Boutique Hotel H10 Villa de la Reina

Location is superb at the Gran Via. Within walking distance to all the wonderful restaurants, Mercado San Miguel, and Plaza Mayor. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices, particularly as I’m gluten free. Very clean hotel. Beds are SOO comfortable.

We didn’t book breakfast with our booking, chose to eat one morning and thought a little expensive at €22 per person

It’s a lovely hotel, comfortable beds,very clean & well cared for. The staff were friendly & helpful, there’s a varied & very good buffet breakfast & delicious coffee. A very nice lobby/bar. Location seems pretty central.

Our standard twin room was a bit tight, didn’t care for the inside location. Shower had great water pressure, nice temperature controls but invariably the bathroom floor was quite wet in spite of being careful. Bar & restaurant items seemed high but probably not more than any other touristed place. The hotel needs to provide better tourist maps. The print was so tiny it was barely readable.

We had a deluxe room with a lovely terrace.. the weather was sunny during our stay and we enjoyed relaxing on the terrace soaking up the sun and atmosphere of this wonderful city. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful.

There was really nothing not to like.. but if I had to choose something then it would be the heating in the room did not work that well.

I would rate all the staff highly especially Victoria on reception who was so helpful. Loved the interior design. Very good selection for breakfast. Room was clean, quiet and bed comfortable. Excellent location. I was able to walk to most of the places I wanted to visit. Metro and bus stop close by.

Lack of natural light in bedroom. But as I was out most of the day didn't.matter to much.

Location is great, Gran Via offers anything you want and hotel is very close to metro station. Lobby, bar/restaurant area is fine. Some more dining tables would make eating more comfortable. Room was comfortable enough and had the advantage of being on a small street rather than Gran Via and therefore was quiet. The problem was the size of the room, which forces you to bend to get round the foot of the bed to get to the bathroom and window. Breakfast in the basement dining room was reasonable, but not remarkable.

We had two rooms. The suite was extremely spacious and updated. One of my favorite hotel rooms ever. Even a separate tea service from coffee in the room which is a great touch. The outdoor patio with jacuzzi was fantastic. Breakfast and dinner were both very good. Love the decor in the lobby, especially the old elevator. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The second room for our two teenagers was way too small and the bathroom needed to be updated a bit more. For one person that is just transiting through Madrid it would be acceptable but I would not recommend the smallest room choice beyond that.

We enjoyed the hotel location, within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Easy access to transportation. A private bathroom.

The fact the English speaking TV, (news channels, movies, etc.) was not available at this hotel. Netflix would have been a nice option. Also, a lack of towels and (wash clothes). The ironing board situation was inconvenient, do people really still irons? The iron was oddly attached to the ironing board in a most inconvenient way!

Great Location and super friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean. Bathroom had a nice set of toiletries and good quality soap and cream.

Pricy for what it is, just a hotel room in Madrid. We asked for a double bed and got 2 singles put together as a double... Breakfast was ok but nothing from another world. Pastry and pancakes was not the best...

We arrived at reception early, our suitcases were tagged and we were able to store them in a special room. There was a capsule coffee machine in the room with good coffee. Slippers and a packet of basic toiletries were ready in the bathroom. The hotel is located 10 minutes from the bus stop to the airport. All the main sights and shops are within walking distance.

Our room was quite small for 3 people and a bit dark.

The location is everything! We also liked the charm of the building, especially the lobby. Our bed was also big and comfortable.

Housekeeping did not replenish our 2 bottles of water everyday for our 5 night stay. Our coffee pods in the room were also not replenished daily. There was also no bidet in the bathroom.
