A one-night stop on my e-bike ride through the Emmental, this was a perfect place to sleep! Atmospheric old farmhouse, friendly staff family, pleasant, quiet and clean room (I was happily surprised with an upgrade!), peaceful garden, nice breakfast! But also utilities to make your own meals. Great experience to have stayed under one of the giant roofs of a genuine swiss farmhouse! Would have chosen this again! Good place for families!

The lodge is beautiful and I love the history of it. The rooms were great. But the best part was the management. They helped me locate my great grandfather's home with just a photograph, and did some personal leg work to make sure we found the right place. They also had wonderful recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Our stay was short but it was wonderful because of everything they did to help make it great!

Very nice place. The owner gave us a proper tour. She was really nice. The kitches was big and had a lot of facilities that we could use. The pool table was nice to end our day.
Because of the wooden floor you can hear the people walking. But overall we had a good night sleep.
