobby - grab whatever you want (toothbrush, tea, slippers) for free.

Maybe just include a simple breakfast? Not much else really.

I stayed here for one week. It is a very clean room, with wonderful and polite staff, in a vibrant area of Kinshicho. I had a wonderful experience.

My standard room was very small as I had expected. Everything worked well, and the cleaning staff did a wonderful job int cleaning.

the location is very convenient and there are lots of shops to eat & buy nearby. The hotel is clean , the bed is comfort, really like the bathtub in the bathroom and bath salt is provided by the hotel.

Kinshicho is always proper area to stay in Tokyo, close to everything and not being too crowded in such a big city. Clean and everything is great. Love the staff being so friendly! Decent breakfast.

Being the fact of visiting Tokyo every year, it’s not first day to know the room dimension is small, with 2 ppl in one room barely have no space, next time will order each a room :))

Very good location. Nearby amenities like 7 eleven and train station. Easy accessible

Rooms were small. Once you put in a 30 inch bag. ( Queen Size) There is no space in the room. The DBL room that I booked is abt 2-3 inches more than a super single. So l had to pay additional for a queen size bed for a good rest for 2 adults

The location is really good, nearby the train station and subway, supermarket, and restaurants which is really good specially when you get hungry and crave for something to eat.. We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Thanks to all the friendly staff, until next Visit💜💜💜
