The staff and location. Easy walk to restaurants, beach and tours. The view from the roof Aircon and wifi worked well (2 days wifi outage in 20 days but was as expected from what we read about in Philippines.)
The nightclub down the road that played duff duff loud music until 4am every night throughout our stay. We even moved rooms but it didn't really help. The hotel is an older building and the rooms/deco need some TLC but clean and functional.

The staff were very responsive and helpful. They maintained the water and coffee stands well and we're easily reachable when we had questions.
The hotel is way overpriced for what it offered. We paid for a premium room and barely got a functioning shower. The other room next to us also had the same problem.

Excellent location; friendly efficient staff.
Poor quality towels and bed linen. No water in the bathroom in the morning; embarrasing. No lift as a senior had to carry own bags. Very tired decor; in the process of decorating.
