Lion Hotel

- Location was great! very convenient, surrounded by a lot of restaurants. Short walk to subway exit 7. - Convenience stores on both ends of the street. - Heated floors in winter. - Hotel provides ALL essentials like toothbrush kit, vanity kit, skincare products, hair dryer, hair spray, hairbrush & comb, even shower towels and hair iron. - Rooms were big. 2 large double beds ..... mattresses were strangely different though. 1 was firm, 1 was soft. - Huge TV - Large rooms.

- Shower/tub design We had a family quad room. Koreans are used to wet bathrooms i suppose as they have a rain shower in the middle of the bathroom. We weren't so we used the showerhead in the tub. They also have a huge bathtub but perhaps the hotel can consider changing the shower head holder to one that has an adjustable angle. Right now, it's a fixed shower head holder and if you turn the tap on full, it sprays to the wall behind you and it will flood the bathroom. Foreigners will appreciate this A LOT! - Windows Aircon was turned off as it was winter - so we left the window open slightly when we slept. Street seems like a club street - it's not too noisy though but you can hear noises through the window. - hair iron has no use ... takes ages to heat up and barely hot. haha

1. The bedroom is spacious and also the bathroom (which has a walk-in shower and a long bath). 2. The location is excellent - about 500m from Seomyeon station (take exit 7 stairs) which is an interchange for Line 2 (green) and Line 1 (orange). We also took the light rail (BGL purple line) from Gimhae International Airport (take exit gate 3 at arrival hall, walk across the zebra crossing and turn R) and alighted at Sasang station, then changed to subway to Seomyeon station. At Seomyeon, you can take exit 7 but there are many stairs to climb with your luggage. A better option is to head to exit 5 which says Ion City Mall and take the elevator. 3. There are also many buses nearby - we took bus 24 direct to Igidae Park, 4. Jeonpo Cafe street is also walking distance from hotel. You may also be interested to walk the Seomyeon underground mall which is connected to the Seomyeon station.

There is no shower curtain in the walk-in shower nor the long bath - so it gets a bit wet which I dislike. The lighting in the bathroom can be improved. The nearby restaurants and karaoke rooms mean that it can get a bit noisy at times - you can shut the glass window and the sliding wood panel to keep the noise out.

We loved the Lion Hotel. It was a mix of Western and Korean hotel. There is a vestibule before you enter your room to leave your shoes with lovely slippers, also shower slippers are provided. The bathroom is large with a shower/tub. The room is small, (but we weren't in it often) There was a hairdryer and flat iron provided!! Water bottles everyday in the fridge. The air conditioner worked well. And the room cooled down quickly (we were there in August) It is very close to food and lots of city center activities. Great central location.

The hotel can be hard to find as it is down an alley. The reception area is very small and there was little need for us to interact with staff.

Very good location, surrounded by bars and restaurants and a 7eleven just around the corner. Seomyeon Station with its huge underground mall and Lotte Department store are less than a 5 min walk away, so very convenient if you plan to go all out shopping. Room Amenities were plenty, especially since room service stocked up on water bottles daily as you can’t use tap water to make yourself a tea or coffee. It’s also the first time ever for me to have a fully stocked vanity in a room including products for a facial routine (Cleanser, Toner and Emulsion). Amazing! We will definitely be choosing this hotel again whenever our next trip to Busan will be.

We are a family of 4 and we had an amazing 3 nights stay in Lion Hotel. It is well located, just a short walk to Seomyeon station, the department store and also the market. There are lots of restaurants around the hotel. The room is clean and spacious. The bathroom has a bathtub and jacuzzi that we used once after a long tour around Busan. It’s just perfect to end our day. It has a very comfortable bed. I loved that it has everything you need including the small things like hair tie, toner and moisturiser. They even has hair straightener ! The hotel has a free laundry area as well. I highly recommend this place.

Nothing really. We were very happy with our stay.

The room was well appointed and exceeded our expectations. The room was large. There were two sinks, a jacuzzi tub, adequate toiletries, and other appointments. Photos were as represented.

There were two washers, but only one dryer for all guests. This led to an issue with users being able to dry their clothes in a timely fashion. The window in the room opened onto an alley, and there was quite a bit of noise in the later evening from vendors using the street and cats fighting. There was a bit of construction going on in the morning. And, the plumbing was exceptionally loud when folks upstairs drained their tubs and showered.

Located in the center of Seomyeon in Busan, it is only a 7-minute walk from Seomyeon Subway Station. There are lively neighborhoods and Lotte Department Store next to it, and there are many local delicacies to taste, which is very convenient. The room is very large, much larger than the one I lived in downtown Seoul before, and there is plenty of space for the suitcase. In addition to the superb hair dryer, the room also courling wand, which is very suitable for girls who love beauty.

The attitude of the customer service staff is relatively indifferent, The cleaning of the walls of the room needs to be strengthened , and a lot of dust has accumulated.

The location was really convenient, walking distance to a lot of food and shopping options, as well as to public transport stops. The staffs were also really efficient in helping us resolve the issues we had in the room really quickly. There were also water bottles provided each day during our stay and the room floor was warm during winter.

I had no issues connecting to the wifi and using it. However, some of us had issues connecting to the wifi on laptop or when watching videos. Nevertheless, not a big issue since we had mobile data

The hotel is well-located near a metro station and to convenience stores; there are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, too, as well as the Lotte department store. It's a good location in that it's about halfway on the line between tourist attractions like Gamcheon, Haeundae, and the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. The bath was SO nice, we really enjoyed having it! Nice toiletries were also provided each day. The room and bathroom were very clean and also very large. Really comfortable beds. For the price and the fact it is in a major city, I think it was very good value for money.

Currently no breakfast option available and there is limited choice nearby.

The hotel was located only a few min walking distance from the subway. The lobby was very nice, the room was extremely spacious, it even had a little 'mud room' at the main door. The bathroom had a shower and a bath as well, a vanity. The toilet was a bit separated by a wall / more like a half-one which could give some privacy in case you're not a solo traveller. Little toileteries were provided, body wash, shampoo and hair conditioner as well. The room also had another little vanity in the room with mirror, hairdryer, and even hair brush and spray provided (make up corner). It was a big flat television in the wall, the aircon and the TV were both operated by the same remote control which I found interesting. I would stay here again no doubt about it.

At first it was hard to find the entrance as it seemed you're walking into a carpark. Bed was a bit hard for me but this is just personal preference.
