Great location, close enough to walk to the bowls and golf club. Impeccably clean cabin, well laid out, private, light and airy, and more than comfortable amount of room for two. The laundry block was also tidy, and change readily available at reception for washers & dryers. Plentiful line space for those with the time to air dry. Staff were very friendly & helpful, we would highly recommend staying at Cobar Caravan Park, particularly because other accommodation in town had mixed reviews from friends we travelled with.

The only feedback is that the bed mattress in our cabin was not very comfortable, too thin on the springs, but the good far outweighed this for us.

Helpful staff at reception-good recommendations for an evening meal. Light and airy room with lots of windows. Sparkling clean and an ensuite shower with a door and not a flimsy curtain allowing water to go over the floor. Good hot water supply. Large fridge and enough utensils to make a meal.

The door curtain which had to be pulled right back to enter. Please update the cost of washing machine & dryer, more expensive than as stated on the park information sheet handed out at reception.

Very new cabin.

A sign which stated that if all dishes weren't washed & put away, a $50 charge may be deducted from my credit card. The cabin was $167- per night, so at that price, I think the washing of dishes should be included, plus it is the park's responsibility to have clean dishes for guests on arrival. As a result of their policy, I found 2 out of 4 wine glasses dirty! We also stayed in new cabins in other parks during our trip, not far from Cobar and never saw another sign like this! So far I haven't been charged for the 2 glasses which I didn't dirty! Other than that, I can highly recommend staying in the new cabins.

Had a very comfortable "overnighter". There was a problem with the power in our cabin and when notified the owner/manager could not have been more helpful nor more apologetic. We moved to a new cabin & the next morning she offered us a refund, which we declined as it was just bad luck. I imagine since covid they need every dollar they can get. We have stayed there once before & would definitely stay there again

We arrived after the office was closed. We received a text message with a code to retrieve our key and everything went very smoothly. The cabin itself was immaculately clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a more than comfortable stay. We cannot rate this property highly enough for its cleanliness. A pleasure to stay there and would definitely stay again.

Not Applicable.

What an oasis! I loved staying here, cute little cabin in a leafy caravan park on the edge of town. After all the motels and hotels, it was nice to get a taste of nature and the birds singing in the morning. The staff were friendly and warm, it was a nice, basic, clean spacious cabin, with a good shower and bathroom and wifi. A TV kitchenette, a table to sit at and a double bed. I wish I had longer than one night!

Well equipped cabin with everything we needed. Quiet. Friendly staff. Cobar is a surprisingly nice town, with a good bakery, coffee and a well stocked supermarket. The Museum at the visitors centre was very interesting.

Our cabin was a little bit tired. But still clean and functional, so not really a negative.

I booked this place on the way to Cobar from Lightning Ridge on the day of arrival. The lady on the phone was just the most helpful, reliable and friendly person I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to. She offered the best customer service I have ever received considering she wasn’t even at work when I called her! We arrived in Cobar later than we expected, I went to the key box to find no key. I called the lady and within a few minutes the one of the site staff ran down in her dressing gown to help us! The key was there I just looked in the wrong box. They were the most friendly and beautiful people and the room was clean, modern and most importantly warm!!! They have electric blankets on the beds which I haven’t found at any other accommodation we’ve stayed at. We are travelling from QLD to SA (in no rush) so we’ve stayed at a few places. This one has been our favourite so far! I’ve stayed at other places in Cobar before and I didn’t get this kind of hospitality. I will never ever ever ever stay anywhere else in Cobar! This place is like a home away from home while you’re on the road and the people just treat you like family. Can’t even begin to explain how happy we are that we chose to stay here!!! Thank you so much to the whole team at the Cobar Caravan Park! Look forward to seeing you all again on our next trip x

The shower head was so small I had to allocate body parts to the water.

Location is handy to town, the park itself is quiet and seems well maintained. We booked a 2 bedroom cabin for a family of 5. We found the cabin very tidy and although it was small it served us well. Great air conditioner, lovely to escape the heat.

The kids bedroom had no fan so it was quite hot at night even with the door left open and the air conditioner on in the main living area. But as we were only there a night it wasn’t a major problem at all.

We stayed in the dog friendly cabin and it was comfortable and warm. It was only a small cabin but big enough for a dog bed and bowls that weren’t in the way. The shower was nice and hot.

The microwave was broken so had to use the camp kitchen. The cabin would have been a bit too squishy with a family of four and 1-2 dogs.
