The home cooked food was excellent...the Raki too. Impeccable room...we even stayed an extra day. But what struck us the most, which means that we would surely return to this place is that my son needed medical services during our stay, not easy to find which hospital to go with the insurance company. We inquired with the owners couple and immediately they said that her husband would bring us to the hospital near their home. He stayed with us the whole time we spent, which was over an hour. And during all the rest of our stays they made sure that my son was well. A real family spirit that feels good!

The location was perfect. We had room 115 with the big balcony and it was wonderful being able to sit out and see all the sites of berat from there! There is parking but it's limited and may mean you need to leave your keys with them to do some car shuffling.

I would have rated it higher but we had a bug problem in our room....initially we thought they were bed bugs but we then realised they were everywhere including outside on the balcony. It was just disconcerting having bugs running around your bed. We were only there one night so didn't complain.

My room was huge and spotless, with a massive balcony. You have a fully functioning kitchen of your own in the room. I almost forgot to say you also have a luxury ensuite bathroom. You have everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Breakfast was not included in my stay. Still, the family made me breakfast and brought it to my room. It was delicious! They knew I was alone and not feeling so well. They looked after me like their own. The whole family was awesome! They went to the shops with me. Drove me to an ATM. They brought fruit up to my room. They didn't have to do any of those things. The view from my balcony was stunning. In this day and age, you don't always see such kindness. The whole place really was spotless.

There was nothing I didn't like about the family and home. I had everything I needed. It would be better to have a car. It is a village location. The tourist trap is not too far.

We spent three nights here in a double room with a big balcony overlooking the neighbouring mosque and old town. The views from the balcony were terrific. Our room was spacious and felt newly furnished. The staff were friendly and seemed very hard working. One morning our bathroom had no running water and this was quickly addressed. We got a load of wash done and it was returned largely damp (as it was hung outside) but we were able to finish drying it on our bed and on the balcony during the day. The location was excellent and a short walk to Berat Castle.

The hotel only accepted cash. The breakfasts were the same each day - some variety would have been nice. The wifi was really slow and kept dropping out.

The location is probably the best in Berat. View from our room was breathtaking. The staff were brilliant. Special mention to Iris and others in the reception. Breakfast was great too.

For this price, they should have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Bathroom didn't feel premium- ish. We wanted breakfast in the room as we have a small baby. I had to carry the food to the room myself - would have been happy to pay for room service charge if there was an option.

Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, spoke perfect English and helped us in anyway we needed. It is close to everything, we parked the car and didn't use it until it was time to leave. Our room was on the top floor, so it only had skylights, which for us it was okay - it was what we selected. View from the hotel shared balcony is amazing, specially at night with all the street lights Based on reviews, we decided to have dinner here, and we were not disappointed! Food was delicious and they served us this home made red wine that was amazing (for those who enjoy more bitter/less sweet wines). Breakfast was good and filling, perfect to get us tied up until a late lunch. One of the best stays in our Albania tour and would definitely go back.

The location is very good, in the heart of old town. Private Parking is provided. Room was ok size, not too small. Bathroom was quite small but effective. Room had a balcony, but only with 1 chair. Staff was very friendly.

First thing asked when we checked in was payment, cash only, no receipt given. Breakfast was very simple, no effort put into it, and we were only allowed 1 cup of coffee!! On our last day we were confronted with a power cut, in the whole area, not so nice with temperatures around 40 degrees, and no airco..

The location and the view here is beautiful. The hotel's nicely finished, combining the new with the old. The balcony overlooking the city provides a great place to further enjoy Berat after a long day of walking around and enjoying this beautiful UNESCO site. The only downside was the overly simple breakfast that they provided, which consisted of a plain omelet (essentially scrambled eggs), bread, butter, jam, and one piece of chocolate banana crepe. It would have been nice to have had a more substantial meal.

They could have provided a better breakfast.

Breakfast was great, quantity was high and contained a variety of food, quality was good. The room was clean, and nicely decorated, the size was appropriate, the bed was comfortable, the terrace was big and with chairs and table to stay there enjoying the very nice views. The personnel was very nice, we could park next to the hotel entry. It was located in the old town, close to several restaurants and shops.

Beautiful room and extremely clean! The staff were all lovely. It’s a great location, right next to the mosque and a 2 min walk from a supermarket and close to the river. We got a load of laundry done for €10. The breakfast was great and all vegetarian. It consisted of muesli, pastry/pancakes, eggs, bread, jam/honey, fresh fruit, coffee and juice. Sometimes we couldn’t find anyone at reception but we managed to contact via booking.com messaging system which worked well for us.
