SpringHill Suites by Marriott Amarillo

Lovely facility. Beautiful room with all of the amnesties. The beds were very comfortable, the room was quiet, and the room layout was ideal, providing an efficient desk area plus a comfortable sofa alternative. Nice breakfast in an upbeat environment. Staff were friendly and efficient. We come through Amarillo twice a year. I'll most certainly stay here again.

Nothing that directly impacted my stay. The outside entrance could use a little attention, its striped bare and makes a bad first impression.

Breakfast was OK, but the sausage patties are no good. Please use real sausage like Owens or Jimmy Dean please.

Location is good in Amarillo close to main arteries. The receptionists are friendly and thorough. The entire building is nice, clean, and modern. The doulble-queen room is beautifully decorated and very large. Lots of amenities and comfort features abound. The bathroom is extremely nice and large and clean. The TV remote is easy to operate and channel guide on DISH Network is easy to use and find. In room AC works very well. Lots of pillows and great bed linens. Free breakfast in lobby is good. So glad plenty of choices including scrambled eggs and sausage. Nice small gym on site. Free on-site parking is a real bonus.

If every room included a strong box to lock up a laptop.

The staff attempted to find a pool for us to use. The room was very clean, beds were comfy and it was quiet.

We arrived in the evening after a 15 hr travel day with 3 small boys. We booked the hotel specifically for the pool access so the boys could get some energy out and be able to rest. We were immediately told at check-in that the pool had been closed, even though it was not noted on the website when booking. Fortunately, the staff attempted to find a sister hotel to use their pool. We had to drive to another hotel - Residence Inn to let the boys swim. We wouldn't have booked the hotel had we known we wouldn't be able to use the pool.

The location was great! The room was clean and had everything we needed! The breakfast was good! Our TV quit working and we were quickly moved to a new room. The front desk clerk comped us some snacks from the store for the inconvenience! I was impressed with that customer service! You don't see that often enough these days:)

The pool area trashcans were overflowing, which made for a strong smell while swimming.

The room had ample space, a great sofa as well as a desk area. The room’s layout was one of the best ones I’ve had for that size suite. You could just tell it was thoughtfully designed. The closet was huge and everything was in pristine condition. We will definitely be booking again.

Always enjoy this Spring Hill location. Staff always so friendly and helpful. Rooms are always clean and so comfy. Love the bar. Great to have a cocktail after a long day of driving. This was my 5th stay at this location in Amarillo. Have also enjoyed Spring Hill Suites in New Mexico and Virginia. Always the best stay.

Hotel is pretty fresh and clean, interesting design

Poor breakfast with small breakfast time window (7 to 9 am only) Bathroom door without a lock - it's good for a couple but not for a family

The king room was very nice and quiet. The bathroom shower was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the separate desk/sitting area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating! Restaurants in the next lot you can walk to! It was nice to stretch our legs and not get back in the car to get food.

I couldn’t get my coffee pot to work properly. I filled it with water but less than half brewed. It was 3am when we left so it could’ve been human error. I didn’t even bother the front desk with it!

the rooms were nicely laid out, everything was clean, and the staff were quite nice!

The continental breakfast was pretty sad this stay. Last time I stayed here it was fantastic though, so I’m hoping it was just a fluke!
