The location is stunning with incredible views of the mountain valleys. Although it's a bit of an uphill walk it's not too far to get into the town. There is also a shuttle service if you need it. Many of great hiking routes nearby covering all levels of difficult. The WiFi was fast (~ 100 Mbps download & upload speeds) and reliable. I had no issues working from there. Staff were lovely - really warm, welcoming and helpful. I used the gym regularly and found it to be great to keep fit whilst away from home with enough equipment to help you do so. As many have also mentioned, the breakfast is amazing! With a great selection of choices, including many vegan and vegetarian options - you will enjoy your stay here. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

Food was very good although the plates at the hot food section could have done with being hot. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Staff were very friendly and the spa was clean. Good massage after a day on the slopes. Rooms are a good size and the bed was really comfortable. Very family friendly- (lots of kids running around the buffet) The free shuttle to the ski lift/village was great, quick and efficient. Ski/board hire from the hotel was very convenient and friendly. Ski lockers were a decent size and boot warmers are provided.

There is no sun terrace (there is a terrace but never any sun due to position). This isn't the hotels fault but when you get back at 4 or 5 it would have been really nice to sit in the sun with a drink. Irish bar was good but quite cold and the garden furniture/sofas used are not comfortable. The heating in the room didn't seem to change no matter what setting it was on so we opened the windows to cool it down. As a short person I had to jump to reach the towels in the shower which my family found very funny!

Food was delicious. Surprising variety and quality at breakfast and dinner buffets - very good value for money. Hotel staff were fantastic, very friendly, helpful with organising ski. We loved Alex at front of house and Felix who takes care of ski equipment, all the restaurant team and the young Argentinian barman (sorry - forgot his name!). Rooms were very clean and cleaned every day. Swimming pool was very clean with a jacuzzi, steam and sauna. Shuttle bus from the hotel to the gondola (5 mins away) was on demand and very efficient. We parked our rental car in the road close to the hotel for free. Nice touch to have a family friendly bar with a soft play.

only thing is be aware you pay extra every time you use the swimming pool/ spa area. It is lovely though and very relaxing after skiing.

Like the local "Roc" bearing the same name and Sitting proud on the hillside overlooking Canillo within spitting distance from the telecabine ..as the crow flies that is. ~1.5km by road but no need to worry - an excellent minibus service every day during half term , even picking us up after a brief local apres craft beer in "Blot" on our last night. Views, rooms, spa, bar, restaurant, tasteful, modern, excellent, creative, varied buffet on half board incl. cooked to order options. Happy, friendly staff a credit to the locality - thankyou, well done, keep it up. D.

Some shrieking kids kept up too late were noisy just once in half term in the irish bar play area; the staff can't be expected to parent for clients but they do serve large Andorra style spirit measures!

First mention should go to the staff who work hard and the help is excellent. Alex, Micaela at reception were excellent, and the bar/restaurant staff very good. I think the breakfast, dinner, and bar are excellent. There is great variety for both breakfast and dinner. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of craft beers available in the bar. I found parking every evening, but it is a bit tight and I did get worried that someone would scratch/bump into a hired car with all the hassles to follow. Didn't happen. I would definitely recommend the hotel and will go there again.

I was slightly surprised that they charged for use of the pool and spa. I was hoping that it would be included.

Hotel Roc Meler was one of those hidden gems you stumble upon without knowing. It’s a beautiful hotel, extremely cozy while modern. the facilities were very clean and well taken care of. it had the air of light luxury while still remaining wholesome and affordable. The views from some of the windows around the building were lovely, the staff attentive and always willing to help. Alex at reception was particularly lovely. The food for the buffet, breakfast and dinner, was very delicious and well stocked. I didn’t get a chance to use the spa but my friends assured me it was peaceful and the pools were well maintained and warm. The room felt spacious even though there were three of us. There was a shuttle van that would take us to the bottom of the ski lift every morning and pick us up once the slopes closed. I enjoyed everything about the hotel and I hope to be back next year!

Loved everything! Just a word of advice for foreign cellphones, our roaming didn’t always work in the town to call the hotel for a van to pick us up at the end of the day. The pay phone sometimes didn’t accept our coins, but luckily it was around the time other visitors wishes to be brought back to the hotel and we just used their cellphones.

The views, the lovely big room, on site restaurants which were great. The inclusive breakfast was bountiful. The staff were great - very hospitable.

One of the reasons we booked this property was the pool, no where did we see it was 10 euros extra to go to the pool and you had to book. We then found out anyone with a bit of hair on their head has to wear an ugly bathing cap which they provide. When I checked out they charged us an extra 3.50 for borrowing this ugly hat. So, the pool and spa is lovely and worth using - just understand you will be charged more.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. We were very impressed with the buffet breakfast and the buffet dinner, there was a lot of choice and it was very tasty. Our family room had lots of space, comfortable beds, 2 separate bathrooms, 2 tvs and a mini fridge, and a great view of Canillo and a bonus of a jacuzzi bath. We had a problem with our heating but this was fixed within an hour of speaking to the staff.

There is an extra charge to use the pool (it's within the spa). It was €30 for us as a family, and it opens at 11am and children need to leave by 6pm, so we only used it once (we had activities planned the other days during most of those times and it seemed a lot to only go in for 30mins/1hour). The pool itself was very nice. It would have been nice to have a few more loungers - to match the number of people booked in (there were only 4 loungers)

The room was a good size, view was wonderful. Staff were very friendly and all spoke English. We had garage parking for the motorbike. Food was lovely. The Irish bar was big and has a little play area for little ones. It also has 2 outside terraces looking at the town and mountains, cheap drinks..we had our own fridge in our room and plenty of storage for clothes and motorbike gear. The beds were really comfortable.

Not much really only not enough tea and coffee no milk. They only change towels after 2 days but isnt really a problem as i do that at home anyway. Have to wear flipflops and swimming hat in the pool which isnt stated on their facilities. The double bed was 2 singles pushed together.

Quiet with a beautifull view, worth the upgrade. Not far from downtown. Super friendly personnel. Amazing breakfast.

Bit hard to find in the dark. Waze wasn’t very helpful (and roaming is expensive because Andorra is not in the EU - mention this on your site, please. Would have saved me 50€). A little spotlight on the last sign on the road would be nice. Plus the adres we got via Booking.com is not correct.
