Hotel PAX Torrelodones

Friendly welcoming staff, room was clean well-appointed with quality complimentary personal hygiene products making the stay here exceptional value for the price paid

The restaurant, Having stayed at the PAX on numerous previous occasions, frequenting the restaurant with its evening menu providing the perfect "icing on the cake" to a stay at the PAX, sumptuous Spanish dishes, and attentive staff cooking the food to your personal liking, how disappointing then to find this stay a very limited menu, and different staff. However seeing a favourite dish of ours still on the menu gave it a go. Warm Goats Cheese Salad was ordered, Cheese was straight from the fridge, accompanied by "plastic bag" salad leaves and a couple of tomato slices, nothing else! On our return we ventured into Torreldones and found traditional Spanish fayre in abundance, a must for only a 10 min walk.

The staff were great. We arrived several hours earlier than we had told the hotel and they made a room available to us. We had to leave at 6am for the airport and there was a multi-lingual staff member at the front desk and a 24 hr help-yourself coffee and snacks room available at no charge. We had not expected a such high-end hotel at this price. We also loved walking the town center and found an Indian restaurant for dinner. This town and hotel will become our standard for early morning flights out of Madrid.

The sign facing the street doesn't have the words PAX on it so we went around the area a couple of times before realizing this was the place. A minor thing but it was surprising.

Clean with lovely staff. Breakfast was good.

12:00 check out but the pool didn’t open until 11:30? Would have been nice to start the day with a swim and the pool was one of the reasons we booked this hotel.

The proximity to the highway means a constant noise level outside on the balcony and in the garden. Inside, one does not hear it though.

The rooms were very spacious and compfortable, the gardens and pool were lovely too and the staff very friendly. We were on our way to another destination and stopped for the night at the hotel to rest.

There's no restaurant for lunch or dinner, there's only breakfast on site.

We frequently use this hotel as a stop over when driving from Santander to Granada as it is ideally located and within walking distance of a great shopping centre with restaurants, cafes, cinema,bowling alley etc. The rooms have WiFi and are comfortable and the breakfasts are very good value for money - we even take doggy bags for the rest of our journey.

Hotel has great location and safe parking. Outdoor swimming pool is clean and big enough to swim in it.Towels are offerred by the reception.. Javier, the receptionist was extremely kind and helpful. Hotel restaurant was closed but he helped us with ordering food to the hotel .

Hotel restaurant could be open every day and swimming pool could work longer than till 7p.m.

A fantastic experience thank you so much! We treated so well by staff! The beds were super comfy with great decor & style! Bed sheets were super nice to sleep on! Everything was perfect thank you!

Excellent accommodation, I even got a free upgrade due to a large group staying in the hotel. The room was always very clean, towels were exchanged daily and the bed was always made.

Location good for hospital and supermarkets and shopping centre but a bit of a hike into town over bridge which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.
