Good location, close to the centre of Bern. We loved that you got free public transport during your stay, with regular buses right outside the hotel. Clean room and a great bed, really comfortable.

I had one weird interaction at reception about borrowing an adaptor. I was given a quick/dismissive response saying they didn't have any, even though I had just seen someone hand one back. I think she just didn't want to deal with the query and generally didn't seem helpful.

Brand new hotel, very well insulated, clean & very modern design. The breakfast at CHF 14 is great value for money, would definitely recommend it: great variety & plentiful. Good location & premises.

The double rooms would benefit from an extra chair. Would also add a spare pillow.

Exceptional Stay at prizeotel Bern-City Our experience at prizeotel Bern-City was truly outstanding. The hotel offers an excellent price-to-value ratio and impressive highlights such as the friendly reception staff and the incredible breakfast! The staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their warm hospitality added an extra touch of excellence to our stay. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breakfast buffet. The selection was extensive and included a variety of delicious options to suit all tastes. The high-quality ingredients and attention to detail in presentation made it a true delight to start each day with such a fantastic breakfast experience. Overall, prizeotel Bern-City exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend this modern hotel for a wonderful experience in Bern.

Could have used more directions for garage upfront, it was confusing.

1) This hotel is an exceptional property in the budget hotel class offering. You get a very clean, modern, comfortable, roomy, and quiet room. Our double bed was very comfortable. We are two adults who stayed as Bern City tourists for three nights during the Easter holiday weekend. If you expect room service, a personal coffee machine, facial tissues, shampoo, body wash, and a personal refrigerator in your hotel room, go ahead and pay for those amenities at another location. If you are a savvy traveler who appreciates a hotel performing strongly in the budget class, this is a great property. 2) The hotel location is exactly at Bus Stop Schoenburg, It is a fast, easy 6-8 minutes bus ride. If you are comfortable with public transportation, look for the number 10 bus from Bern HBF direction title on the bus sign is Ostermundigen Ruti. 3) You receive a Bern City local transport pass for the occupants of the room for zones 100/101 to download as an app upon check-in at Prizeotel. 4) The Coop grocery store shares part of the building complex and is located about 50 meters from the hotel entry. 5) The rooftop bar on the 7th floor at the Prizeotel offers drinks at a fair price for the cozy atmosphere and fantastic view of Bern City and if you are lucky the Alps as well. 6) The beautiful Rose Garden has a side entrance about 125 meters from the hotel entry. The walking/running paths and viewpoints of Bern City are incredible. The Rose Garden restaurant has a lovely terrace with views. 7. The Italian pizza across the street from the Prizeohotel is pleasant and offers tasty fresh pizza, pasta, and drinks at fair prices. 8. We did not add breakfast to our stay because we're not big breakfast eaters. It appeared that most guests do enjoy the breakfast buffet. 9. Our 5th-floor view included a view of a neighborhood and the street entry area of the hotel. Outside noise did not disturb our stay. 10. Check-in was fast. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Big hotel, clean, quiet, away from the crowd but a bus stop just in front of the door takes you to Bern old city. The hotel offers a free transportatin pass for the historic region. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy check in and check out, just put the key in a box on the counter of the reception. Big room with many electric plugs to recharge phones. We had a corner room with a view of the street from one side and of the old city from the other side. very close to Rosengarten. there is a coop supermarket just next door, with a gym above it, and a small pizzeria in front of it, next to the bus station with a vending machine.

Sleek interior. Larger shower than other European accommodations. Comfortable bed. Windows opened for fresh air. Open spaces for larger luggages. The room wasn't too packed with needless decor. Great location. Quiet. Nice rooftop bar and view. Close to grocery store.

AC didn't appear to work. Or if it did work, it seemed to have a setting preventing us from turning the temperature down to 20C and turning the fan speed up. Windows opening up was Game-changing. It got stuffy at times after two showers. A more powerful AC would have been nice. That being said we never mentioned anything about the AC to the front desk, so it didn't bother us enough to make a fuss about it. However we traveled in May. This might be an issue in hotter summer months.

Modern, well maintained building. Clean, good sized room. Great staff, especially at breakfast. Wide choice of breakfast food. Parking garage with easy access and big parking spaces. Nice rooftop bar with terrace offering views over the city and surrounding mountains. Good location right by the Rosengarten, and halfway between the old town and Expo area.

The room was well designed and maintained, but it was very sparsely equipped, especially for how much it cost. Gasket in shower door was damaged and water leaked onto the floor. I guess nothing is cheap in Switzerland, but I have never paid so much for a stay in a 2 star hotel, and I hope I never will again.

The rooms were modern, funky, spacious and comfortable! Perfect for a couple of nights stay around for the Eurogames! It was centrally located- within walking distance from Bern center with also a bus on the doorstep! It was great that accomodation also came with free Bern travel on bus and trams etc! The hotel offered each guest a free drink in the bar on arrival with a token (nice touch). The hotel has a COOP right beside it, which was relatively cheap (for Bern prices).

The air con didn’t work properly, the room was constantly 24.5degs. Breakfast could have easily been added to the room rate since the breakfast on offer was practically croissant and a selection of ham. The rooftop bar closed too early!

- They let us in the room before check-in time because it was ready :), that was great because we hadn't slept on the trip from Spain. - The breakfast is great and very complete. - The location is very good, with a supermarket (Coop) and public transport stop at the door. - They provide you with a public transport voucher for Bern when you arrive at the hotel. - Wifi works properly to work.

- Double rooms don´t have two chairs. - The closet is small for two people. - You have to bring adapters for the plugs. ****But it is not a negative assessment, it is just a note.
