Oasis Backpackers' Hostel Granada

The staff was friendly and they allow us to leave our luggae in their storage lockers in front of their check in counters (you will need to bring your own padlock). Convenient location at the city centre with walkable distance to Alhambra and other tourist attraction spots. Reachable by bus from the Granada Bus Station. Huge lockers are provided underneath the bed but again a reminder to bring your own padlocks.

It was not located at the main road and it was in between some alleys. We reached early in the morning when the sky is still dark so it was creepy when we are searching for it but other than that it was totally fine stay for us!

The communal Spaces are nice and comfortable, especially the terrace. It has a lovely with the Sierra Nevada in sight - perfect spot on a sunny day. The interior design of the building and the rooms is nice - the rooms feel quite natural and not the typical clinical feel of some hostels. Shower was nice and strong! Free tea! The location was perfect - amongst lovely quaint streets, everything within walking distance.

Lower bunks are quite low, but it’s not the end of the world. Kitchen facilities are not amazing but still everything you need is there!

1. Kitchen can be used even before check-in. Plenty of free food such as oil, salt, etc. 2. Free luggage storage before and after check-in with personal lock. Up to 28-inch carrier available. 3. Each dormitory has a separate shower room and toilet. However, it is quiet outside the room. 4. The location is great. The supermarket in the alley is the cheapest. Excellent accessibility to the observatory and Alhambra, anywhere.

Super social hostel that always had people lounging around the common areas and kitchen at all hours. Great price! Location was fantastic as it's right next to all the kebabs, tapas, and Arabic souvenir shops. Loved the private bathroom inside the room itself. My room had its own fridge which was such a luxury, and the kitchen even had a separate fridge for free food so I managed to grab some extra beers!

Mattress was quite springy, you could literally feel the springs inside. A few of the guests were not respectful of night time quiet hours.

Oasis Backpackers is a homely hostel, set in a traditional Andalusian building with a strong personality that encourages a warm and pleasant ambience and a seductive atmosphere. The neighbourhood in which it is located thrives with small shops and traditional commerce, and the architecture of buildings retains the old-world charm, clearly combined with modernisation. The hostel is clean, spacious, with large common areas and friendly staff who make people feel comfortable, the kitchen is large and well equipped. Many different environments allow guests to find the one that best suits their taste. I think it has everything you need to linger a few days, I noticed that not everyone was passing through and some had to stay a little longer. The prices are certainly good, especially compared to tourist destinations on the coast.

Great location, nice outdoors space, friendly people, and you can sleep with the windows open with almost no noise

The rooms are cleaned everyday, but it would be nice to have a more thorough cleaning more often (under the beds for instance, because there's space to store things there). Also, the shower and the sink drains were clogged. The AC and the fan were controlled by the staff. Although we ask them to turn it on or off, it would be nice to be able to do it ourselves, at least for the fan.

Comfortable wooden bunk beds in shared rooms. There is one designated bathroom for each room but it is separated from it; very convenient to keep away from the noise/light in the evening. The terrace and common area is very agreeable, which makes the stay nice both for resting at the hotel and venturing outside. Friendly staff, young and dynamic crew :) Overall, a super hotel, good location and "homie" vibes. Recommend !

This was a PERFECT hostel! The location is the best - right in the Albacín area which is the most beautiful and worth visiting in Granada. The area feels safe and right in the center, close to everything. The staff was super nice, especially the receptionist from Cádiz (forgot to ask for the name sorry)! Of course it had a cool travellers spirit, people were nice and friendly. The room was cosy, clean, had a private bathroom for our shared room. The hostel also has nice shared spaces like living room and fully equiped kitchen and also it has a beautiful rooftop when you can sunbath during the day! The check in starts at 13:30, they give the card from your room and the building (they take 5 eur cash deposit for the key so be ready to have it). The wifi was working well even though I did not use it too much. Would recommend choosing this place 100%

The only thing that the shared beds were small, so for tall people not too comfy (I was not even able to sit down in the bed since the head was touching the upper bed).

Me, Cacilda Alexo Brown and my friend Christina Hirschhorn, find the location exceptional , near to restaurants, shopas and buses. We also like the reception staff very much, particulary Michael, he gave us support, informations and hints about how to go to Nerja. We love Nerja! Michael is very polite professional and a great manager for Oasis Granada. Oasis Hostal is very organized and very clean.

A/C not always turned on unless we asked. Out door lights not always on .

Stayed in the apartment suite that is located away from the hostel property. Beautifully scenic gem. Everything was lovely. Consider though that this is more a home style stay than hotel or hostal room, more like an air bnb feel. This is perfect for a group of friends or a couple or two couple's. Also the contact from the hostel was great, he had some awesome recommendations for things not to miss in during our stay!

If you are driving into Granada make sure you get info about specific roads to take within Granada from the contact at the apartment who you will correspond with for the key hand off. I was not aware I needed to use his directions specifically for the few last roads leading to the property and used google maps (big mistake), it lead me down winding side roads that ended up getting too small for my car and it was a bit of a mess. The contact for the property helped us and ensured we got there but I would caution anyone to only use google maps to get to the point where the contacts direction start.
