Hotel Born

Centrally located, wonderful building with inner courtyard. Excellent service from both gentlemen on reception, who accommodated our elderly parents' request for a twin ground floor room without hesitation... and even upgraded our room to a first floor suite with free minibar. Would definitely return

I'm not sure I can think of anything negative to write - certainly about the hotel itself. Be advised the hotel sits near the end of a one-way street. Our taxi driver from the airport chose to drop us in the square, which meant a 50m walk up the street with baggage, which wasn't ideal, especially with elderly parents. The hotel can be reached by car and you just need to insist that the driver takes you to the door.

Staying at Born Hotel was an amazingly relaxing escape from everything busy in life, rating everything as exceptional because it was. Staff were amazing, so friendly and very professional. Breakfast exceeded our expectation with so many choices including avocado + egg on toast to order. Great cocktails at the bar! The huge bed was incredibly comfortable, and location was exactly where we wanted to be. Be aware there's no lift in this beautiful old building, but the amazing staff delivered our cases to our room and offered to bring down when we left, so didn't miss the lift personally. All in all, the most perfect city break, only negative I can provide was the having to leave, but, we will be back, can't wait! Our thanks to all at Born Hotel.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and is in a fantastic location, just off the main centre of Palma. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

It is a shame there isn't a lift at the property, as our room was on the 3rd floor, but we understand that it is a very old and elegant building and that a lift would somewhat spoil the look of the interior, Also, it was very noisy late at night with the widow open in our bedroom, as our room was overlooking the courtyard where the noise echoed from neighbouring restaurant kitchens when they were clearing up at the end of the night. We used the air con the 2nd night which was better.

The hotel itself was excellent, beautiful and ornate throughout, The staff were very helpful at all times. The breakfast was sufficient although I never like buffet style breakfasts anywhere. The location was good for what we wanted to see which was the old part of the town and the cathedral. Also very near to excellent bars and restaurants.

Not the hotels fault in any respect but we were on the first floor which, without a lift and bad knees was a challenge both going up and coming down. It is surprising when you are in this situation how regularly you use them. Our room was above the bar and restaurant area and the noise at night meant we did not sleep until the bar closed at approx 12.00am.

the location is exceptional for walking to all the historic sights - the staff were fabulous and very helpful. Great breakfast which you can take indoors or outside in the delightful courtyard. very well appointed and clean. car rental nearby super helpful recommended by hotel.

it didn’t deter us but it was a Palace and has no lift. lots of stairs ask for a lower floor if not too agile. staff will bring luggage up or down. courtyard to breakfast room be careful on step as there is an annoying rung.

It is a lovely hotel. Very central and perfect to explore from. Although the bar was not open we still had access to the courtyard for breakfast which was very nice. The staff were very friendly.

When we arrived the courtyard bar was closed. We love having a drink and/or food out there so we were disappointed to see this was closed. I feel we should have been advised of this at the time of booking. The guy on reception explained that the bar is run by an outside company who had not arrived to set up, so they were having to look for an alternative company.

Very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast range and a fantastic location so easy to get to the centre of everything - shops, bars and restuarants

The courtyard area was closed so there was therefore no bar and no restaurant and nowhere to get a hot drink when returning in the evening (the rooms only have coffee making facilities). On one request the receptionist did open up the kitchen but the second time I was told to wait 15 minutes then a bar down the street would be open (it was raining and I wanted a hot cup of tea)

- staff at the reception desk, very kind and helpful (the nice boys there kindly solved our requests related to room change and late check out; in addition, they advised us about the orientation through Palma, giving us valuable indications) - spacious and clean room - large and well-equipped bathroom - very good breakfast (even with the possibility of ordering À la carte) - great location: in Old Town, 5-10 minutes from the Cathedral, 10-15 minutes from Estació Intermodal

- it is a noisy hotel (from the patio bar, from the neighboring rooms, from the service courtyard); our room, however, was a pretty good one

The location was central but quiet. The food was excellent and tasty. The staff were welcoming. The cleanliness was 5 star and our room cleaned every day. Meals in the courtyard were so much nicer than sitting indoors. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. I can’t wait to return. The whole experience was so much more than I expected. Thank you to the whole team.

There wasn’t anything. We ran out of water and coffee pods and the receptionist replaced them immediately.

Just stayed here for my Wife's 40th Birthday trip. I contacted the hotel weeks before to arrange a bottle of Cava in the room and told them our arrival time with was in the morning. When we arrived our room was ready and they had the cava ready which they said was complemtsry with a note saying Happy Birthday. Lovely gesture. The Hotel is elegant in the heart of the Old Town Centre close to the port, cathedrals and many restaurants and bars. The staff was great nothing was an issue and went out their way to make our trip there special. Great hotel and would 100% stay again thank you
