There are so many things that we liked… The rooms were very well decorated, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast may not have been huge, but it was of an excellent quality. But the best thing was probably the staff. Those working at the reception desk were so friendly and helpful, but the other staff (cleaning personnel, those who worked breakfast, etc.) were also great. The location of the hotel was also superb. It is right in the middle if everything that Buenos Aires has to offer.

Not all rooms have smart TVs (with a connection to Nexflix available), but we were told that those are being updated little by little & will eventually all have them. So really no big deal.

Hotel is very nicely designed and decorated in a vintage motif, lots of antiques in the lobby, and comfortable rooms which include a roll top desk and spacious bathroom. The staff was fantastic, Esequiel and Rodolfo oriented us around the city, and we booked a great Tango dinner show at the Porteño Tango with their help, $83 per person, well worth it. Breakfast is modest but nice, good coffee. Location is walking distance to Hop on Hop off bus stop, cathedral, Plaza de Mayo, Obelisc, and Recoleta.

The location, althow central to everything, is a little dark at night, and there are a few homeles families and individuals in the area. Washing your own clothes is nearly impossible, most hotels offer the service at a co$t.

fantastic place, very cozy and classy, inside looks like a museum. Central location, one block from the main boulevard with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, grocery on each corner. hotel front door is always locked for security reasons witch gives you peace of mind! ** two electrical outlets had a socket for the 3-prone US type plug and I was able to use my power strip since I only had one adapter

the shower curtain is on hooks and doesn't slide easily, rings would work much better.. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Super friendly and careful staff, the room was very comfortable and clean, the hotel decoration is very interesting, amazing location, close to bus stops and metro stations, it was an excellent choice

the breakfast was good but not incredible, very basic stuff (bread, cheese, ham, eggs, coffee/tea/juice)... It would be nice to have some more options to choose for breakfast, they served fruit salad in just 1 day

If you love tango and experiencing the glamour of its time, that's the place! Beautiful boutique hotel, introducing its guests to the tango culture with an amazing exhibition in the lounge, spacious rooms with class, character, clean, comfortable (very comfortable matress, which is not common in such hotels) and very central for a stay in Microcentro. 5 minutes to Teatro Colon and Obelisco, 12 minutes to Buquebus and connection to reach every place of interest. Very friendly and positive owners and staff!

Some of the staff and trainees could hardly speak any English.

as with many places in BA, there are homeless people in many streets including a nearby alcove but we had no problems at all and the hotel itself was secure with a buzzer system

the staff were amazing, especially Rodolfo on reception. it was our sons birthday and he opened the door and sang happy birthday to us as we came in to the hotel. he could not have been more welcoming and gave us great tips on where to visit. the room was spacious and spotlessly clean and was warm and inviting.

nothing. breakfast was absolutely fine and fresh but not a huge range of food options. plentiful though and service great.

The evening host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He helped confirm our tango show pickup and remembered our names and his English was excellent. The look and feel of the place was historic and the room was large clean and big, with nice hot water. The location was easy to find. The juice was fresh squeezed and refreshing.

The continental breakfast was not as much variety. but what there was was delicious.

I like everything in the Hotel. Its location, room, bed, bathroom, and dining area are like a museum if you want to learn about Tango. Most important about the Tanguero Hotel is its staff; Rodolfo, Leonel, Ezequiel, and the lady who serves breakfast are very friendly. If you have questions, Rodolfo, Leonel and Ezequiel will help you with local places to eat good food or places to visit.

This hotel is a special experience with a period decor but very warm hospitality. Excellent location downtown and easy walking to transport connections, subway, etc. Breakfast was generous and relaxed hours. WiFi good, quiet location, local eateries and mini market across the street - what more do you need?
