Great location!! Could walk to the Obelisk and Casa Rosada. There's a great coffee shop close by as well. Architecture style of the hotel is very interesting, with the old elevator! The room had many outlets and lights and was clean and comfortable. The receptionist guy was great.

We couldn't control the A/C. You have to call reception to either turn it on or off. At times, the room was a little bit too loud, because the hotel is located on a busy street. The A/C made lots of noises at times as well.

This hotel is truly exceptional, located in one of the most enchanting destinations on Earth. Its location is superb, the staff is highly professional and attentive, and the cleanliness and comfort are outstanding. Without a doubt, it has been one of the most remarkable travel experiences of my life. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! Rather than merely staying in a typical hotel, you will have the unique opportunity to reside in a historic castle. Excellent location next to the 9 de julio avenue - despite this, there was little noise from outside in our room. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size and quite quirky (bedroom in a mezzanine, separate from a living area).

No breakfast option available. You had to call reception to switch air con on and off. Our room was not suitable for people with mobility issues but this might not be the case in every room.

Fantastic place to stay in B.A. The hotel is right in the centre, next to the underground, a few minutes walk from the main attractions, café Tortoni, and a Hop on bus stop. My room 110, was lovely, although as many, only an indoor facing window so although no direct daylight it also meant sleeping well ! Bed and bedding very comfortable and sockets everywhere for charging appliances. The bathroom was good, clean, and fabulous shower! TV and excellent WiFi. During my stay I met 5 different receptionist, all of whom were helpful, professional, friendly and efficient. Also, my room was much, much cheaper than I had thought, basically because if you pay in local money it will depend on the exchange rate you found, which is very confusing .... officially the US$ was 163 but in (an official) exchange place in town you can get 260, or up to 310 ARS !! My room basically became almost half the price.

The only negative was not having fridge or kettle in room, but at reception there is a very good coffee machine for 200 ARS per coffee, and a fridge with cold drinks to buy.

The location is great, right in the centre - good for staying for several days. Old historic building with a small kind of museum part downstairs. Our room faced Av.Mayo so it was a little bit loud from the street - but as windows are good noice is not that strong. AC in the room, comfy bed. Staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. A bit dusty, but not that critical. Good shower and fast wifi - dind't have any problems in a room.

A bit dusty, especially under the bed:) The cleaner comes only once a day, in the morning, and if you're still sleeping - he doesn't come back later. We didn't ask for the cleaning specifically when were leaving the room, though, so I can't consider it as a major minus.

Super central hotel with access to everything, staff wonderful and helpful. Rooms large with mezzanine (on 2 floors) with wooden stairs going up to bed. TV loads of channels. Each room has a table and 2 chairs, good size bathroom with great power shower, luxury soft bed linen. Air conditioning works really well and is controlled by reception on an individual basis. Old museum downstairs to visit and old lift to floors. Loved this antique boutique hotel and came back twice. Very very cheap prices and a coffee machine in the reception.

big rooms, never stayed in a hotel with rooms so big and for such a low price. The location is perfect for exploring BsAs, theaters and museums only a few minutes away, there are also restaurants for any budget. a museum inside the hotel is also a very pleasant bonus!

the view from our window wasn’t great and we couldn’t find a window with a good view on any of the floors, I guess we were just misguided by some of the recommendations online

Excellent location, right in in the middle of all famous places. Subway stop is right beside for farther destinations. Old, very well maintained hotel with charm of Buenos Aires architecture. Polite and helpful staff, two level rooms with modern accents. All this at bargain price. Perfect for solo and couples

They don't offer breakfast but plenty of cafes around provide for every taste

- a big room with balcony - there is a historical lift for upstairs - they keep the luggages after check out for few days

- There are two pieces of soaps on the bathtub and they not clean.

Staff were really lovely and helpful, despite my poor Spanish. They made my first day in Buenos Aires as a solo traveller much easier than I was expecting, helping me with changing money and organising transport to the airport.
