Very nice spot on the beach, perfect for sunset watching from the pool area. Staff was really friendly, the room was spacious although we missed bedside lamps - there is only ceiling lamp which you switch off and on at the entrance which means getting up from the bed. Next time I would look for a sea facing room, ours was towards the street and it was very noisy (traffic, roosters…) troughout the night.
Noise proof from the street is really bad, it is like the windows are wide open all the time, you hear everything.

Everything!! Great room - beside the pool, which was beside the beach and the restaurant. The views of the islands, the ocean, the sunsets - spectacular! The location is close to town and other resorts, restaurants, shops without being too busy. Staff very helpful and friendly. And guests were friendly to each other, it was like a small community. Most of all, with the affordable rates, it was such excellent value that we extended our stay by a month just to enjoy El Nido at Double Gem. We will return!
Nothing. Everything was great. Maybe the odd time when they cut some coconut trees and constructed a cabana, it was noisy - but it happened only 2 times withing the total 6 weeks of our stay, and only briefly each time.

Nice hotel, very clean with welcoming and helpful staff 🌟🙋♀️Rooms are spacious enough with a balcony and nice bathroom with hot water and toiletries 🚿🧴. Relaxing place with garden 🌺 chill zone with swimming pool 🏊♂️, volleyball 🏐, basketball 🏀 and restaurant with good food 🍳 and drinks 🍸. Hotel also offers a massage 💆♀️, a van to Puerto Princessa 🚌 and other. ⛵️🛺🌅. We spent here 2 weeks and there is nothing you can complain about ☺️. We checked 3 different hotels in El Nido during our stay at Philippines and this is the best choice 💜

The receptionists are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is quite outdated but the room was clean and there was a hot water.
The room had mostly american sockets and the adapter which I asked was totally broken. The breakfast was dissapointing - waiting time was 1 hour, the food is not good and the staff were so unprofessional and lazy. The vendors are constantly watching guests at the pool and asking to buy their stuff. I think safety and privacy must be improved.

Only area of improvement is showers do not have hot water, this is common in the Philippines but if they upgrade their shower to have hot water it would make the whole experience perfect.

The facilities feels great, it's not too fare form the city and offer and incredible view on the ocean. Rooms are clean, and the staff are always smiling and helpful.

Hot water operates on Solar. So often didn't have hot shower, but that comes with El Nidos quirks. No big deal.
