Hôtel Longemalle

Perfect location in Old Town! The hotel is immaculate, and the staff lovely. The rooms are small, but very well appointed.

This is trivial, but would have liked if the hotel replenished the water bottles every day. Also, since it’s a four star hotel, most places leave complimentary snacks, or even a piece of chocolate…it is Switzerland after all ;)

- Windows: unfortunately we heard everything from outside, first night there was an outside concert in English garden till midnight and we couldn’t sleep because of horrible noise, second night was better because there wasn’t any concert however still we heard everything from outside, thus falling asleep was quite a challenge - Bed- despite the fact that it was very comfortable, we chose an “ one big queen bed”, unfortunately it wasn’t one queen bed but 2 single beds combined, I’d prefer to get bed as I booked, calling a combination of 2 beds “one queen bed” is misleading. - Breakfast- from vegetarian point of view there is almost nothing to eat, every day the same breakfast.

The location was great, a few minutes walk from the lake's promenade and a 30 second walk from Starbucks. I liked that bathroom had two sinks. The hairdryer was s Swiss brand and very powerful. Hair products were expensive. There was a complimentary public transport card from the Hotel for the duration of our stay. Breakfast was served at the open terrace on the second floor overlooking the fountain.

The mattress was a bit too soft. The room is quite small. On the way to the bathroom, it is quite easy to hit the TV that hangs on the wall, because the passage between the wall and the bed is very narrow. The air conditioning control panel didn't dim at night and glowed very brightly, disturbing our sleep. There was no oat milk for coffee at the breakfast, only soy.

Location perfect and great friendly staff Breakfast variety could be improved.

very modern and stylish interiors. excellent location very close to the lake and a few minutes walk to the old town. very modern clean room and bathroom with a fantastic shower. lovely decoration. beautiful breakfast room serving a very nice breakfast. only a few minutes walk to the free water taxi service to get to other side of the lake.

would be even better if the hotel had a hotel bar area to enjoy a drink, in addition to the restaurant. complimentary water in the room each day would have been appreciated.

Breakfast was unacceptable with any standards. Otherwise it was great, so regretful that the low quality low choice breakfast ruined the experience a bit.

The location is fantastic. The hotel is beautiful.

We had a tiny room on the top floor, the wooden beams from the roof made it difficult to walk around freely in the room. We also assumed we could use the hotel restaurant for dinner on the evening we arrived but we were told the restaurant is very popular locally so there was no availability, the reason we booked was to have the convenience of a hotel with facilities we could use.

The hotel staff were lovely and really accommodating to our questions and offered assistance when needed. The communal decor was beautiful and it had such a nice feeling - mixing contemporary designs and furniture, with classic elements. We stayed in two rooms and I felt like one of the rooms was certainly more modern looking than the other which looked a little tired. We had rooms facing the front of the hotel and it was great to see Lake Geneva from our mini balcony and window. The location is perfect and this is what swayed us to stay here, but I'm so glad we did and would definitely return.

As we were travelling in a group, I did put a request in to see if we could have rooms located closely near each other or an interlinked room, but this request wasn't met and we were on a different floor. I think I'd score the hotel top marks if they had been able to accommodate this request as it would have made the trip smoother in terms of finding items between the various bags of luggage!

The location was excellent. it was a nice clean room. The staff we’re friendly and helpful. They all spoke excellent English.

There was nothing I didnt like. We had a couple of small issues which the staff handled very well. We arrived early and left our cases. We came back around 3:30pm and our room still wasn’t ready so the sat us in the bar with complimentary drinks until it was ready. The other issue was our dinner booking had not been recorded. The head waiter went out of his way to ensure we got a table.
