Amber Hotel Jeju

The room was spacious and hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Can speak English and Mandarin. Very good and convenient location with shopping and food options. Easily accessible to Jeju airport via bus and taxi. There is also a airport shuttle but only comes at 9am.

Close to the airport so we could get to hotel quickly. Lots of food options and convenient shops around which was great. Room was large and clean. Breakfast was good, we enjoyed the selection available. There was also abalone liver porridge and of cos various types of kimchi. There were a few western selections too. The local Jeju milk was yummy.

The hotel had already switched over to heater and there wasn't an option for air condition. It got really hot in the room for the 2nd night and we were perspiring inside the room. Had to open the window to let in cool air. You need to ask the receptionist to change the heater to just fan with no heat. The Receptionist offered us fans which helped a little. I wish they could add a shower door or curtain as the glass panel was only half way and the water gets into the dry area as you shower. Got to be careful not to slip and fall.

The hotel is easy to reach by public bus from Jeju airport. The hotel is right across the bus stop. The hotel room is clean.

When we arrived at the hotel in the evening, we asked about a restaurant we found from the Internet nearby the hotel. The staff didn't check it after looking at the site we showed her, and simply answered that she didn't know the place. So we followed google map, but eventually, the restaurant was not existing anymore, and we were very disappointed the the hotel staff didn't show any will to check and give us the right information about the local restaurant.

Huge room Comfortable and big beds There is a bowling in the same building if you like to play. Hall is wide and comfortable to stay If you need to take a taxi is easy to find one just in front of the door, independently to the time Airport is really close (2.5 km) and by taxi it takes only 8 minutes and 4.300 KRW

Low level of English from the staff (it's too common in Korea, even in the touristic places) In the shower is easy to flood the floor because the screen is too short Windows could be more isolating

Room is a bit dark as the window faces a wall Seems to be a hotel for tour groups and unfortunately our room was right in the middle of a tour group booking. So much noise and shouting from early in the morning. The hotel should have put us on a floor which is not the same as for tour groups.

Location is good as it is near the airport. The room size is good for the 2 of us to put 2 luggage. Bed sheet is clean. And front desk staff are friendly. We enjoyed our stay at Amber Hotel.

Nothing bad comes to mind.

- Staff can speak a little mandarin. They will make an effort to explain to you. - Simple breakfast so cannot expect much with the rates paying. - Location not too bad. Many restaurants nearby and bus stations.

- Breakfast table with very minimal choices. - Not flexible with early check-in. If there is room available already why not let guest check-in.

The staff can speak English and it's easy for us to communicate. They are friendly too :). The hotel is also located in the city if Jeju. Near to many shopping malls and convinient store as well as gift store.

The room was very the spacious and clean. Breakfast was good with a fair selection of options.

It would be great if the hotel provided additional seating options. if you’re having dinner in the room, there’s no space to really eat. There was a TV, but it doesn’t connect to an HDMI.
