The estate is beautifully maintained, blends in with the surrounding area, making you feel connected to the nature around, and is in a great location within the hunter valley, perfect for wine tours in the area. The room was huge and had a lovely bathroom and a balcony overlooking the golf course, allowing you to wake up and see the wild kangaroos on the property. The extremely comfortable bed and black out curtains allowed for an excellent night's sleep. All staff we encountered here were extremely friendly and helpful. We could not recommend Chateau Elan more, it is excellent value for money.

We loved the entire experience, one small recommendation would be to expand the machines and weights selection in the gym.

The locating and the scenery around the resort were awesome. Our suite was very spacious, clean and well appointed. Bathroom size was fantastic (no bumping into each other constantly). Nice big shower with good water flow and a deep comfy bath with spa jets, a large, wide mirror plus lots of bench and drawer space. The staff at the Elan were really nice, pleasantly engaging and super helpful. An awesome weekend.

Not much to dislike. Very Minor issues were - The heated pool didn't seem to be heated (was quite cool). The Legends restaurant didn't offer free choice a la carte at dinner time - it was an $85 2 course choice at best, so didn't cater for small eaters. Bed was a bit hard and wife commented on there being no full length mirror in our suite anywhere. All quite minor things really.

All team members working over the weekend had smiles on their faces, greets and acknowledged every guest as though welcoming us to their home! This is something that you rarely experience nowadays. Great location and mazing property with kangaroos roaming the grounds. The 1 Bedroom Villa interior is nicely done with a fireplace, dining table etc. There is a new Bistro Nineteen just a short walk giving more dining and drinks options.

The TV does not have smart functions and streaming was a pain to setup using their link. Wifi is fast but keeps hanging intermittently so I just used my 4G. The bed mattress was sunken in and probably needs to be replaced. The balcony (we were on ground level in a 1 bedroom villa) is separated by just aluminium slats which does not offer any privacy and conversations carry through where you may as well be sitting together. The electric car charger is appreciated but restricted to 1KW per hour charge which makes it super slow.

Overall look of the resort was lovely. Felt very posh! The room was gorgeous and our balcony overlooking the golf course and mountains in the distance was lovely. The pool area looked clean and nice. The restaurant was nice when we went in for our breakfast buffet that had an amazing selection of healthy and unhealthy food and drink options for whatever you’re wanting to go for. Golf course and grounds were well maintained and staff were all very polite and welcoming whenever we went around the resort. Our room was gorgeous and very spacious. Loved the decor and vibe however after running our bath the spa bath stopped working the jets weren’t fully working and the tap handle fell off and only could turn cold water on. Luckily this wasn’t a problem as I had already run the bath and we were only there the one night so it wasn’t a big deal for us. I let them know upon checking out which they said they would have someone see to it asap so I’m sure it won’t be a problem and was just an unfortunate situation that luckily didn’t ruin our stay at all. Overall a lovely night and will definitely come back hopefully for more than one night next time to fully enjoy all facilities.

Can’t really find any faults to write about.

The staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable with the spa bath very relaxing. The breakfast in the club house was quite good and the service was very friendly. Location was fairly central if you have a car and on the whole a nice place to stay.

The design of the toilet in the room wasn't very private and kind of uncomfortable. We found the dinner menu at the restaurant in the club house limited and not very exciting unfortunately and closing quite early.

Great location with excellent facilities. The rooms are very large with beautiful views of the golf course. The buffet breakfast is also lovely with a great selection, making it really good value for money.

The room probably wasn't cleaned as well as it should have been with dust on the TV cabinet. BYO pillows as you'll leave with a strained neck. Take extra caution when driving to your villa when the cleaners are about, as they tend to pull out in their carts without looking...during my 4 night stay, this happened to me on 3 occasions.

Excellent location

An Eastern European lady came to us and told us we had to make a final order since the bar closed at 9 pm which is far too early for midweek. She told us we couldn’t buy another drink from the bar after 9pm We saw another group of men getting drinks. We think they were maybe regulars so got preferential treatment. We asked a different bar maid and eventually we were told we could put the order on our room number which we did. We should’ve been told this to start with

The location was picturesque, with the backdrop of the Great Dividing Range, Gold course and greater Hunter Region. We couldn't have asked for a better accommodation and location for our spontaneous getaway! Everything about the apartment was magnificent, amd meticulously taken care of. Ranging from the printing on the towels, to the books on display. You can truly see this company takes immense pride in their craftsmanship.

The only thing that wasn’t 10/10 was the restaurant legends - food was very average, meat was over cooked and price tags didn’t match expectations. Saying this, it was still an okay meal and didn’t ruin our trip, I would just advise heading out for dinner if you’re staying more than 1 night
