Hotel Skypark Kingstown Dongdaemun

Spacious and clean room with minimalist and environmental concept. Shampoo and body wash provided, bring own toiletries. Self-check-in/out at kiosk on 14th level. 24-hr CU store and coin laundry/dryer available too. Hotel is located near to metro, numerous restaurants, cafes, underground shopping streets and shopping malls. There is a bus stop via KAL 6702 to Incheon airport just 5 min away.

The room was lovely and has such a nice view of the skyline, especially at night. It has a great selection of thing to do nearby and for stuff that's further, it has a metro/train station like a 5 minute walk(if that) away at Dongdaemun Design Plaza. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the CU on the front desk floor was a life saver. Using the bidet was a shock initially but you get used to it quickly and honestly don't know how I'm going to live without one 😂😂

The front desk is on the 14th floor with it sharing the building with Hyundai Outlet, so we were initially confused, it is clearly labeled in the lift though.

The hotel was presented exactly as advertised and more. Very convenient location and close to multiple stations. Multiple lifts to access our rooms as well as the 24 hour convenience store within the building, which is also connected to a large shopping centre. Facilities were clean and in good functioning order. House keeping service was good and we also enjoyed the self service flexibility of being able to request if we wanted the room cleaned or not for the day/ if we needed more toiletries. (They will be default clean the room daily if there is no specific requests). The staff were helpful and friendly, and organised taxis for us on check out upon request and print out tickets that we needed for our travels. Would recommend!!

The cleaners of my room are good. My room esp. my bed is well-cleaned during my entire stay.

When I checked in and esp. when I checked out, the staff from the lobby up to the reception area at the 14th floor are not to friendly. They don’t need to be well spoken in English because I think “thank you” and “welcome” is not so hard to learn. The staff at the lobby upon knowing that I have to check-in never helped me with my luggage and where to go to check- in, seeing that I am struggling. 😓 Then the guy at the reservation, just say “bye” when I checked out. 😥

This hotel has excellent value for the price. The rooms are not large (it is an inner city hotel), but they are very comfortable. The location is perfect, within a few minutes walking from two underground stations and in an area that is filled with shops and restaurants and next to the Hullyeonwon park. Staff was very helpful. The free wifi functioned perfectly for my entire stay.

Breakfast options are limited. That's okay, since it was cheap for a hotel breakfast, but I would have been willing to pay more for a broader selection.

very good location close to both Dongdaemun Station and Dongdaemun History and Culture Park station which allows you access to multiple train lines. also has a convenience store on the 14th floor so you don’t need to go outside if you need to buy something. also connected directly to the shopping mall next door. easy check in and check out and a scale to weigh your luggage on the 1st floor. there’s also free luggage storage.

we were unable to change the mode of the ac/heater. the room ran a little too warm and turning it down to 15 degrees did not help and your only option is to turn the system off to cool down the room.

This is my 3rd times stayed at Hotel Skypark Kingstown Dongdaemun in 3 different seasons ( Spring, Autumn, Winter). Stayed at 18th floor which the top floor of the hotel and I love this hotel because of their location which just 5mins walking distance from Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Subway station and also surrounded with those Dongdaemun market & wholesale market(Nuzzon, Apm plaza, Hello Apm , Megabox, Migliore , Doota, Team 204 & more). the hotel reception counter is located at 14th floor and also got CU convenient store/self-laundry kiosk at same floor. B1 floor got concierge provide free lodging service.

The aircon is auto adjusted by the hotel facility cannot to be adjustable by the hotel guest. it’s too hot inside the room and the window is fully sealed which caused us unable to stay-indoor for more than than 5mins.

Good location in Dongdaemun with walking distance to local department stores, shopping malls, restaurants and cafes in addition Metro line, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Seoul City Wall, Cheonggyecheon Stream and Gwangjang Market. Room was comfortable and clean 24/7 Shopping Mart on Level 14

Rooms and hotel Corridors were slightly dated and dark compared to other cheaper 3 star hotels available in the local area. The top sky deck floor was closed during our stay which was one of the reasons we picked this hotel for our stay.

I think the locations, staff, and accommodations were all fantastic. If you can score a balcony room, I'd highly recommend it. Our room was clean and the staff ensured we had plenty of cold water to drink at no cost to us. The location is near the most popular food market Guangjang, the wholesale shopping district, a mall, eateries, and the metro. We would definitely repeat our stay here again. My only complain is the lack of a real pool. Other than that, it's a great choice.

The reason we chose this hotel in particular, was for the pool. We figured that they would have a real pool for leisure swimming. What was offered was a kiddy pool big enough for 3 young children. This was extremely disappointing for us.
