Breakfast is excellent with an omelette station and fresh produce and great bread. Parking is available on request. The spa has a large sized pool, separate jacuzzi, a sauna and a steam room. The El Canillo ski lift is just 5 minutes' drive, down the hill, from the hotel. The staff is very polite and accommodating.

Availability of towels in the spa is scarce; they only give you one towel at the reception, which, for the entry price to the spa (20 euros), seems very thrifty. Additionally, they should make water available in the spa area and also allow for buying of other refreshing drinks. Lighting in the room is very dim. It would be nice to have the availability of bright light.

The property showcases a beautiful view of Canillo. The buffet breakfast is fabulous. The Irish Bar is quite fun as well. However, what really sets the Roc Meler apart from many hotels is the level of hospitality offered by the staff. The level of hospitality far exceeds other hotels in the area. The front desk team was eager to address any issue. Alex, Michaela, and Kevin were especially attentive. The restaurants and bars offered first-class attention. Bartenders, Bruno and Celeste were fantastic hosts who provided excellent service and information about the area. The restaurant is equally attentive, offering an amazing breakfast and dinner service. Marielle was quite observant in all our needs in the restaurant. I would highly recommend the Roc Meler Hotel

The hotel is a little farther from Canillo than anticipated. You should have a car or, even better, an e-bike.

Very clean and well maintained hotel. Breakfast very rich. Dinner is buffet type; it offered variety of meat, salad bar, deserts, charcuterie etc. Staff very polite and friendly. Entertaining games in the pub.

The restaurant is closed midday and pub offers only few snacks. Midday guest should look for food somewhere else; hotel away from restaurants and shops. If you are looking for view only the superior rooms offer that(which was not clear when we booked) … we got a wall view … must read description more carefully next time; however we had a good sleep as it was very quiet and comfy inside.

Modern hotel with great views. Really friendly and helpful staff. Everything we needed in one place; organised ski hire, lift passes and the mini-bus shuttle to the lifts was great. Buffet style meals were great and good quality, with food cooked for you on the spot. I would recommend for families with kids primary school upwards as the food options for them were great (freshly made crepes, chocolate fountain). Lovely spa pool.

I would have like to know that swimming caps were obligatory in the pool, annoying to have to purchase a cap. Bring flip flops and cap. Also on the last morning we were leaving early and opted for the picnic breakfast but no one was at reception at 715, then when the receptionist returned it wasn’t ready. Delayed our departure, but really the only negative in a very enjoyable stay.

Great hotel featuring a spa for relaxation. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. While parking is available on site, space is limited, and guests may need to pay approximately 20 Euros per night if unlucky. However, the rooms are well-equipped, immaculately clean, and regularly refreshed, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, the hotel offers a delicious breakfast spread. There is also a pub located in the hotel if you want to have a drink or dinner without going outside. Conveniently, guests can rent equipment directly from the hotel, adding to its appeal. Moreover, there is a transfer service to the ski lifts, although guests should note that the hotel is slightly distant from the ski lift areas, requiring a short drive each time. Fast internet connection.

Parking was limited and underground parking was expensive.

The location is stunning with incredible views of the mountain valleys. Although it's a bit of an uphill walk it's not too far to get into the town. There is also a shuttle service if you need it. Many of great hiking routes nearby covering all levels of difficult. The WiFi was fast (~ 100 Mbps download & upload speeds) and reliable. I had no issues working from there. Staff were lovely - really warm, welcoming and helpful. I used the gym regularly and found it to be great to keep fit whilst away from home with enough equipment to help you do so. As many have also mentioned, the breakfast is amazing! With a great selection of choices, including many vegan and vegetarian options - you will enjoy your stay here. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

Breakfast was pretty good, a lot of veggie, fruits and eggs station. All you need to fuel up for the day.

The walls are paper thin.. can hear everything in the next room and corridor. Some really annoying people come out to talk on the phone to the corridor early in the morning and wake up the whole floor.. same at night can hear all what’s happening in the room next door.

The restaurant was great. Always fresh food and a lot of choices. What I really enjoyed was the friendliness of the staff and their ability to help you. We were able to book everything from the hotel (ski-passed, ski-school,... ), and the ski-shuttle was very appreciated. The SPA was nice and clean, with a great sauna - exactly what you need after skiing. The Irish Pub was a very nice addition to the hotel, a great place to relax in the evening.

Multiple noisy unattended russian speaking kids running around the hotel during all the period of stay. The sleeping pillows are way too big, very uncomfortable for your neck, it would be nice to have an option to opt-in for a thinner variant.

Food was very good although the plates at the hot food section could have done with being hot. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Staff were very friendly and the spa was clean. Good massage after a day on the slopes. Rooms are a good size and the bed was really comfortable. Very family friendly- (lots of kids running around the buffet) The free shuttle to the ski lift/village was great, quick and efficient. Ski/board hire from the hotel was very convenient and friendly. Ski lockers were a decent size and boot warmers are provided.

There is no sun terrace (there is a terrace but never any sun due to position). This isn't the hotels fault but when you get back at 4 or 5 it would have been really nice to sit in the sun with a drink. Irish bar was good but quite cold and the garden furniture/sofas used are not comfortable. The heating in the room didn't seem to change no matter what setting it was on so we opened the windows to cool it down. As a short person I had to jump to reach the towels in the shower which my family found very funny!
