Holiday Inn Express Johnson City, an IHG Hotel

.Very clean. Quiet. Close to everything.

Dont ask for early check in. That request was met with great attitude. Booking.com says check in at 3 (asked if we could get room at 2) Hotel says check in is at 4, ask for any accommodations on that and told we shouldn't have booked with 2nd party, no "I'm sorry thats a mistake" or "let me see what we can do to help you" Was just told we'd be lucky if we even got a room at 4. Tried to mention to the person who actually checked us in and she was dismissive at best about my concerns of wrong information and/or poor response and customer service from her coworker.

We were in the area taking our son to Orientation at ETSU. We live in Indiana so it was a 6 and a half hour drive to Johnson City. The facility it's self was really nice and the staff was very polite and willing to help. The beds were comfy and were just what we needed to get a good nights rest before orientation the next day. The breakfast and coffee were really good. The Mexican Restaurant across the parking lot was really good, definitely suggest trying that as well. We had a really nice trip, thank you!

The staff was amazing with answering all of my questions. Extremely nice and polite. More than willing to help and provide us with any extra items we were needing. Our room was extremely spacious. There were 3 of us in a double queen room. Traveled for Nursing Boards and the hotel was located right off of exit 17. Only a 5 minute drive to exit 19 where all the attractions were. Super quick easy access to the highway. Had an issue with my room key not wanting to work and they immediately helped fix it. There was someone always at the front desk ready to help! Overall, my stay was fantastic and I couldn’t have picked a better hotel!

Staff was very helpful and accommodating despite the fact they were working short. Over the past 14 months I've stayed in 5/6 different hotels between Erwin, Jonesborough, and Johnson City for business. I wish this would've been my 1st place I picked. If I ever have 2 come back out there I won't stay anywhere else. The mattresses were pretty comfortable for a hotel bed. And the breakfast had a decent selection.

Wish the hotel pool would be for 18 and over from 8p-10p. Or 10p-12a.

The breakfast was delicious and I loved all the options, particularly the egg white veggie omelette and turkey sausage. I wish other hotels incorporated healthier options such as those. Very pleased with the bed and the pillows too.

There was nothing I didn’t really like. Although I did notice one of the towels was dirty in our room although it was arranged as if it hadn’t been used.

Nice breakfast location, great employee managing it.

The dude at the front desk both evenings was fairly rude. Our room did not have towels and the phone didn't work to call the front desk. So I went down to ask for towels and he made it seem like it was somehow my fault that I had to. And the coffee at breakfast was appallingly weak.

We have been to this location many times and have never been disappointed. Rooms are clean and staff professional. We value the affordability and look forward to our next trip when back in TN.

The breakfast could include fruit or more gluten free friendly options.

Gabe as always was amazing, we love staying at your hotel. We are usually there 3 to 4 times a year to visit family in the area. Love it!!

It's not a didn't like, just you need to work on your hot tub looks a bit rough for such an amazing hotel! Pool is great and both are a must with 2 kiddos!!!

The property was very clean and quiet, My sister and I took my grandchildren to the Wetlands Water Park and we stayed one night at the hotel. It was a nice Hotel, the pool was very clean and the children had a great time. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was so kind.

The only thing I can say that was negative, was the floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed which the beds and bathroom were very clean just looked like they forgot to vacuum before they left.

The location was easy to find, right off of the interstate. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very welcoming and friendly.

The pool heater was broken while we were there and the bathrooms at the pool were less than clean. Also they require a $10 hold on a debit/credit card which I haven't even been asked for before.
