Staff, and the location, just 1 minute walking distance to Plaza Castilla station

Noise, you can hear conversations on the rooms close by, noise if they were cleaning up early in the morning

The location to metro was ideal. The access to the parking garage and the garage itself were easy to access. The room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, especially since we didn't speak the language. The value for the room was a great deal.

There was nothing that the hotel could do better. It was a little scary walking up to it for the first time, there was debri in the roads and sidewalks and graffiti on structures around the property. The sidwalks outside of the building were also in need of repairs.

What I liked the most is that they adapted to the room style suggestion I made due to some circumstances and did not put any problem or cost involved, fast and friendly staff.

If you check Exe Hotel at Booking you can see they fix an hour to go in to the hotel during the day and do the check in and we did not want to lose the room so we went before 12pm (last hour) to do the check in but they told us it was not necessary to go there at 12 or before, that we could have gone there at 2am. Before going there we were calling to the hotel waiting 5 minutes in the line but they did not answer the phone.

The location has a Plaza Castilla Metro and Bus station at walking distance that makes it very confortable Front desk personal is very kind it has mc donalds, taco bell, small market for water, burger king, KFC and Popeyes at walking distance the 3 person rooms are excelent, i would recomend this rooms even if you are two persons, its worth it

The elevators have not enough capacity for the people at breakfast and chekout times i recomed to ask for high floors, if not, all the elevators come down crowded from hieghher floors and you must wait up to 20 minutes to get a free elevator, or take an elevator going up and then go down to the breakfast hall There is no Ice available at the instalations there is no wired internet although there is a connector port

Housekeeping and in particular Erica provides an excellent and effective services. Both the room and bathroom were kept spotless clean. As regarding reception, Tomás is the best employee the hotel has. A true professional, very friendly, helpful and most efficient. Without a doubt, he is a real asset to the hotel.

Lack of facilities. No kettle if we wanted to have a coffee in the room. As a result of the faulty soap bottles placed in the bathroom, we have no alternative but to buy soap so we could wash our hands.

The hotel is very well connected, as it lies directly at the metro exit and there are several restaurants in the surrounding area. The room was very spacious and clean, extra hygiene measures were taken in relation to COVID. Breakfast has a wide selection, although I had the impression it was abounding more in sweet stuff and there were no fresh vegetables. But the price of breakfast was good.

When I arrived, the room was extremely hot and there was no way to turn off the heating. Unfortunately, the only way they could stop it was to switch off the fuse in the room and then to open the window to cool the room. As a person trying to be mindful about the use of resources, I was very sad to see this waste of energy. I think that in today's world, a more sensible approach is needed, to save valuable resources. A huge centralized heating system, that cannot be controlled at room level, is no longer appropriate and maybe they need to think about a more sustainable solution.

We liked everything, we visited friends who live in this area and the hotel was perfect located, the metro station is just 2 min from the hotel, the family room had 2 separate rooms and both were big. The breakfast has many choices and there are many places to eat around the hotel.

we were just confused with the supplying of the toilet paper, we had to ask when it was finished as the cleaner didnt leave the extra roll. this was really strange.

Good size of the room. Very clean and confortable. The size of the bathroom very good as we were a family of 3. And such and excellent location as we were able to jump into the subway from a very short walking distance.

No complains at all. Only one night was a bit noisy (coming from the street on a Saturday night) but not for long.

Location is great and just in front of Plaza Castilla Metro station. Easy to connect with the city and some food options around.

Access to the hotel is a bit complicated if you’re traveling with many bags. From Castellana you have to walk around the pedestrian fence and from the interior street you have to go up some stairs, which is not convenient if you have many bags. Despite having the ‘do not disturb’ sign on my door knob and having payed for late checkout I got disturbed 3 times by the housekeeping lady.

The room was extremely spacious, the bed is extremely big and comfy, the breakfast is very good The location is very close to the train station (Madrid Campoamor) which makes reaching locations in the City as well as long distance locations quite easy.

The bathroom window's cover was quite flimsy, extra care needed when rising/lowering it.
