Although easy enough to get from the airport (and the hotel gave good instructions) it was a little time consuming and a bit of a hassle for a senior with luggage

The hotel itself was fine and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Since I had read reviews about loud construction going on outside the hotel, I had asked for a quiet room but we didn’t get one the first night of our five night stay. However, they were nice about switching us to a quieter room for our last four nights.

The hotel was a little further from the airport and from Amsterdam than I expected. The train station was nearby, but it was a little more expensive and took longer to get into the city than I had thought it would be. (The hotel is fine for one night before a flight from Schiphol).

It is very reachable by the train from the Airport, 5-4 minutes away and the train is every several minutes. Check in and out were quick and efficient. The rooms were ready, with aircons ON, so we felt very comfortable straight away. As one of our luggages went missing, we were given toothbrush set free of charge, really appreciate that. Breakfast was really good, with good machine coffee and plenty of choices. Bed was comfy and there were 2 pillows, depending if you need a higher or lower support. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion provided. Blinding curtains were perfect.

I was missing slippers, the floor in the bathroom is cold and only the towel does not save. The shower corner is strange, splashes get all over the place. Cotton buds would be nice as well. Aircon light is always on and it drived me a bit crazy, but i was there for a layover, so this was fine in the end. My main issue was that while checking in, i was told i needed to pay, but thanks to the wonderful girl at the front desk, we found very quickly that it was booking who did not transfer the money to the hotel. Just be aware of that and it is not the hotels fault, happened several times before.

This is very close to the airport you can take a train or by taxi just about 10mnts away. There's a shopping mall in walking distance within 2km distance. Very safe area. Clean rooms with all the required amenities. Above all staff were extremely freindly. Within my short stay i traveled to 8 countries within Europe but this hotel and the staff were the best and they reflected how friendly the dutch people are. My flight to Australia was at night and I was able to keep my baggages in a safe baggage room and stay in the lobby till I go even though I checked out at 12pm. The staff made me feel like home (I should have remembered the names in perticular to give more recognition but sorry I cannot remember the name, but the tall guy wearing glasses that i talked to at the reception gave excellent service) can 100% recommend this hotel. Thanks for making it a wonderful experience.

Well presented, staff friendly and efficient,

When passing through Schipol we noted that the hotel had a shuttle service so when returning through Schipol, we stood under the sign in the hotel shuttle section, and watched the comings and going to other venues. After 1/2 hour we checked the schedule notice board...no longer a shuttle service. Confirmed by phone call. I respectfully request that you remove the sign at the airport and save someone else from spending 27 Euros on a taxi. It makes a mockery of the motto behind the service desk at the hotel

If you are looking for a hotel close to the airport, to facilitate travel plans, this is an excellent choice. It is a very short train ride from the airport and the train runs at really frequent intervals. It is an easy five minute walk from the train station to the hotel. They also were great about allowing us a late checkout (make sure you sign up for Hilton Honors) so we didn't have to spend a lot of time sitting in the airport waiting for the flight. In addition to a really good breakfast buffet (with gluten free bread upon request...so important for a member of our party who has Celiac Disease) they also had a restaurant that was open fairly late and we appreciated the ability to grab a light meal and drink upon our evening arrival there. They were one of the few hotels we stayed at that also had a gym facility. The hotel is really generic (you could be staying in Philadelphia, Berlin (they do have a twin there), etc. but spotless, new, friendly and most of all convenient!

The rooms were spacious and bed comfortable. The breakfast was good..

The toilet paper was cheap and thin recycled paper. When I arrived to check in, the receptionist told me in typically Dutch way. No room available because the Internet is down and no one can check in. When I asked what did he expect me to do, he answered with one word, wait. I think he could go on a politeness training course. The general decor of the reception and bar was downmarket. I would have expected something smarter. Place needs a revamp. But the rooms are nice.

Convenience to rail connection from/to airport. On direct rail route to Ams Centraal. Clean, easily accessible & with a convenient breakfast buffet.

Check in was chaotic. 3 staff involved, almost 15 minutes waiting after a flight & usual airport hassle. All we wanted was our bed! All this for a months' prior pre-paid 2 bedroom reservation. Staff were unfailingly polite but clearly poorly trained & very hesitant in their dealing with us. Much later, we passed reception with a big group trying to check in...my heart went out to them....it was past 11pm & they must have been shattered....

The location was ideal - only a 3/4min walk to the train station in Hoofddorp, and then it was easy to catch a train direct or indirect (usually via Schiphol airport). The hot/cold buffet breakfast was ideal to start the day - decent amount of food and drink to choose from. The bedrooms were very clean, and bathroom too. It was our choice to keep the window open at night so some traffic noise until late but nothing to spoil our stay - we were out late all 3 nights we were staying! It wasn’t a negative because we just asked for a glass of ice at reception but the hotel should consider installing an ice machine for guests to help themselves.

Nothing to dislike about.

Even though this hotel is outside the city centre, it proved to be perfect for our group. There were regular buses & trains to where we needed to go. It’s only 5 minutes on train from airport. Food was great & hotel was clean, comfortable & very affordable. Davina & Thomas were especially helpful to us. We will be back!
