V8 Hotel Johor Bahru

The staff was the nicest staff especially at the lobby counter Ms. Aqilah. I have never encountered a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. They also were able to recommend places to get any type of meal that we needed as well. Ms. Aqilah waiting for me on late check-in, thanks Ms. Aqilah & team! In the nearby hotel, we can just be walk-in to get MCD, KFC, PIZZA HUT, and DOMINOS! But Malay food difficult to get

Card ACCESS is only one piece for each room. So if we would like to get the food at the lobby we have no choice but to wait for the lobby boy (Bangladesh) to accompany us to the lift. Suggest the hotel provide an extra access card for every room! (2 cards per rooms)

The food was good although buffet breakfast option was very limited but at least its good. the staff are friendly and very helpful.

The toilet bidet were not working and i was too lazy to call or to be moved to other room so i just let it be. and Rm100 for deposit, ridiculous. i thought 4 stars hotel and above didnt do it anymore,asking for deposit. been staying in luxury hotel all around Malaysia and they dont even asked for a cent of deposit. Might want to look up on that.

Junior suite so perfect. The breakfast food also taste good. I can tell the noodle soup its like johorean taste. Nasi lemak also yummy. Its really worth it. They provide promotion for family staycation. Parking wise, need to improve at the side of the hotel building

During the day, there’s no light for all the toilet at the swimming pool. And there’s no soap at all. Please concern about the light. I would say, there’s lot of families come over to the hotel.

very nice family suite with lounge area and large bed, and mini kitchen, location is surrounded by a lot of food and amenities

no air exhaust ventilation in the bathroom, breakfast was bad - alot of fruit flies, noodles and bread were dried because food left opened and unattended in air-conditioning for a long time, very diluted fruit juice, fried noodles were overly fried

I like the room. It is very cozy and spacious. Very good for family with kids. In addition, hotel also offers free parking for visitors. It is very good for families travelling with their own vehicles. Overall, very good.

The breakfast is very simple. Although it is served as buffet, the food is mainly malay and most of them are spicy. Not very good for kids.

1. Very poor connection with the wifi, need more improvement on the bandwidth speed, need to get direct lease line to upgrade the bandwidth. 2. To provide more TV programs. 3. Bath tower have to replace old and uncomfortable tower. 4. Room 320 Door access lock unable to open, that we need to use 321 access.

The location is great, not too hustle and bustle but convenient with good interior ambience. Value for money, with the quality of a nice room in jb centre.

The toilet water hose handle can’t control, should consider to replace it. The tv signal not good enough, can’t even watch channel 5.

The room price is low when compared to the room size and appliances that I get for the room. The swimming pool is good enough for my child and it make her very happy.

No shaded car park. As its a rainy season nowadays, its a bit of hassle and car security is another issue as the car will be parked on open car park.

The room was clean and comfortable. It had a study table and a study lamp too. The bathroom was spacious and the water heater worked well.

The car park is limited. Sometimes, it's quite difficult to get a parking spot.

I booked the Family Suites. The entire suites were clean and spacious. Bed so comfy. Air conditioner working good and the tv also. My kids enjoy the pool too. For breakfast maybe management can add some western breakfast as well.
