Hotel Helios Lloret

The hotel is beautiful, in an excellent location. The hotel staff is extremely friendly. The room was beautiful, the beds extremely comfortable. It is cleaned every day and towels are changed every day. The food in the restaurant is outstanding. The plaza is very close. There are many restaurants and cafes around the hotel. I don't know what I could write when everything was perfect. The hotel deserves the highest possible rating. I recommend it to everyone. The staff is professional. The pool is beautiful and extremely clean. It's been a long time since I've been to such a good hotel. Praise! I wish you much success! Keep it up!

We truly loved our stay here. It is a very nice hotel with modern spacious rooms, a great pool, friendly and helpful staff and an incredibly tasty breakfast menu. The location is amazing, right on the main street and a 5 minute walk away from the beach. We are also grateful that hotel completed all of our wishes regarding the desired room. Thank you!

The hotel is centrally located with the bus station, beach and a large variety of bars and nightlife within a short walk. The hotel is modern, clean and well equipped. There is a nice bar area serving drinks and snacks with seating inside and outside around the pool area. The rooms are well proportioned with a small fridge for drinks and snacks. The bathroom facilities are great - large powerful shower. An ideal place to use as a base for a break in Lloret.

There was no facility to make hot drinks (coffee) in the room as there was no kettle provided. There was also no rubbish bin located in the main room, just a small one in the bathroom.

Lloret de Mar is a bit more on the touristy side, so if you prefer some place quieter, I would avoid this town altogether. As far as the hotel is concerned, it is located in the very center of the city and we have a nice room with a balcony facing the swimming pool in the back of the hotel. The room was nice, but sometimes there was noise coming from the hall (e.g., people shutting their doors during the night). The staff was really helpful and welcoming. The food selection was good, but surprisingly some meals lacked any flavour whatsoever (e.g. zucchini soup or fish were not salted at all). A big plus is that you can order a drink to the swimming pool.

The hotel was spotless. Staff work very hard to ensure high standards. The rooms are cleaned each day. Bed is made and fresh towels put in bathroom. The breakfast is very good with great choices. The dinner is good. Nice pool with lots of loungers .

Hotel I ordered toasted sandwiches and chips from the bar on two occasions at 2.pm The toast was cold and burnt. I informed the young at the bar and she laughed and said " I will tell him" Setvice was very slow for any snack ordered. After that I went to a local cafe for mid day snack. Also to order a taxi to Girona airport cost 80e when ordered at reception. This is not acceptable as when ordered from a different taxi company cost 55 euro 50% less than hotel price.

but would prefer not to be on the strip as noisy at night. Think some plain salads should be offered without tuna and egg or else a large bowl of salad that people can help themselves to Deserts not great

Breakfast - at least 3 types of eggs, various type of meat, cheese, lots of various buns (sweat and savory), fruits, musli bar, etc. Dinner - Hot grill station with a meat and a fish/sea food options, lots of different hot meals: pasta, pizza, stews, etc. at least 5 types of cakes. The drinks are not included but the prices are ok, a bottle of water (500ml) costs 1.80-1.90 EUR. Location - the hotel is located on the busiest street :) There are several night clubs around and lots of bars, so if the room is facing the street then it get can pretty noisy at night. But the windows are good enough and the A/C is awesome to keep the windows shut. It is around 200-300m to the beach. There are many supermarkets around, as well as bars and fast food joints (McDonald's, Burger King, etc). Room - our regular twin room had a small fridge, a TV, 2 different pillows (a soft one and a harder one), balcony with 3 ropes for clothes drying. Parking - it is impossible to park around the hotel for free during the high season. There are several underground parking garages nearby. The cost varies from 12 to 20-22 EUR per 24h. But especially on Saturday night all the parking garages are full. It seems to be the partying time and many people are coming to the town. One can try to find a free spot on free public parkings in 15-20 min walking distance from the hotel but not on the weekends and evenings.

Minors: Sometimes the food quality (taste) might vary. a couple of times the Paella at dinner was lacking any flavour. The deserts in the evening are mostly unfrozen supermarket cakes. Water could be included to the dinner menu for free. The quality of the bar is far from what I would expect. We have ordered 2 cocktails once: a margarita and a daiquiri and both were just lemon juice. We asked the barmen if it was expected and he said that doesn't know the concrete recipe and that 20ml of the tequila/rum is expected plus the lemon juice. The cocktails cost 6 EUR, not too cheap to have such a quality. After that we didn't try to order anything at the bar.

the property is in a good place on the high street, not far from the bus station, beach, shops, food, the hotel it’s self was perfect, staff are lovely, food at the hotel was lovely, the hotel is really clean, and the pool area is lovely to! our beds were comfortable, the shower was great (didn’t want to get out of it) couldn’t hardly hear the noise from the high street with the patio door closed, also the aircon!

Very friendly and helpful personnel 🍀We arrived just after dinner had finished, so we contacted the receptionist to ask if it was possible to leave us some food. When we arrived, our table had been set up with tasty dinner 👌🥰 The food was always fresh, diverse and tasty. In the morning you can get a freshly-fried ommelette, eggs or pancakes. For dinner there is always grilled meat and fish. The beds are very comfortable and there is a safe in the room (free). The rooms are cleaned every day (unless you decide to skip cleaning once or twice). The hotel is located very close to the bus station, market, supermarkets, beach and the cozy old centre.

Since there are lots of discos around, it can be rather noisy, day and night. But, the hotel cannot do much about it, of course. Well, we slept with the balcony open and ear-plugs in, so it was fine. Closing the balcony also damps the noise considerably, and you can turn on the airco if needed.

The food was definitely worth the money. The staff in the restaurant are very attentive. The location is great - close to the downtown, bus station, and the beach. The pool area is very cozy, well taken care of, and clean. All rooms have balconies. Our room was 'street view', which in fact is also a mountain view. We really enjoyed it.

Balconies have bright lamps, that cannot be switched off. The black-out curtains definitely have to be shut close for the night. Luckily they help!
