AC Hotel by Marriott Alicante

Clean and modern breakfast was very nice had a good selection to choose from

Felt uncomfortable being 2 females mother and daughter vacation ,walking past homeless people near by as quite isolated and a fair walk into town Room needed to be more light very dark and the corridors very dark only a glimmer of light.

The property is modern, clean and contemporary design. Room was comfortable with a wide range of products for everything you may neeed inc an espresso coffee machine Rooftop pool was open unlike a hotel we had stayed at during the same week in Valencia.

The property is approx half a mile from the marina and over amile from the main beach. The central area where most reasaurants and bars are is about amile form the property. it is not central to most attractions and facilities. To visit the old town and castle would be an even longer walk. The staff on reception were efficient but not especially welcoming. Perhaps a few smiles would help.

Really smart, modern hotel, close to the airport and walking distance to the old town and marina. Fantastic breakfast in a lovely restaurant area. Amazing cocktails and attentive bar staff. Nice restaurant and good food for lunch/dinner, although you are spoilt for choice center.

If you are taking family, and are thinking about using rooftop pool out of season, enjoy the views/lovely terrace, just be aware the pool isn’t heated and so not practical to use. m

Great modern hotel within 10-15 min walk of town centre. Big room and lovely lounge. On site parking good but a bit tight for larger vehicles

Amazingly for a newish hotel there were only 2 obvious Plug sockets, 1 either side of the bed. Of these only 1 worked if you left all the room lights on !! - not useable at night. They supply a kettle with no obvious socket to plug it in. Given the amount of modern Tech the rooms need many more sockets and USB outlets. Pity because otherwise it is a great hotel

Great place.... close to centre around 10 min walk to marina and cafes/Postiguet beach etc . Santa Barbara castle lift was a pleasant 15-20 min walk past the range of cafes and shops.Lots of choices from good restaurants & various cuisines to fast food like McDonald's :} Good base to explore city, beach and castle etc. There was a beautiful fiesta parade in the centre during our stay} Excellent room facilities,,,,we were celebrating an occasion and it was very thoughtful and sweet gesture we were welcomed with a lovely celebration treat in our room!! Parking was in the basement of the hotel very convenient and a nominal charge for this considering it is close to the centre. Breakfast was tasty and has lots of hot /cold options. Bar & cafe was good.Unfortunately we did not have time to experience the roof top pool and leisure facilities.... Staff very courteous and helpful. Good value for money. Would stay again & highly recommend

Reception area was excellent, welcome from all staff. Cleanliness of room; additional extras in room greatly appreciated. Ability of all staff to communicate with guests was appreciated.

The size of the swimming pool was a great disappointment. The pool was often too busy to even stand or access. The lack of sun parasols/umbrellas/ loungers or chairs was prohibitive to staying for any length of time in the heat/humidity of the day.

Everything perfect as usual at AC, extreme flexibility from the staff and very helpful with some requests. Position is good depending on personal needs, good connection with airport.

Location very good, 10 minute walk to centre. 20 minute taxi ride to airport. Bus station connecting you to everywhere in Spain just over the road!

All of the staff on the front desk during the whole stay were quite cold. No smiles from any of them. The rooms let in a lot of noise, we were on the 1st floor and could hear the breakfast table and chairs early in the morning.

very good location and the rooms are lovely. you get to center of Alicante in about 10 min walk

the Pool is tiny.. there’s about 6-7 seats there. it’s so crowded in summer.

food wasn’t the best but at least there’s something there if you don’t want to go to escaplanade
