Hotel Palmeira

Old fashioned outside however the room itself wasn't so dated. Somehow gave me the local feeling, without fake glamour bit like travel in time. For some people the space can be too bit compacted / snall, but you paying low money for the central location. In our room the bathroom was awkwardly situated just next to bed, so when turning yoiu in bed at night you would facing the toilet (not sure how this looks in other rooms). The hotel was clean and bathroom with all toiletries. Nice breakfast and helpful staff.

Just tip, the free parking space in Avero is on the other side of the Canal.

- mattress was really comfortable - bathroom was well thought out, with a big shower - room was in general nice and cosy, with big enough TV - the reception lady was extremely nice, with great English! - breakfast had a nice spread (with a healthy peanut butter, which was awesome)

the walls in the common areas do need some sprucing, and the rugs on the corridors would definitely benefit from some deep cleaning

The location was really great - right in the city centre two minutes' walk from restaurants and attractions, but in a quiet street. A small supermarket a few doors away. Breakfast was OK; adequate - fresh breadrolls, butter, jams, honey, cheese, ham, coffee and milk, very-watered-down orange juice. The room and bathroom were immaculate - very clean! They allowed us to leave our bags on the last day after we checked-out so that we could sightsee.

I'd have preferred eggs at breakfast and for the orange juice not to be so watered down. It would have been nice also to have an offer of activities, like, suggestions and tickets to attractions. The breakfast room was also a bit uninspiring. But these are nit-picky - we had a really good stay, especially for the price.

We stayed for one night, the room was small but for sleeping is enough. Bed comfy, super clean, great location with loads of restaurants around, breakfast included (toast, cold meats, pastries, drinks...) For that price is great 😃

My friend and I stayed here for our trip to Aveiro, and it positively exceeded our expectations! Everything was so clean, well maintained, and well kept! Best of all, this place is like 2mins walk away from the Aveiro centre.

Honestly I liked everything!

Everything! We loved staying here, the staff were super friendly and helpful, location was great, room was very spacious with large windows (as pictured), private bathroom, simple but sufficient breakfast. They even had a plug adaptor for US electronics when we asked.

The water in the shower takes a while to adjust after you change it.

The hotel was a little old fashioned but the rooms were clean and comfortable and recently decorated. Convenient location for visiting the old centre of Aveiro.

Parking could be difficult, but we were lucky to find a space in the street next to the hotel.

Very surprised that the rooms were renovated and very clean. Staff was very nice and very informative. Breakfast is very basic but enough to get you going for the day.

The rest of the hotel needs to be renovated to reflect the beauty of the rooms. hotel should provide mini shampoos for guests incase they forget. Breakfast was also very basic.

Great location right downtown. Loved that the front desk was open around noon and that our room was ready that early! Front desk lady had perfect English. Room was tiny but perfect and sparkly clean. Loved that breakfast was included. Fabulous value for cost.

Awesome location in the city center and very friendly lady at the reception. Overall, the room was cozy and nice!

- It's getting too nosy at night and therefore difficult to get sleep. - too crowdy at the breakfast but maybe we chose the wrong time.
